Pleasant surroundings. Good slow food, excellent service, off road parking.
Recommended.
12/10/2025: Very nice place with outdoor parking.
It has a huge outdoor park and two indoor dining rooms, plus some outdoor seating for dining in the right seasons.
The service was quick, and the food was good.
We'll definitely be back, perhaps trying other specialties.

The waitress's attentiveness and kindness were delightful, and even our little dog loved it (this was the first restaurant where they welcomed us with fresh water and meat for him, too).

20/09/2025: Just steps from the Bollente fountain, with tables right on the piazza in the summer. A good selection of Piedmontese dishes and more. A good choice for avoiding touristy spots.
12/09/2025: Excellent experience. We were passing through Acqui Terme on our way back from vacation and ended our meal on a high note at this restaurant in the town's main square. Everything was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The staff were extremely friendly and professional.

29/09/2025: The food was wonderful. Traditional Piedmontese lunch prepared perfectly. The setting was very pleasant and the service was excellent.
25/09/2025: I stumbled upon this charming restaurant by chance and was captivated by the incredibly romantic terrace. So we decided to stop for lunch.
Matteo, the owner, struck me with his manner and his distinctly Genoese accent… his charming jokes and impeccable way of moving among the tables, providing prompt, precise, and unobtrusive service. Excellent 62°C egg with fondue and bagna cauda, beautifully cooked and presented cod, and delicious maltagliati… all washed down with a superb Nizza Riserva.
And finally… finding the Camatti amaro… an unparalleled gem!
Thanks Matteo… we'll see you soon!

12/09/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday, and it was indeed packed.
The menu featured delicious mushroom dishes, but also much more. The service was quick and cheerful; even though it was the second sitting, the owners were cheerful and lively. A truly excellent experience.

Excellent value. They do what they know how, and do it well, and don't pretend to be anything else. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2025: We stayed two nights at this hotel and had a great time! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The linens smelled great, and the room was quiet despite being on the road. It's just a few kilometers from the city center, easily accessible on foot.
28/05/2025: I have been to Gianduia for more than a year for work reasons. Alessandria was managed by Mrs. Renata and her daughter. It was beautiful as a place and everything else.

17/10/2025: We've been visiting this enoteca regularly for many years, enjoying the excellent wine selection and the exceptionally good and varied "Spuntini" (spintini) to go with it.
Once a year, we also come here with our cooking club and were very satisfied with the selection! We could even give it 5 stars.
Unfortunately, the bartender wasn't the same as before and seemed rather dismissive and grumpy. But we were shocked when we got the bill.
Yes, we probably drank about three glasses of wine per person on average. But €40 per person didn't seem entirely reasonable. Even when we bought wine to take home, they tried to charge us different prices than advertised.
All in all, this wasn't a confidence-building measure!
We'll definitely go again, hoping it was just a misunderstanding.
But for that, it only gets 3 stars!
