13/04/2025: We discovered this takeaway pizzeria not long ago, but it has since become a regular weekly fixture! Excellent pizza, thin and digestible, possibility of wholemeal dough, I have always called even at the last minute and the guys have always been kind in taking the order and very punctual with delivery! Satisfied 😊

26/04/2025: Honestly, quite a disappointing place, it looks like an excellent place with fried foods and foods that are not only local and from the surrounding area, but also of high quality. But after eating it I had to change my mind. Except for the enormous quantity of dishes on the menu that are not available (at 1pm you can't help but have more than 3 dishes available), paying 9 euros for a sandwich with a lettuce leaf, a slice of ham and 7 slices of sweet mustard (almost revolting given how sweet it was) together with 7 euros for 2 chips I think is bordering on a rip-off, to break a chord in their favor some dishes were truly incredible, like the fried fish and the salted caramel ice cream, but far too many dishes are not up to the price, especially the quantity, really scarce even if it were gourmet. I won't say anything about the sweet salami which was truly shameful (5 cm of salami with a diameter of half a centimeter, hot and buttery all for 5 euros). Almost poor but lots of room for improvement, I recommend reviewing the portions and proportions of the ingredients in the dishes as the quality of them is very high, but poorly used.

26/04/2025: The environment is very nice, in Italian 60s style and this makes the place very welcoming. The sandwiches are tasty and "crispy", as the name of the place suggests. Good starters but perhaps the quantities could be improved considering the prices. Nice place for a quiet evening with friends or as a couple. Service ok.

10/04/2025: Very good pizza, with always abundant and quality toppings. The choice is wide and creative, and the attention paid to selecting the ingredients is noticeable: each slice is rich and tasty, which makes each pizza truly tasty and satisfying. The prices are fair, in line with what is offered, and the portions are also generous. The only flaw that I have found more than once is the dough: sometimes it happens to arrive a little too soft or slightly raw in the center, especially with the more stuffed pizzas. Furthermore, delivery times are not always punctual: often there is a delay of up to 15-20 minutes compared to the expected time, which can be annoying if you are hungry or have planned dinner in a certain way. Overall, however, Il Mago remains one of the best pizzerias in the area: I will gladly return and recommend it, hoping that with some improvements in dough and punctuality it can easily deserve the 5 stars.

21/05/2025: I recommend that on an order of about 25 euros you save on the cardboard for one of the two pizzas. Customers love to enjoy pieces of paper with the mozzarella.

03/06/2025: Small rooms with limited space, but clean, without air conditioning or mosquito nets (given the location in the countryside ...). Bathroom maintenance needed due to the toilet cassette that works and does not work ... and encrusted shower that should be replaced. There were disturbing shouts, songs and voices until late at night in the hotel bar, considering that for climate needs you could not do without keeping the window open, it was very annoying. Basic Italian breakfast: croissant, biscuit, coffee / cappuccino / juice. All for 90 euros per room. Honestly I consider the quality / price not suitable. The staff very kind and helpful, nothing to say. I'm sorry, but despite this, I do not feel like recommending the hotel.

30/03/2025: Tragedy hotel, a robbery. Small, dirty rooms. Awkward bathroom. Noise until late at night coming from their restaurant downstairs. Zero comfort.

27/04/2025: Pausa pranzo ottima! Ambiente caldo, accogliente e informale. Se ci andate provate come dolce il vulcano, una specie di panna cotta ricoperta di arachidi e poi sopra potete metterci la salsa che preferite! Rapporto qualità-prezzo molto buona!

13/04/2025: Ottima pizza e ottimi dolci. Sia il proprietario che il personale gentilissimi. Finalmente una pizza che non ti mette sete! I prodotti sono di ottima qualità, impasto eccellente e ottimo equilibrio negli ingredienti. Lo consiglio vivamente sia come ristorante che come pizzeria.

19/05/2025: I was at the inauguration before Easter 2025. Great party with a large aperitif full of delicacies. I also stopped for dinner. Well-prepared local cuisine, excellent risottos TOP!! The desserts are balanced and well presented. The choice of wines is also good. Reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

13/05/2025: Very beautiful location in the greenery, with ample parking and the possibility of spending time outdoors. The service was so-so...dirty and stained glasses, service and professionalism to be reviewed...but the food was very good. Another precaution, on the wine list, I recommend improving it by inserting the cellar, the place of origin and the grapes... without leaving red wine... what do you mean?

26/01/2025: Historic pub in the Montebello shopping centre, it is located under the multiplex cinema. It has a large room, the tables are arranged close to each other, personally I don't like it very much, little privacy. Clean environment, reasonably fast service, quality and price in line with the venue.

16/05/2025: Mangiato 2 pizze 1 birra media 1 bottiglia piccola di acqua 2 caffè, dal menù non quadra il conto di 35 €. Sarebbe opportuno fare un foglietto al momento dell'ordine sul tavolo per avere il riscontro col menù. Occhio

05/05/2025: Conosco la signora Rita sin da bambina. Ci siamo sempre trovati molti bene. Colazione, pranzo, pizza o cena, si mangia molto bene, ma soprattutto porzioni abbondanti. I prezzi non sono altissimi Purtroppo posso solo pubblicare due foto dei suoi dolci davvero buonissimi. Noi avendo la casa vicino a Varzi, dal lontano 1978, passare dalla signora Rita, anche per un caffè, è d'obbligo

29/05/2025: Locale carino e accogliente. Cibo buono, porzioni giuste, prezzo ragionevole, personale preparato. Lo consiglio, specialmente a pranzo.

13/05/2025: sono stata a pranzo con amici Domenica 11 Maggio, sono rimasta soddisfattissima sia per il cibo, davvero ottimo, che per la gentilezza assoluta della proprietaria .. camerieri professionali e attenti Era pienissimo ma nonostante questo abbiamo atteso poco.. piatti ben preparati, ossibuchi e risotto da urlo, Pisarei e Fasò buonissimi.. vino buono, dolci pure.. Luogo facile da raggiungere, parcheggio ampio... Abito lontano ma tornerò di sicuro.. Pavia nel cuore

01/05/2025: Scoperto percaso, stavamo andando a fare una degustazione nel oltrepo'; visto il parcheggio pieno ci siamo detti qui si deve mangiare proprio bene, così ci siamo fermati, che dire!!! Spettacolo il menù lavoro, piatti di qualità, ristorante raffinato, personale gentilissimo, qualità del cibo Top, tornerò sicuramente per provarlo di sera alla carta, consigliatissimo

10/03/2025: Menu' fisso nei feriali a mezzogiorno. Primi apprezzabili, i secondi da migliorare. Locale spazioso ed allegro, molto frequentato. Accessibile a tutti perche' al piano terreno. Prezzo non esoso (14 euro compresi vino sfuso, acqua, caffe'). Consiglio.
