15/05/2025: Courtesy, friendliness and professionalism: what more could you want? Lunch stop with excellent (and abundant) dishes. I wanted to order a pizza then I decided to try the fixed menu and never was a better choice.

10/05/2025: After a huge walk I stop here for lunch. Milanese with potatoes, beer and stuffed peaches (which I love)). Everything was excellent and homemade... something that is absolutely not to be taken for granted by now. Well done! I'll be back

16/04/2025: Midweek dinner with friends, always looking for historic restaurants. In Centallo in the lower Piedmont area this place from times gone by. Nothing modern just the scent of ancient times and good food. Warm, almost familiar welcome, happy to see us, well aware that we came from far away. Small entree and immediately the main dish: risotto with brown stock. Unspeakable, unparalleled, just good, good, a caress for the palate. Second a very simple tripe gratinated in the oven. What can I say, these two dishes are already worth the trip. Great wine list and great passion of the owners: the chef and his lady in the dining room. A compliment to them for their tenacity and exquisite hospitality. Well done

28/05/2025: Clean, welcoming place with ample parking nearby. Very good pizzas. Light, digestible dough with fresh, quality ingredients! We will return to try the cuisine since the menu was very inspiring.

17/05/2025: The pizza is good, and the prices are normal, the place is on two floors... I had pizza with mortadella and pistachios, it was delicious.

09/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding on Saturday 7th June, Davide and Oscar with all the staff were fantastic, excellent food, wines, the location much appreciated by the guests who came from the south. What can I say... thank you so much for everything

05/06/2025: Been for 2 different occasions. The place is very nice because it has a well-kept garden outside with fountains and a playground for children, so it's great for families. It's a restaurant where special occasions are celebrated such as communions, baptisms and probably also weddings. The food is good and the staff is also very kind. Being a place like this and with so many people to serve (I think there were 400 of us in total the day I went recently) between communions, confirmations and various birthdays, the table service is very long. We sat at the table around 1.15pm (first they served us an aperitif outside) and at 5pm we were only at the second course 😅. Overall it's a good restaurant

02/05/2025: Se siete in giro in Monferrato con moto , bici, a piedi ecc. una tappa all'Ostu è d'obbligo. Abbiamo trovato questo angolo di piacere per caso, locale piccolo molto carino arredato con gusto. Accoglienza perfetta disponibili e gentilissimi, pochi piatti per lo più della tradizione preparati con cura e con prodotti ottimi. Una fortuna aver trovato questo posto. Prezzi contenuti. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo

25/05/2025: Finally a lactose-free ice cream with special and delicious flavors! I tried the "ricotta and caramelized figs" and I fell in love! Very kind and helpful staff, friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend it to those who, like me, suffer from lactose intolerance and want to enjoy a delicious ice cream far from the usual flavors ♥️

22/10/2024: We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the San Carlo. The hotel is cozy and clean. In the evening we had an outstanding “Tartufo Experience” menu. You can tell how much love and appreciation goes into cooking here. The ingredients were local and fresh, everything was beautifully prepared and served with a top wine recommendation. Paola and Carlo are warm hosts, you immediately feel welcome and in good hands.

10/04/2025: Caffè delle Masche offered me a great experience. The milk wand was always clean, the cappuccino had a velvety milk cream and no bubbles. The homemade cake was delicious and the croissant fragrant. Although the owner may seem a bit grumpy and table service is not provided, the environment is welcoming and refined, far from the idea of ​​the classic village bar. It seemed like a place where quality and atmosphere meet perfectly.

25/12/2024: Small welcoming bar, just like the very nice owner, who organizes events such as themed evenings or karaoke. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor area and offers average prices. Good aperitif. Special note for the owner's beautiful cat, the true master of the place, who adds a touch of friendliness to the atmosphere!

13/05/2025: Food good enough but expensive, unacceptable quality/price ratio, even more so in a working-class village society where you expect to find more affordable prices. Whoever reads should evaluate the prices by looking at the receipt. Wine only by the glass from 4 euros up, or by the bottle but cheaper wines sold out. Place completely empty, rushed service that doesn't leave time to read the menu. In short, in 40 minutes we had dinner and left. Never to return.
