07/08/2026: A pleasant experience. Typical Biella atmosphere, warm, rustic. Friendly yet professional. The cuisine is easy to understand and full of intense flavors. Highly recommended. Oh, I forgot: prices from days gone by. Not surprisingly. Always packed.

28/07/2026: Dinner at the recommendation of some colleagues. A warm and welcoming restaurant with brick vaults and rustic, homey furnishings. Attentive but frenetic service. The menu was short but extensive, but I didn't particularly enjoy the dishes I chose. For starters, a trio of veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad, and tomino cheese. The tuna sauce was well-cooked and tender, but the sauce was a bit too runny and a touch acidic on the palate. The Russian salad had a mayonnaise that wasn't particularly to my taste; the tomino cheese was garnished with giardiniera, which wasn't exactly suitable for my taste given its acidity. For the first course, the plin (a type of pasta), which I must say was delicious in flavor and cooking. The maccagno cheese fondue was a bit too slow. For dessert, a fig tart... served in very small squares, and instead of figs, a compote... I would have preferred to know what the dessert was in advance so I could have chosen another.

20/03/2026: I absolutely loved this restaurant! The chef offers refined cuisine without being over the top, elevating local ingredients and traditional dishes. I experienced genuine emotion through the flavors and presentation of the plates. The service was impeccable and very friendly. Special mention to Stefano, who brings a cheerful atmosphere while remaining highly professional. We'll be back when we're in the area again!

03/08/2026: Simply fabulous. Typical Biella cuisine, not overdone to match the whims of Michelin-starred restaurants, but still using quality ingredients and cooked with care. The owner came personally to ask how things were going—a kindness unheard of. I'll definitely be back. The price is a bit high, but that's all there is to it.

02/05/2026: Truly everything was delicious! We ordered the €40 tasting menu. You leave the restaurant rolling with joy! So much food, and everything was truly delicious! Pictured are the cold appetizers and dessert. The menu also included hot appetizers, a first and second course, and a bottle of wine. We were a group of six who had just returned from a walk that included a visit to the Burcina. We were served impeccably, despite the restaurant being full. My advice is to book, not only to secure a seat, but because you have to try it! Truly top-notch!

30/06/2026: The historic meeting place for returning from Saturday night 😁 for years and years you'd find the whole Biella area dancing here, eating everything 😅 until dawn on Sunday. A truly LEGENDARY place!!

23/06/2026: Fantastic pastry shop! The desserts and hot food are always excellent and prepared with great care. Sara's cakes are not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious. Gino manages everything with passion and professionalism, while Rachida is always kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. A special place we always want to return to!

04/07/2026: The location, overlooking the Bric Paglie, invites you to stop, and so I did today during my motorcycle ride. Sitting at a table outside, I waited in vain to place my order with a young blonde woman with a ponytail. However, she never showed up, preferring instead to stubbornly focus on a lighter that just wouldn't work to burn the mosquito coils. I then decided to continue my journey, resigned to not being able to drink my orange juice; this was not before receiving a sideways glance from the aforementioned woman, who had clearly seen me at the table, but rather than apologize to a customer for the unusual treatment she received, she preferred to almost pretend nothing had happened. A terrible welcome, no doubt about it. Let's hope better luck befalls the pilgrims heading to Oropa.

01/08/2026: After receiving confirmation of a one-year substitute teaching position at a school, I started looking for places to grab a bite to eat and a drink. I found this "PIECE OF PARADISE," and I've been dying to go back! The owner, Romina, is truly welcoming and pampered me like a mother with her gourmet dishes and sandwiches, but especially with her cakes, which are truly amazing! Artisanal, top-quality food, perfect for lunch, snacks, or a light lunch. Romina knows how to accommodate your every need, and for this reason, I hope to return in the future!

23/04/2026: So good, such awesome staff and so authentic. One of the many reasons to visit Italy (any why you don’t want to go back home 😀). Had lunch. Recommend by Giacomo Colombera at the Colombera & Garella winery nearby. Guests coming in to eat, have a coffee by the bar or just chat. Lovely. Maybe hard to find, though much harder to leave 😎.

05/07/2026: Discovered thanks to the Gourmet Passport. We arrived at 1:00 PM and, unfortunately, our table had been reserved for two people instead of three. However, the staff quickly found a solution. The service was a little slow, but the woman who looked after us, along with the entire team, did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful Sunday. They were incredibly kind and attentive, and came to apologize several times for the inconvenience while making sure everything was alright. We enjoyed a delicious meal from start to finish. We wanted to finish with fruit, and they kindly prepared a beautiful plate of berries for us—a very thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is situated in a very pleasant setting. The staff is truly attentive, and even the chef came to greet us. Kudos to the whole team for this wonderful initiative and their professionalism. We will gladly return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/08/2026: Attracted by the good reviews, I had lunch there. Given that I hadn't booked, the wait was quite long. I ordered a starter of cured meats and cheeses. The cheese was okay. The cured meats were from supermarket bags. However, the quantity was really small. The polenta concia was one of the least good I've tried. Did they forget the cheese? Who knows?! Anyway, I probably got the day wrong. The service was worse than the meal. There was no bread left, and I asked for discounted items several times. Let's hope it was just a bad day.
