14/03/2024: Nomen omen: abbiamo pranzato in quest'enoteca di domenica dopo grandi temporali, ed è stato memorabile. Il menu, perfettamente adattabile anche a palati vegetariani, è insieme raffinato e famigliare: curato nei minimi dettagli, tanto i piatti salati quanto i dolci sono tanto gradevoli alla vista quanto al gusto. Menzione d'onore per i tuorli fritti e la semisfera al bunet (ma anche la pannacotta al miele - senza addensanti, alla vecchia maniera - è notevolissima). La carta dei vini e la mescita sono nettamente al di sopra della media, pur in un contesto di eccellenza come le Langhe: in ogni calice traspaiono la passione per il vino e l'amore per la ricerca. Consigliamo ai bevitori più curiosi - ma anche agli esigenti - di affidarsi ai suggerimenti dello staff, non vi deluderanno!

05/04/2024: Wonderful little restaurant in the middle of Alba. Service and food were great and the steak was fantastic, cooked and seasoned perfectly.

09/03/2024: Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered two traditional menus with four courses each, a glass of wine, water = €107.50. Good dishes and portions. Service: ⭐️ wine by the glass, altered by probable poor storage (the bottle of Nebbiolo from which it was served was at the bottom) was acidic. Reported, the response was, in the exact words: "we don't do it, and taste is subjective.." Environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice place in the center of Alba located entirely underground in the foundations of a historic structure. The fact that they are not responsible for the products they serve and the total lack of "good taste" in changing wine and counting it at the time of payment leads to assigning one star.

21/12/2023: The owner is very nice. The place is comfortable, it is frequented by normal people who come and go from work with different outfits... You can have a bite to eat without spending a fortune and without too many expectations. All very balanced. A little noisy, indoors not suitable for talking in groups.

01/02/2024: Dulcis Vita is located in Alba very close to the main car park in the access square to the city centre. I was there for lunch on a business trip. I took some advice and got a "SPECTACULAR" fillet, juicy and cooked to perfection... practically a piece of butter, all accompanied by crunchy and perfectly cooked vegetables. I also enjoyed the pleasure of an excellent dessert ;) I also appreciated the detail of the hazelnut bread and the aromatic breadsticks. My 5 stars for the very high quality of the products served, the kindness of the staff and Chef Bruno Cingolani who I had the pleasure of meeting during lunch. Highly recommended!!! Manuel

03/04/2024: Very welcoming place, furnished in an original way... The staff members are always available, kind and friendly... It is certainly one of the best places in Alba to have a good aperitif with a beer or a cocktail... Also open on morning and lunch...

14/03/2024: I went to have breakfast with a friend who goes there regularly. The girls are kind and nice, the 7 fruit brioche particularly impressed me. Good coffee. Online prices. I need to go back to drinking their beer ASAP. Very nice place in terms of interior furnishings.

10/03/2024: Very nice place carefully furnished in vintage style. Frequented by a young clientele but also by families with children. We tried the dishes offered by the kitchen which did not offer much choice especially of first and second courses. The gnocchi with meat sauce, the only first course offered, had an acidic sauce while the baked meatballs were not fresh. While the baked potatoes were good and tasty. Definitely more recommended as a pub than as a place to dine. For the quality offered, the prices are high.

30/12/2023: After years of service, it continues to confirm itself as one of the best takeaway (and non-takeaway) pizzerias in Alba. Super digestible doughs and top ingredients! Keep it up!

15/01/2024: Non fatevi spaventare dalla stella Michelin perchè seppur stellato ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Un calice di Dolcetto a 3,50 Euro è assolutamente un costo ragionevole (in qualsiasi altro ristorante meno "pregiato" è solitamente a 5 euro). Anche le porzioni sono adeguate e ovviamente di ottima qualità. Non mi ha fatto impazzire il vitello tonnato che mi sarei aspettata più saporito ma l'insalata russa davvero favolosa ! Locale arredato da vera osteria con i tavoli e le sedie di legno come una volta. Bellissima cantina vini ! Personale non empatico ma professionale. Centrale la location, sotto al portico della piazza ora intitolata a Michele Ferrero.
