17/04/2026: The place isn't huge, but it's immaculately clean. The quality is far superior to many other pastry shops in Ascoli Piceno. The cookies are crumbly, with hazelnut and pistachio cream fillings, and so on, of the highest quality—not like the industrial ones we find in traditional croissants. I truly hope this pastry shop endures and makes great strides, because it truly deserves it... Good luck!

12/04/2026: We chose this restaurant by chance while strolling around Ascoli Piceno in the evening, and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery. The owners are truly welcoming, the food is excellent, and the prices are fair. Highly recommended!

11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).

15/04/2026: The atmosphere is nice, but for a medium-high priced seafood restaurant, you'd expect more from the food and service. We occasionally found dirty glasses all over, especially one we asked to change—but they should have been changed all over... the same goes for the plate, one of which was really dirty. The food is good but not the best, especially the cold appetizers; they're plentiful, but they left much to be desired. There's nothing to complain about regarding the quantity; the portions are generous, and the full menus are relatively reasonable. The first courses and the fried fish (literally 1 meter) are really good, and are the restaurant's strong points. I highly recommend it if you're planning on eating first courses or fried seafood; I don't recommend the full menu, despite the reasonable price, unless you want to try a bit of everything. The washing and cleanliness of the plates and glasses, as well as the quality of the appetizers, could definitely be improved. The waiter is friendly, but given the size of the restaurant, he's alone.

20/12/2025: This place was a surprise...I'd heard about it for years but had never been there...the location is beautiful, the restaurant is gorgeous and the food is excellent, even the Christmas decorations are very beautiful! I'll be back!

16/12/2025: After so many years, I still found the staff incredibly courteous and professional, but above all, wonderfully clean. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant and wine cellar were also quite good.

20/02/2026: I've ordered pizza from La Gustosa several times, and I continue to do so for one simple reason: it never disappoints. The pizza is truly good. Light dough, well-cooked, and easy to digest. The toppings are generous but never heavy. It's one of those pizzas you're happy to finish and never feel overwhelmed. One thing I really appreciate is the punctuality: when you order, you know it will arrive on time. The staff is friendly, direct, and always polite. You can sense their organization and consistency.

06/10/2025: We stayed here for a few nights in the second half of September. We received a very friendly welcome. The spacious pool with a magnificent view was already quite cold. We rented bikes and explored the beautiful surroundings. A wonderful area for sporty cyclists, or those with e-bikes.

08/12/2025: What a wonderful surprise!!! I ordered through Deliveroo, and the service was incredibly fast even though I ordered around 9:00 PM! I ordered a capricciosa and a Norcina, medium-sized fries, and a ham and mozzarella calzone: it was truly a wonderful discovery!!!! The calzone was incredibly large and stuffed for only €3! The thin-crust pizzas were easy to digest but packed with toppings! This is how you make pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!😍😍😍😍 Guys, try the Nutella calzone! They offered it as a free gift with my order!!!!! I'll be ordering from them again!!!! I highly recommend it!!!

15/04/2026: Really nice place, good food, and helpful, smiling staff (almost everyone smiles). The only downside at lunchtime is the wait: it's always crowded with workers and other laborers, so there's a bit of a wait. Recommended.

08/03/2026: I have nothing to say about the quality of the food and the top-quality products used, but the service is lacking. My girlfriend and I had dinner there, and as soon as we arrived, the waiter spilled a spritz on us. I honestly expected them to offer it at least to cover the cost of the laundry, but no, the maître d' decided that way! As for the rest, as I said, congratulations on the quality... I'm amending my review since the last time I ordered takeout, the pizza chef made an extra one because the crust on the maxi pizza wasn't quite right. Congratulations on your attention to detail and customer service. Otherwise, I stand by what I wrote above a year later: the ingredients and quality are always top-notch!
