29/07/2025: Eravamo in 10 e, nonostante la sala fosse vuota, ci hanno messi in uno spazio scomodo e stretto. Nessuna carta dei vini, quindi si ordina alla cieca. Personale poco cordiale (forse giornata no) e tempi d’attesa assurdi: un’ora e mezza per un tagliere. Peccato.

23/07/2025: Campidoglio....a neighborhood that's being reborn, with new venues popping up in the past few years, nestled in period homes that have been reimagined and re-evaluated...Ratatui is one of them...cute, with a lovely courtyard area under a grapevine (mosquitoes aside...but that's fine with this heat), Piedmontese food and more, a few ethnic diversions to blend in with the many locals...well done...the waiters are great, and the owner is superb...a step forward...worth a visit.

25/06/2025: An excellence of the Langhe not to be missed The restaurant "Da Maurizio" in Cravanzana is a true pearl nestled among the Piedmont hills. Each dish is a hymn to tradition, enhanced by raw materials of extraordinary quality, treated with respect and passion. The agnolotti with butter and sage are simply divine: the thin pasta encloses a tasty and delicate filling, enhanced by the simplicity of a classic seasoning that leaves room for the authentic taste of the ingredients. The guinea fowl is tender, juicy and fragrant, cooked to perfection and capable of surprising for its intensity of flavor and lightness at the same time. A dish that conquers at the first bite. The braised meat is a masterpiece: soft meat that melts in the mouth, flavored by a long cooking in wine that enhances every nuance. Rich, enveloping, irresistible. Finally, the rabbit roll is an elegant expression of peasant cuisine revisited with mastery. Tasty but delicate, stuffed with ingredients that blend together perfectly. All this is accompanied by a sincere welcome and a warm and relaxing atmosphere, where you really feel at home. "Da Maurizio" is proof that great cuisine comes from solid roots, excellent ingredients and expert hands that know how to tell stories through flavors. A must-see for those who love to eat well.

29/07/2025: Relax and enjoy. I had the opportunity to stop for an aperitif and everything was perfect. The staff was polite and friendly; the aperitif was plentiful and very tasty at a fair price, and the setting was very well maintained, overlooking Piazza Annunziata in the heart of Venaria Reale's historic center.

18/05/2025: It’s almost a shame to leave a review for L’Bunet, for Emilio and his wonderful hospitality. Because when you discover a place like this, it’s like having come into contact with a precious secret that you would like to keep all to yourself. The dinner with the window overlooking an incredible view of the Langhe is perfect in every aspect: the excellent raw materials, the tasty and light recipes, the wine well recommended by the host, excellent as well. And to follow, after a walk in the village of Bergolo, a night of rest in absolute silence. The breakfast the next day is the perfect farewell, to leave with the desire to return soon. 11/06/2025: A great certainty! Dining with chef Franco is always a pleasure, delights for the palate, every time it is a different sensation, one of a kind. The environment and service put you completely at ease. Absolutely worth trying when you come to Stresa.

06/08/2025: Everything is perfect, a unique pizza, huge, thin, and crispy. EXCELLENT!! A guarantee!! But my ONLY criticism, and I hate to make it, is about the chairs. If you look at the cushions, you'll want to leave. If it weren't for the excellent pizza, I would! The chair cushions are worn, stained, and torn from wear. A simple chair cover would be enough to make sitting more comfortable. I hope this advice will be taken into consideration.

01/08/2025: I stopped for lunch on a road trip: I was welcomed by the owner in an intimate and refined setting. After perusing the menu, I noticed the medium/high prices, which I'm okay with, but considering the culinary quality of the area, I didn't find the food exceptional enough to fully justify them. I'll be honest and tell you that everything was good, but it just lacked that little something extra. The thing that bothered me most, however, was that when it came time to pay, the owner—who I assume made a mistake—charged me about ten euros more than I should have, adding up the menu prices, without a proper itemized bill. For a lunch costing nearly €50 (appetizer, first course, coffee, water, and a glass) that seems like a hefty sum. I paid absentmindedly. At the door, I realized what was odd and wanted to ask for an explanation, but I wasn't allowed to do so because the owner closed the door behind me and pulled down the shutter with Olympic speed. I was the last customer. I could have even knocked on the shutter, I didn't, but if I pass by that area I certainly won't come back.

13/07/2025: Enchanting Agriturismo in Monferrato. Four of us stayed (2 adults and 2 children). It was amazing to sleep in a castle, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, featuring local products. We also had the option of half-board: dinner was excellent. The lady who runs the Agriturismo is very kind and friendly. The swimming pool surrounded by greenery is also worth a visit. Recommended for families!

12/07/2025: This is a truly unique experience different from your every day hotel experience. You get to live inside an old castle that holds just three rooms serviced by lovely Paola. That being said expectations need to be aligned — bring snacks etc before you arrive, this place is in the middle of nowhere :-) We had the pool for ourselves and went for a beautiful walk around the win yards in the afternoon finished at the winery for some tastings and great wine to take home.

01/08/2025: Don't miss it! The concept of this restaurant is to serve pasta dishes to share between two. Being four friends with different tastes, we ordered three different dishes and shared them. It was super friendly, and above all, delicious! The desserts were also very good. The owner (I assume?) spoke excellent French and English, which was great considering our limited Italian. 😅 And the service was fast.

27/07/2025: Another gem! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The owner (I think) was very nice and professional - we only had to look his way and he came right over. He also spoke perfect english, much appreciated (since we know very little Italian). The food (we had classic bolognese for two) was delicious and tasted very genuine. Highly recommended!

14/07/2025: We stayed at this farmhouse on July 8, 2025. It's a very beautiful place, especially surrounded by nature and in complete tranquility. The rooms and environment are clean and well-kept, the owners are very kind. Highly recommended.
