20/07/2025: Disappointing. Got the Risotto which was bland and pasty, wife got the veggie burger which was more like an egg sandwich. Service was good, prices a bit high. At least the potato disks were good.

14/09/2025: My husband and I have rarely experienced such a wonderful restaurant.🥰🥰 We ate here three times during our Piedmont vacation. Each time it was a delight.🥰 The food was top-notch, the service (young man and older woman) was simply magical. Every wish was fulfilled, and the wine selection was excellent. Last time, we sat behind the restaurant with a stunning view and wonderful service. Many thanks to the entire team💞💞💞💞We will definitely be back on our next trip to Italy. 24/08/2025: ✨A corner of poetry and authentic taste. I stumbled upon it by chance, discovering a restaurant that is much more than just a place to eat: it was an experience that welcomes, surprises, and leaves a lasting impression. Even though it was fully booked, they kindly and hospitably found us a table, making us wait very little. The real gem? There's a mailbox at the entrance. 📮For those like me who love handwritten letters and believe in the power of words, it was heartbreaking! A poetic detail that speaks of care and authenticity. The cuisine is a hymn to tradition: you can choose between an à la carte menu or a tasting menu that includes: appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. We shared an appetizer, ordered two first courses, and a dessert...all sublime, accompanied by a local wine recommended with expertise and passion. And then there's the restaurant's history. One of those places that, once you discover it, changes the way you look at your surroundings... a place that tells stories, welcomes, and nourishes, in the truest sense of the word.

01/10/2025: The food and wine were both excellent. We had the carne crudo, peppers with anchovy sauce, pasta with porcini mushrooms, and veal with porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious and the view was great.

28/09/2025: Today's menu features porcini mushrooms. Tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and fried porcini mushrooms. Excellent. Wide selection of wines. As usual, a splendid view of the hills from the terrace!

20/09/2025: A place surrounded by greenery, the diners are incredibly friendly, and the pizza is AMAZING!! Made with local ingredients and homemade. They even gave us each a bottle of wine, which was a much-appreciated touch. We'll definitely be back to enjoy their wonderful pizza, and word of mouth will certainly spread.

20/09/2025: Best pizza I've ever eaten! The location is very welcoming, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh and seasonal. The desserts and liqueurs are also delicious. We'll definitely be back for the next pizza :)

18/10/2025: This restaurant in the center of Asti offers an old-fashioned atmosphere and a warm and friendly service from the staff. The food is served hot, plentiful, and delicious, with a good quality/price ratio. Definitely worth considering if you're in the area.

10/10/2025: We went to lunch at La Douia with reasonable expectations, expecting a classic, traditional restaurant, and we were completely blown away! The experience was truly positive, starting with the service, with extremely friendly and conversational waitresses who explained the thinking behind the dishes served and brought to our table. The quality of the food is very high, and you can taste the attention to quality ingredients. Bra sausage, veal with tuna sauce, and soufflés were truly excellent as appetizers. The plin and spaghetti aglio e olio with Fassona beef tartare were truly excellent, with distinct yet overall balanced flavors. The highlight, however, was the stewed cheek, incredibly tender and rich in flavor. The desserts were all excellent, but the panna cotta, which we were quite skeptical about, was especially delicate, sweet, and velvety. In conclusion, a highly recommended restaurant. If you're in the center of Asti, stop by—it's worth it!

17/09/2025: The thin-crust pizza wasn't bad. The service was poor. No one claims to be "smooth," but a little customer service wouldn't hurt. If you pick up the pizza plates and there's nothing coming, you might expect a response like, "Is everything okay? Would you like anything else?" Well, that wasn't the case for us.

07/09/2025: The pizza isn't exactly pizza: it's very thin and super crispy. The service is a bit slow but quite efficient. The space is large and bright, in a convenient, central area of ​​town.

18/10/2025: I can only leave a positive review. A beautiful room with ancient vaults, and the pizzas on the menu are innovative and creative. Well done 🤗 A choice of different doughs, which I personally found myself using in the black version. Wonderful pizza🫨🫨, and above all, separated into slices with a little bowl of heavenly cream in the center😝. Delicious, including the crust (not necessarily a given; I couldn't eat the crust in other places). Another positive note is that they don't waste the toppings. My wife had a pizza with Robiola d'Alba, and it had all of Alba inside 🤭🤭 adorable. The two little girls had pizza with fries and sausage, and they arrived already cut into slices with a basket of fries in the middle to arrange as desired... so much stuff. Kudos to the owners for their attention to detail in the ambiance and the food. A few extra euros on the bill are definitely worth it for the QUALITY and abundance of ingredients. 🔝🔝🔝 Another shout-out for the niche beers that I've only ever tasted at your place; I wasn't familiar with them before. Try the Alba IPA 75cl, a delight for the palate!! Well done, well done, what quality!

26/08/2025: What a great restaurant, run by the loveliest family. Outside you enjoy a typical Piedmont view, and inside you sit in a charming old ruin. The family is truly exceptional – wonderful cooking, warm hospitality and great advice on both wine and food. We stayed in the Castello next to the restaurant and were lucky enough to eat here three times. We look back on it with great joy. Grazie!

21/06/2025: È stata una cena squisita sulla terrazza con vista. Siamo partiti da un antipasto leggero di pesce (fettine di spada e tonno) e tortino di melanzane, per passare ai primi dal gusto delicato (gnocchetti e ravioli), a seguire i secondi di carne (brasato e agnello) ma anche il salmone in crosta di sesamo. Abbiamo concluso il tutto con dei desserts ottimi. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo barbera e dalla cortesia e simpatia del proprietario. L'impiattamento molto elegante ci ha permesso di assaporare il cibo dedicandogli il giusto tempo.
