03/05/2025: Nice little restaurant, very characteristic, it is an old stable of Fort Exilles. We stopped here with our friends during a motorbike weekend. Matteo, Martina and mother Monica are really nice and welcoming people. Really great food. Super recommended. We hope to return soon

30/05/2025: I wish I could leave a better review, unfortunately I had such a disappointing experience at Bastimento.. from the reservation to leaving the table, a series of unfortunate mistakes from the staff. The oysters and great, I would go back just for them, nothing else.
In my opinion Bastimento is -very- overpriced for what it offers. I am usually happy to pay for a nice dinner, when what we get in return is satisfying.

26/05/2025: Returning to this place after many years, we found the owner and chef who explained his philosophy and the research of the products he puts in his dishes and I must say that it was worth it to travel a few km to come and taste and appreciate the dishes, from the appetizers to the dessert: a 10 and praise for the trofie with cuttlefish ink and the ravioli with fish filling seasoned with fresh porcini mushrooms and prawns.. compliments to all the staff

15/06/2025: We went to dinner last night with the intention of tasting country meals in Mornese, but we were disappointed by the portions, the lasagna plate was less than a McDonald's sandwich. Remember that the location does not allow you to park your car near the bar.

The dishes are traditional but carefully prepared and made with skill and some innovation.
For wines there is an interesting selection which also includes well-recommended and paired natural wines.

Cucina di montagna veramente deliziosa, polenta top e prezzi davvero onesti per la zona. Consigliato, posto sia dentro che fuori (con vista sulle montagne).

23/05/2025: Fantastic food, fresh and quality. Young and prepared guys, super kind. We tried the croissant-cannoli for breakfast with juice or cappuccino, their first courses or salads for lunch and finally the aperitif, the best I have ever had with a super cutting board. Excellent prices and variety of croissants in the morning, very good dishes, thought out, which really give the idea of the love and dedication they put into their work. Beautiful interiors with large outdoor area. Highly recommended!!
23/05/2025: Great guys. Very nice and always in a good mood. They know how to welcome customers and how to pamper them from breakfast, to lunch, to aperitif. The best croissants in town. Sensational aperitifs. Excellent lunches and reasonable prices. In short, if you don't come and try it, you don't know what you're missing!! Jessica, Nicolas and Giada are now synonymous with home for our family.
