02/09/2024: Everything we ordered was worth 5 stars. And not that expensive for the area.

29/08/2024: Nice roof terrace, great view. Gluten-free pasta and risotto possible, unfortunately no gluten-free pizza. Gluten-free bread was served. Service very attentive, prices okay. 7 p.m. for dinner is possible without a reservation (2 people), shortly afterwards many tables were occupied.

08/08/2024: We ate there on Monday August 5 and frankly it was the worst restaurant in Como. The prices are not in line with the dishes or the wines. The salmon was dry and served with boiled potatoes, without any flavor...the filet of St Pierre was average and the accompaniment lousy. I think the tartare was defrosted without any taste...zero presentation of the dishes! 2 glasses of very average quality wine 36 eur, the meal cost us 194 eur...a lot of fuss for not much really. It's really a stupid catch!!!!to avoid!!!!

05/08/2024: The dining experience was scammy. Very High priced for average seafood. They kept bringing food to the table which we didn’t order as they gaslighted us into thinking it was part of our original order which was not the case. They did this to increase the bill forcing us to pay for extra food. Finally, I extremely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You can find way better options and way cheaper options around the area.

31/08/2024: We have a wedding tomorrow and saw the party that stole the bride here before we came in… we almost didn’t come in, but then something pulled us in.. we weren’t disappointed. We shared 4 dishes like uncultured Americans we are.. but the hosts were accommodative and nice enough to accept our patronage. 5 stars. Each dish was delivered swiftly and on point for our stomaches’ liking. May my fellow travelers and wedding attendees find this jewel and enjoy their dinners as we did. Bravo!

22/08/2024: Ho cenato in due occasioni nel giro di un mese in questa trattoria nostrana a pochi passi dal confine. Ho mangiato bene. Porzioni giuste anche se non abbondanti. Della carne alla griglia non mi è stato chiesto che cottura volevo e la tartare aveva una decina scarsa di patatine fritte di contorno. Nel complesso una buona scelta di piatti. Fanno anche la pizza ma non l’abbiamo assaggiata. Non ci sono piatti specifici per bambini. Prezzi che strizzano l’occhio alla clientela svizzera. Unico vero NEO: il proprietario/gerente veramente sgradevole nell’approccio e nelle risposte. Gentilezza zero. Mi ha fatto passare la voglia di tornare, nonostante abbiamo mangiato bene. L’altra cameriera che ci ha serviti invece è stata assolutamente gentilissima, in entrambe le occasioni.

06/08/2024: I was at a dinner with the CAI of Como. I enjoyed the food. For me polenta and gorgonzola. Very good mixed starter. Super good chocolate salami. You can go up on foot from Como in about half an hour or by car (but not with a "low" car). I point out that you can push a wheelchair. Maybe not very easy but it can be done.

17/07/2024: Piacevole serata di buon cibo e frescura , con vista panoramica fino a Milano. Ottimo anche il vino, preso seguendo il consiglio della proprietaria . Da assaggiare la cotoletta tiepida (scusate se non ricordo il nome esatto) con lavorazione simile al carpione.

14/08/2024: A restaurant that really impressed me! The familiar atmosphere and the exceptionally good food made my visit an unforgettable experience. The prices are more than justified as you get a true gourmet experience here. I'll definitely be back! The service is first class, the food is of the highest quality, and my family and I felt completely at home. Without a doubt the best place in Como! 😊

01/08/2024: I do not recommend this place. They are just stealing your money. 25€ for 5 tiny pieces of cheese. And when we ordered olives they brought 4 pieces of olives in a tiny cup. And olives are the cheapest ones you can buy in a supermarket. It’s expensive and you don’t get anything for the money you spend

23/08/2024: Sans plus, la rue est sympa les tables jolies, mais ça reste bof et en petites quantités... On aurait pu trouver mieux...

15/08/2024: N’a de restaurant que le nom. Jambon cru insipide. Gnocchis trop cuits semblant venir d’une mauvaise cantine, tagliatelles à la myrtille complètement ratés, le soit disant chef a dû se sentir pousser des ailes en regardant la version italienne de Top Chef. Il aurait dû s’abstenir. Vin à température ambiante en plein mois d’août, donc imbuvable. Le fait de l’avoir fait rafraîchir n’a malheureusement pas amélioré sa qualité. Un seul point positif, le serveur, très sympathique, qui après nous avoir demandé notre avis sur le repas nous a accordé une remise sur la note, que nous n’avions pas demandée. Serait-il conscient du problème? Nous aurions toutefois largement préféré que la qualité soit au rendez-vous quitte à payer plus cher.

25/08/2024: Basita. Capisco i costi Capisco la piazza ma non è accettabile. Un piatto, un antipasto, 3 bicchieri di vino 105 euro. Il prodotto è lo Stesso di 2 anni fa e prezzi sono triplicati Il servizio è peggiorato( il ragazzo che ci ha portato i piatti lo ha pulito con il dito e poi lo ha messo a tavola ) Sono tutti turisti e va bene così , però la presa in giro dura poco

19/07/2024: Nice pizzeria in via borgovico, a stone's throw from Villa Olmo I had dinner with my boyfriend, the pizzas, a diavola and a gorgonzola and speck were very good and tasty, they arrived immediately thanks to the wood oven. The very hospitable and friendly owners welcomed us. Recommended for both the weekend and the week given the affordable prices especially considering where it is located.
