15/06/2026: We first dined at the restaurant in May of this year. It's centrally located in Alba's old town. The decor is design-oriented and Scandinavian, featuring pieces by Louis Poulsen and Fritz Hansen. The menu is classic Italian and regional: refined cuisine with wonderful flavors and a good balance between individual courses and the entire menu. The attentive service perfectly combines a relaxed atmosphere with professionalism.

26/05/2026: Honestly, we didn't plan on stopping here during our trip to Alba. But I'm so grateful for the reasons that led us here. I'm so glad we ate here. The staff, the atmosphere, and the food were amazing. We arrived without a reservation, but they welcomed us warmly, and we were very pleased with what we ate. The asparagus lasagna was fantastic. The cheese platter offered the opportunity to try some of the best cheeses in the region. The panna cotta and the strawberry dessert with mascarpone were delicious.

25/03/2026: The Royal has been popular in Alba for years now. I used to go there as a student during my surveying classes; the owners are always very friendly and kind. Now it's a regular stop for my morning breakfast before work and my post-lunch coffee.

11/05/2026: (rating applies to café) The service was very friendly and the cappuccini and cornetti in the morning were excellent. Lots of atmosphere and not touristy.

03/05/2026: I ate in this bar restaurant, the staff were very kind and helpful, the veal with tuna sauce was good, as were the tagliolini with sausage ragù and the bonet, which was very good. I had a good time and I recommend it.

15/07/2026: Very welcoming place, professional and knowledgeable staff. Fantastic pizza. I was in the area today for work and it was a revelation. I recommend it.

12/07/2026: The food is good, but wait for takeaway is horrible. Took over 1 hour to receive the food, and they even failed with the ingredients/topping. Ordered a pizza with "Agilio, Cipolla, Funghi, Pocca Mozzarella, Prosciutto Crudo, Rucola and Scaglie Grana(Parmesan)", but there were no onion or garlic, instead they added nduja and olives... Pizza slightly undercooked, but still good.

18/07/2026: Excellent dinner! Recommended! A lovely osteria in the center of Alba. The woman who served us was really kind in recommending what to eat and drink.

14/07/2026: Great place, with awesome authentic Italian food and wine. Relaxed atmosphere, although it's clearly busy. We were unexpectedly handed a glass of white wine by the manager, it randomly passed our table with a slat in the bottle, with the words "aperitif". (It didn't come on the bill)Recommended to book

30/07/2026: Five of us visited Momenti Gourmet with a 50% discount. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, but the service was unfortunately a sore point: we arrived at 7:00 PM to an empty restaurant, and the appetizers were served quickly. However, with the arrival of a group of eight, both the dining room and kitchen were brought to a standstill. Perhaps it was just a bad night, but beyond the location and the aesthetics of the dishes, communication with customers is crucial when there's a delay in the kitchen. With the discount, the quality of the food is worth it, but at full price, this lack of attention is a drag; it's a shame to note how such superficial service is becoming an all-too-common trend in many restaurants.

24/07/2026: Passing through Alba, we booked in advance since we weren't familiar with the city. The restaurant's culinary offerings suggested modern cuisine that respects tradition. Our visit lived up to our expectations. The dishes are expertly prepared, and the quality of the ingredients shines through with every bite. The courses are well-balanced and expertly plated, and the details are both visually and palate-pleasing. 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 2 second courses, and 1 dessert. All excellent. The service is fresh, young, and friendly! Kudos to the second courses. Well done.

22/07/2026: Wow! I thought it would be better! It couldn't get any worse. The service was terrible; they made us wait for an hour without serving us, instead serving the table after us simply because they were friends with whom they were laughing and joking. The staff was completely inattentive to our needs; they didn't even notice we didn't have bread or breadsticks, and they never asked us if we needed anything. They didn't explain the rules regarding bread, which was self-service and we didn't know. They just walked back and forth, pretending not to notice we needed it. The food was good, but for those prices, the quantities were bordering on ridiculous; they were only good as a sampling. I don't recommend the mixed salad of raw and cooked vegetables because it has none of that; it's just lettuce.
