18/06/2025: Ho provato un aperitivo analcolico; molto delicato, servito con patatine e tre piattini raffinati. Forse avrei messo meno ghiaccio nel cocktail. Ambiente elegante in centro ad Alessandria. Lo consiglio e sicuramente ci tornerò per provare i piatti della cucina.

The staff has always been friendly and attentive to the needs of the customers. The menu offers a great variety of dishes. I have tried several dishes and each time I have been satisfied with the presentation and the taste. Family-run restaurant that certainly makes the difference. The service has always been fast and efficient, with a staff that has proven to be very professional and courteous. Quiet atmosphere and always friendly staff. Highly recommended restaurant. The quality-price ratio is excellent and the service has always been impeccable.

09/05/2025: Ordered 2 pizzas yesterday, cost 13.5 euros, same pizzas today 16.5 euros!! Among other things, after more than an hour of waiting, I call, they say they came but no one answered....speechless!

02/06/2025: Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aber gewisse Abzüge in der kulinarischen Ausgestaltung. Das Lokal ist sehr schön, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich habe das vollständige Degustationsmenü gewählt. Vorweg: Es ist seinen Preis wert. Und trotzdem hat es mich nicht vollständig überzeugt. Häufig ist in den einzelnen Gängen etwas zu viel.. sei es an der Menge (z.B. beim Gruss aus der Küche oder beim warmen Voressen oder dann an der Menge an Brot - das grenzt an Lebensmittelverschwendung...) oder an den verschiedenen Fleischkonstellationen (z.B. beim warmen Voressen). Der Blaukäse war toll, aber so intensiv, dass er bis in den süssen Nachtisch hinein präsent war (Zabaione). Dieses wiederum war hervorragend, falls man es auf das Zabione aus der Pfanne begrenzt hätte (all das bunte Süsszeug auf dem Teller war eigentlich unnötig und hat von der Essenz des Zabiones abgelenkt). Ähnlich war es beim warmen Voressen... der Apfel in den Voltini (oder was es war) hätte einen saureren Geschmack haben dürfen. Noch einmal: Das war ein sehr schöner kulinarischer Abend und er war es wert. Aber ich wünsche der Küche mehr Fokus auf den reinen Geschmack...

20/06/2025: Our last evening in Torino and it was the best. We didn’t have language issue as the youngest member of this team (it is a family run restaurant) helped us explain all those food options available tonight, in detail, including recommendations based on our dietary needs (one of us is vegetarian). Seating indoor and outdoor (in private backyard and not on the street) are very agreeable. Taste, reflective of quality and freshness was par excellence. Only one surprise (a pleasant one) was that besides all the good things about Piola Da Celso, the expense was way far below our expectations.

27/05/2025: The experience at Retrò was not the best, especially for those with dietary requirements such as gluten-free. Having no alternative sandwiches, I had to order a burger with a scottona dish, which unfortunately arrived overcooked and lukewarm. The side fries were dry and almost cold, a sign of little attention in the kitchen. Despite everything, the dish was still charged at full price: €15 for a “sandwich without bread” is not a small amount at all. The only positive note was the presence of an Italian gluten-free craft beer, which I appreciated. There is certainly room for improvement, both in the offer and in the service. My partner's gin and tonic arrived with very melted ice and without even a slice of lime or lemon, paid €9.50

15/06/2025: Excellent pizzeria, more Cilentan than Neapolitan...with the innovation of the pizza rolled out with a rolling pin...a novelty...obviously on request you can also have the classic Neapolitan pizza with a high edge...good prices if compared to the quality....service not exactly optimal...but..in many places it's like that nowadays...

15/03/2025: I took the Pizza d due babba. super super super. quality ingredients. Pizza devoured in a minute. finally a non-acidic sauce but it seems homemade. all GOOD. Let me start by saying that it took me a max of 10 minutes to walk from the Pizzeria to my house and the Pizza was still hot. well! I won't tell you about the babba with the ricotta cream 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 it will be my go-to Pizzeria

01/06/2025: Second time I return to this restaurant and it was even better than the first, this little place is a corner of paradise out of this world. Very original menu, rich and taking care of seasonality. There were 4 of us, we took 2 tasting menus and 6 a la carte dishes, everything really delicious! Very professional and elegant service. I can't wait to go back!

25/05/2025: Excellent vegan restaurant in San Biagio, a small hamlet of Mondovì. Tasting menu or à la carte, dishes prepared with seasonal and organic ingredients. We had a very good lunch in the outdoor area under umbrellas. Excellent value for money. Kind and helpful staff.

29/03/2025: Pranzo di lavoro, per necessità molto veloce, servizio buono, purtroppo la pasta ripiena è stata portata in tavola troppo cotta. Peccato, le aspettative erano molto alte.
