21/04/2025: There were five of us and we had an evening that was hard to beat. Everything was perfect for us: the atmosphere in the old monastery, the food, the service. The ravioli was very good, as was the pasta Cacio e Pepe. The veal cheeks were a poem! The whole atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. A great service that corresponds to the price, but without exaggeration, almost family-like. In addition to the food from the menu, there were delicious amuse gueules, bread, breadsticks and dessert bites (Coperto €4). The wine list is also very nice and the prices are very reasonable for restaurant prices. Depending on the number of courses, you should budget a total of 50 to 70 euros per person (the 4-course menu is 45 euros). As I said, a wonderful evening!

15/04/2025: Recommended by local people, whom we thank for the opportunity given to us, it was a beautiful culinary experience. Traditional dishes composed with wisdom and combinations that you don't expect, such as the fassona tartare with ginger ice cream, fabulous. The owner advised us to pair it with a glass of good Barbera whose scent remained in the glass even if it was empty. Impeccable service and location.

22/05/2025: Local in the center of Acqui, not difficult to find, parking nearby. Nice bright and welcoming place. The staff is polite, helpful and prepared. The dishes are excellent. The bread and breadsticks made by them are good. The wine we had was an excellent Barbera d'Asti of 14.5. The bathrooms are also well-kept as a whole. An experience to repeat.

04/05/2025: We were here today, May 4th, me and 5 of my friends, lunch time, returning from a motorbike trip and we wanted to eat something quick and informal since we then had to continue. We stumbled upon the La Curia wine shop by chance and had a great time. We drank a bottle of Alta Langa white wine from the "Il Coppo" winery, very good, suggested by the owner of the wine shop with an accompaniment of many good and tasty things: various types of omelettes, salami, morsels of cheese with warm focaccia, slices of pizza, in short, we woke up happy and satisfied and all of it, listen, listen, for 10 euros per person!!! If it weren't for the distance, we would go there often!!! Go there and I hope you will be as satisfied as we were.

An enchanting garden that anticipates the entrance into an ancient villa, rich in history, where they certainly host evenings with live music (there is a piano near the entrance). Good service: the owner was kind and treated us kindly. Unfortunately I was disappointed by some dishes which could certainly be made more palatable.

01/05/2025: Young, cheerful atmosphere, wonderful vibes, devastating musical selection. EXCELLENT food there is no denying it, we had two testaroli and a farinata with robiola, two beers, two coffees and two desserts and we spent €65. Very right, neither expensive nor cheap. Ultimately wonderful!

24/03/2025: If you love gorgonzola, I recommend you try the farinata with gorgonzola which melts like a delicious cream between the slices of farinata😋😋😋.

27/02/2025: If you came 15 years ago you ate the exact same pizza... a pizza that doesn't take you to heaven but that you're happy with. The mozzarella is good and the tomato is not excessively salty, you don't get up at night to drink it and it digests well!! It's a pizza that you like to eat every now and then and the price is honest, the owner and the waitress are always kind. My complaint is about the waiting time, an hour and a half for two pizzas, with the place half empty... takeaway is given priority and in my opinion it's not good... whoever is seated is served first also because I pay cover charge and service. If you can't manage all these take-away orders, sometimes just say no! This makes me never want to come back!

22/02/2025: The pizza is normal. The dough was objectively excellent. The environment, however, is cutthroat. Too depressed. Even though the innkeeper knew how to do it.

05/05/2025: Eating terrible tough meat and watered down, tasteless spinach. Expensive for the quality of the food.
