06/10/2025: Magnificent experience! Culinary, friendly, natural, delicious, generous! We even brought back leftovers for another meal! Everything was provided! Wine, water, no lids! 40 euros, a bargain for the quality and quantity!

22/09/2025: We had dinner at Pecora Nera, and it was all delicious!! Fixed menu with appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, side dishes, gelato, cake, coffee, water, and wine included!! I absolutely recommend it! It's worth it.

22/09/2025: Valtellina cuisine isn't suited to Mediterranean stomachs. The venison was well-cooked, the wine drinkable, the service friendly, and the pine forest all around. Aurelio, the innkeeper, even lent us the key to Don Guanella's house, now a museum, so we could visit. Very kind people, a wonderful experience. It's a shame it will all be over in a few days...

03/10/2025: Oh my word! What an amazing Gem of a restaurant to find in Northern Italy. We all know how good the Italians are at doing food, but when they combine that with a heartfelt welcome, fabulous tasting food and a genuine passion for sharing their talent for making your meal the best it can be, you know you are in for a treat. A restaurant that has been serving great food for 42 years and continues to be excited at the prospect of entertaining new guests realy has to be on your bucket list. Introduced to an amazing red wine that went with every course and polished off with a grappa from the same grape, combined to produce a fabulous evening. 01/10/2025: The restaurant is very close to the Retici Balzi Wine Hotel. I had an appetizer of typical Valtellina cured meats and sciatt. For my first course, I had pizzoccheri, and I must say I was very satisfied. The view and location are beautiful, and the service is very friendly—a truly beautiful mountain restaurant!

30/08/2025: Beautiful hotel in the pedestrian area of ​​Livigno. Wonderful welcome, the staff were incredibly kind and, above all, extremely helpful with everything. Excellent food, a delight for our palates. We've been staying in our beloved Livigno for many years, but I must say we've never eaten so well in any hotel. The raw materials were of the highest quality... we truly touched excellence! The bar and restaurant staff were extremely kind, helpful, and even very funny. The wellness center is a little gem... small but with everything you need: a pool, whirlpool, various saunas, an ice fountain, and a relaxation area. The spa staff was very professional... she frequently came into the sauna area to check on guests and see if anything was missing... very good and attentive. The owners were always present at the hotel for a chat with guests. I'll conclude this review with just one word: "COMPLIMENTS." Highly recommended!

03/10/2025: We ate at this beautiful place for the first time on my birthday. What can I say? It's truly a beautiful, well-kept, clean, and quaint place. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and available to answer any questions and offer advice on the food. We ordered several items to try as many dishes as possible...the inevitable pizzoccheri, fabulous risotto with bresaola and bitto, a stunning cold cuts and cheese platter, sciatt (my favorite dish) among the best I've ever eaten, and then the polenta taragna, to die for, all washed down with the truly delicious house wine. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough dessert because the portions are so generous. I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, loves Valtellina and its traditional dishes. I'll definitely be back soon. I'm curious to try the other dishes, which looked really inviting. So, see you soon, and thanks again for everything.

Nor is it a given to find yourself in an environment where the courtesy of Luca, Carolina, and Alessia lets you savor the dishes with genuine pleasure. We ate very well, yes, but we also had fun. 13/09/2025: Excellent traditional restaurant at 2,000 meters above sea level. Magnificent view of Livigno. The saddle of venison with polenta was delicious. Truly tender and perfectly cooked. Friendly and attentive service. Good prices and in line with the quality.

12/10/2025: October 11, 2025 - What can I say! We'd been to this place before, and yet they managed to amaze us once again! We celebrated my wife's birthday and found quality, courtesy, expertise, professionalism, and a truly warm welcome. We felt like we were part of a family! Thank you!

09/10/2025: The best restaurant in all of Valtellina!! Delicious dishes with traditional ingredients, organized and friendly staff. The atmosphere is serene with lots of decorations, the price is quite fair, and the view (from the balcony) is beautiful.

11/10/2025: It's a must-try during stays in Alta Valtellina. Sciatt are the classic, unmissable appetizer, followed by a good first or second course of meat. On the other hand, the pizza 🍕 isn't among my favorites.

20/09/2025: The food is delicious! The weekend set menu is very generous. Unfortunately, we arrived late, but the staff was very understanding and managed to accommodate us for lunch anyway.

24/08/2025: We went to La Selva restaurant to celebrate a family birthday. The location was stunning and the cuisine excellent: carefully prepared, tasty, and high-quality dishes. Compliments to the chef. The only downside was that at 10:15 PM (having started at 8:00 PM with a multi-course set menu), we were asked to pay and leave, which ruined the evening's atmosphere.
