11/10/2025: Want to try real fried mixed seafood? Then you've come to the right place.

11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).

10/11/2025: Amatriciana is something perfect. Pasta bolognese ok. The prices of those two dishes and grappa are more than fair. The only downside is the high price of a small portion of mushrooms (not truffles) which for some reason costs as much as a whole meal

10/11/2025: The owner's professionalism and quality of ingredients are top-notch. Excellent table service, with the owner being extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Traditional Ascoli dishes and a good selection of local wines. Highly recommended!

25/12/2025: The food sucks!! Four pieces of fried calamari cost €20, and you also have to pay €3 per person for the service charge. And you use low-quality paper napkins. And the spaghetti with clams cost €18, using lupini beans, not real clams. This restaurant is a thief!!! I don't recommend this restaurant and I'll never go back!!!

13/09/2025: A special evening in a special place!!! There are places where you go for food or a drink, and then there are places like this, where you return for the experience, the people, the atmosphere. This pub (which is much more than just a pub) is one of those rare places where you feel welcomed like an old friend, even if it's your first time. Every dish, served with surprising speed, spoke of the care and passion the staff puts into every detail. The flavors were authentic, bold but never banal, and accompanied by an excellent selection of drinks that demonstrates careful and thoughtful research. But what really makes this place special is the genuine kindness of those who work there. It's hard to find such a sincere welcome these days, made not just of smiles, but of small gestures that make you feel important, recognized, at home. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the staff, not only for the wonderful evening, but also for the gift they gave us: an unexpected and precious thought that we will carry with us. 25/12/2025: I'm lactose intolerant and let them know several days in advance. I went there for a fixed-menu holiday banquet, and they were both kind and organized, offering lactose- and dairy-free food. Instead of dessert, they brought me a lactose-free three-scoop ice cream. The food was also very good, handcrafted by them. Very satisfied, thanks guys! (The price is average, because I flagged banquet, which is different from a regular day or weekend.)

02/01/2026: We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday with a dinner with friends and family, even booking a superior room. The location was charming, and the food was quality, with table service. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The manager was attentive to our every need. Our guests were pleasantly surprised. We recommend it.

08/12/2025: Beautiful property in an excellent location, both in terms of landscape and road connections (though I'm not sure if it's the right place for those who plan to travel by public transport: a car or motorbike is necessary). Extremely kind and helpful staff. Very nice and spotlessly clean rooms. Excellent quality of services offered. We would suggest improving the breakfast a little, in terms of the variety of pastries and the quality of baked goods.

11/12/2025: This restaurant, located on the picturesque streets of Ascoli Piceno's historic center, is welcoming, well-maintained, and clean. Kudos to the staff, who, despite their young age, are professional, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Among the various à la carte options, there are tasting menus that include an appetizer (with a wide selection of options), a first course, and a second course, the latter of which are fixed weekly. Among the appetizers, the beef tartare (the quality of the meat is excellent) and the fried egg with truffle shavings stand out. This is a complex process that requires patience and great technical skill. The first and second courses of the day are worthy of the occasion, with pumpkin and sausage gnocchi and a tender, well-cooked braised beef, while the selection of local and regional wines is also decent. Prices are astonishing for the setting and the quality of the food and wine experience offered. I think that for anyone who happens to be wandering around Ascoli Piceno, stopping by is an opportunity not to be missed.

14/12/2025: A very interesting place, offering traditional tastings of a coffee blend that has remained unchanged for 65 years (2025). If you're looking for a modern atmosphere, forget it. The owners don't seek consensus or follow trends, they simply pursue their own unique style.
