I have eaten and drank in this cellar many times, cuisine attentive to seasonality and typicality, original without esotericism, traditional without banality. The wines are a guarantee, unbeatable value for money, ideal for those who want to taste traditional flavours, dare some new combinations and perhaps buy excellent wines to take away. Everything above average including the location.

31/12/2024: Allora, sono andato per il cenone di fine anno, mangiare diciamo discreto per le persone che c’erano, a fine serata però le frivolezze offerte al bar…. Na me3rda!!! Lu panettone a tozzi e gli amari a pagamento con una figa che metteva un timbro su un foglietto bianco e si metteva i soldi in cassa a nero senza scontrino, non me l’aspettavo da una posto del genere, mi sono incantato a guardarla mentre timbrava quei foglietti, na figa mostruosa!!!

07/01/2025: I am truly sorry to give this place a negative review given that I have been a customer since it opened, especially because the guys who work there are really fantastic, but... the prices have really increased dramatically without regulating themselves. You can't charge 10 EUROS for two crodini and it's really too much but too exaggerated! I've never seen two crodini cost so much, wherever I've gone! I understand the costs and everything but this is really exaggerated! I have also noticed an increase in price over the last year for cocktails and aperitifs. I'm sorry I won't return to this place again but at these prices I'll stay away.

12/02/2025: During a walk in Monferrato, we had lunch in this excellent restaurant which offers typical and truly pleasant cuisine. The veal with tuna sauce was delicious, and the desserts superb. A culinary experience not to be missed!

26/01/2025: Dated restaurant, dated menu, dated waiters, the place was semi empty, for a midweek lunch you can't keep 3 workers sitting for an hour and a half with a work menu, we had eaten who knows what...

05/01/2025: A very pleasant discovery. As soon as we entered we were immediately greeted by the owner of unique kindness who made us feel at home throughout the evening. You can see that he puts his heart into what he does. The cuisine in this small trattoria is delicious: there is no shortage of authentic and genuine flavours, excellent portions, and meat cooked on the stove. The top of the top. Highly recommended. We'll be back soon.

15/03/2025: It's okay that the Inn is imperfect, but here it goes too far. Everything seemed to be going very well, when faced with a very salty pappardella, the owner offered to remake the dish, despite I told him it wasn't important, but he insisted. And then? He literally rinsed my pappardelle and brought them back to me, cold, without even bothering to drain them well. What can I say?

15/03/2025: Va bene che la Locanda è imperfetta, ma qui si esagera. Sembrava andasse tutto benissimo, quando davanti ad una pappardella salatissma, il proprietario si è offerto di rifare il piatto, nonostante gli avessi detto che non era importante, ma lui ha insistito. E poi? Mi ha letteralmente sciacquato le pappardelle e me le ha riportate, fredde, senza neanche preoccuparsi di scolarle bene. Che dire?

25/01/2025: Sabato a pranzo, menu 25 € previsto antipasto e un primo. Antipasto uova strapazzata e una bruschetta al tartufo non male. Primo Tonnarello al tartufo completamente senza sapore con acqua di cottura nel piatto. Servizio lentissimo. I vicini di tavolo dopo mezz’ora che nessuno si è presentato per prendere l’ordine se ne sono andati.
