17/05/2025: Locale semplice e pulito in un piccolo paesino della valle; camerieri gentili e disponibili, soprattutto i padroni di casa, particolarmente attenti e simpatici! Ma la vera protagonista del locale è la carne (senza nulla togliere alla pizza) cotta nel forno, molto lentamente…mi rendo conto che i tempi di attesa per una bistecca siano un po’ più lunghi, ma dietro non c’è una disorganizzazione del personale , semplicemente una scelta studiata, per offrire al cliente una carne di qualità, cotta al punto giusto, ma soprattutto calda al cuore se piace al sangue come piace a me. Graditissime le due salse proposte, per condire la carne, ma che spalmate sul pane sono super golose ed il tagliere di ben venuto per rompere l’attesa. Ottimi anche i dolci, rigorosamente homemade. Bravissimo Alessandro e tutto il suo staff!

06/08/2025: Everything is perfect, a unique pizza, huge, thin, and crispy. EXCELLENT!! A guarantee!! But my ONLY criticism, and I hate to make it, is about the chairs. If you look at the cushions, you'll want to leave. If it weren't for the excellent pizza, I would! The chair cushions are worn, stained, and torn from wear. A simple chair cover would be enough to make sitting more comfortable. I hope this advice will be taken into consideration.

30/07/2025: A very welcoming restaurant and pizzeria. There were six of us, and we started with really good appetizers: the spicy mussels and the "Classic m'pepata." The pizzas have a delicious dough and top-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and professional. It was our first time here, and we'll definitely be back. Recommended!

12/07/2025: Stopped by at 4:30 PM on Saturday and found it closed even though it's supposed to be open all day. No sign on Maps or on the door.

03/08/2025: We had two delicious meals at this charming, cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere. They serve a delicious hamburger with fresh fries, and the homemade tortello was also a hit. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu. In short, a must-try in Capalbio.

27/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance during a trip to Capalbio, intrigued by the fact it was under new management. What can I say... what a wonderful surprise! The menu is simple yet thoughtful, with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients. We tried several dishes: tender and flavorful tagliata, generous and well-filled meat sandwiches, and a mixed antipasto that deserves a special mention—among the many options, the homemade sauces stood out, all delicious and unique. The restaurant is welcoming, informal, yet tasteful, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable: they passionately explained the origins of the meats and the various preparations. Highly recommended, whether for a dinner with friends or a gourmet stop on a trip. Finally, a new place in Capalbio we'll happily return to!

In a place called "l'Astoria da Mauro" I expect at least some reference to the USTA (it's not that I want the Astoria di Udine, but at least a t-shirt or something...) but above all "da Mauro"... one expects to see MERE of the UDA, or at least one of his VERY NICE goliardic writings, but nothing, not even half a Masaniello...

20/07/2025: For dinner to celebrate my birthday, I chose this place reviewed by Raspelli, expecting something extra, but... that something is much less. We start with the table set with paper placemats, like butcher's rugs, paper cutlery and napkins, and water glasses, one of which is visibly chipped. They took our order, specifying that we should be very careful because I'm allergic to rabbit, which is part of the evening's menu. Overall, the quality of the food is good, but the service is a little less so. There must have been problems in the kitchen, because for a dish that included prawns, they kept bringing out salmon slices with orange juice (but why not tell the waiters that the prawns are no longer available?). The place is also a wine bar. We order a glass of ruche and are given the dregs of a bottle. At the start of the evening at 8:00 PM, providing the dregs of a bottle that had been opened who knows when doesn't exactly look good. Price: €70 for two appetizers, a first course, a second course, a tiny dessert, a glass of wine, and a bottle of water. The indoor location is the ricetto, while the outdoor area is a section of the piazza used as an outdoor terrace. I'll leave that up to you to decide.

15/07/2025: The restaurant is located in a small town with parking nearby. The outdoor seating is lovely, but the interior is also very stylishly decorated. The staff is very friendly. The well-stocked menu and wine selections are well explained. The food is freshly prepared and tastes exceptionally delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Small snacks are always served with the aperitifs. Excellent value for money.

13/07/2025: The restaurant is aesthetically beautiful but the service could have been improved. We waited 15 minutes for 3 pizzas and 20 minutes for a Canolo ice cream but the pizza was delicious.

19/07/2025: The restaurant is decorated in a vintage style. The table setting is very beautiful and well-presented, even including a dessert fork. Service is average. The appetizers were good, although there wasn't much jam. The first courses were very interesting; it's a shame the ravioli didn't taste very good. The tiramisu cheesecake was good. The appetizers were a bit pricey, but the first courses were more than reasonable. A very positive note: we didn't pay a cover charge.

14/05/2025: Intimate, typical trattoria-style place near the center of Volvera. Really good food. With honest prices considering the times we live in. I was really satisfied especially with how I ate, typical home cooking. I will definitely go back. Very kind and cheerful staff.
