We had a wonderful dinner last night. Besides the excellent food, the service really stood out: a warm, attentive, and cheerful welcome that made you feel right at home. My sincere compliments for the care and kindness shown to the customers!

The six of us had a table on the veranda, which didn't offer a great view (a square with cars). It was luxurious. The table was beautifully set and elegant, with placemats and placemats—a rarity these days. The lady who took our orders explained all the dishes thoroughly and was extremely kind (among other things, we discovered she loves Sicily and comes here often, which made the courtesy even easier, making for a truly superior conviviality). I had read a review from someone who complained about the lack of a menu and therefore not being able to see the prices. We didn't feel any discomfort, both because the prices were, albeit summarily, listed on the extensive wine list, and because we had everything explained verbally. The lady, whom I asked to bring a reasonably priced but good Nebbiolo, was impeccable, as we were completely satisfied. The service was absolutely courteous. I won't go into the dishes—I'd be tempted to—but I can say that each of us chose different dishes and we shared tastings: well, everything was superb!!! The bill? I was expecting a huge price tag, I paid €240. In my area (Emilia), €40 a head is barely more than a pizza. Bottom line: if I ever return to Lake Viverone, I know where to go.
