Great location, views, good service and good food. The roof top views are the best. On the higher price side but worth it.

Terrazza 241 is a stunning restaurant perched on top of the Hilton Lake Como with views of the lake that are worth the visit alone.
The staff were attentive and warm, adding to the overall experience. I ordered the duck breast with a vegetable medley. It was decent, but not the star of the show here.
The real draw is the setting, and it delivers. If you’re after a scenic, memorable dining experience, this is the spot. Just be sure to make a reservation!

I made a reservation for March 26 at 14:30. On that same day, I received a message saying my booking was at 12:00. Since I don’t live in Italy and had enough time, I arrived earlier only to find out it was a mistake and my actual reservation was indeed at 14:30.
This wasn’t as critical as what happened next. As I was leaving the restaurant, a hostess approached me and asked whether I had paid for my meal to the waiter. Apparently, she thought I might not be able to pay my bill. She explained that she just wanted to make sure in case I needed help with the payment. However, people who need help paying are unlikely to be walking out of the restaurant.
Overall, there are serious issues with the hostess. On the positive side, the view is stunning, the food is delicious, and the waiter (I paid who) also kindly took a few photos of me on the balcony since I was alone , it was very polite. Unfortunately, I didn’t know his name. And unfortunately, I didn’t check the hostess’s name either, though I should have.

It could have been a lovely evening, but the food let it down. The restaurant setting is beautiful with gorgeous views. The atmosphere is relaxed, but with some elegance. The service was attentive, but disjointed - in the space of 2.5 hours we had 6 different servers, one of whom commented that I looked tired. Out of 4 dishes we had only one was enjoyable - the beef tartare. The rest were not good at all. The scallops in the starter were overcooked and served with very astringent pickles that were too strong for the delicate scallop flavour, the gels tasted chemical. Both fish main courses were cold and the tuna smelt unfresh. The cod had the same pickled vegetables as the starter. We ordered french fries as a side. The waiter brought out sweet potato fries. The correct fries arrived quickly, but didn't taste very good either. Too chunky and soft, no crisp outer, no seasoning. For this level of restaurant it was a big disappointment. Other tables around us had complaints about the food too. I can only assume that the main kitchen team had a day off. The staff didn't seem to be too upset about any of this. A brief apology was all we were offered.

The location is beautiful, the view is priceless, and the space is well-organized to ensure sufficient privacy.
The staff is friendly, but overall the service has considerable room for improvement: for an aperitif for three, we ordered one prosecco and two cocktails. The prosecco arrived almost immediately, but the other two drinks took 10 minutes.
The aperitifs are beautiful to look at, not exceptional to taste (but that could be a subjective issue), but the salmon and tuna tartare seemed dull and dry.
Not a napkin, not a coaster.
From a place where a cocktail costs an average of €20, you expect much more.

The terrace overlooking Lake Como is an experience in itself: the view is breathtaking, the atmosphere suspended between elegance and naturalness, the kind of place where time slows down in the right way.
But let's talk about what really matters: the food. It begins with a buttery spread accompanied by soft bread. When the welcome is already at this level, you know the evening will be special.
This was followed by a cheese tasting with saffron honey that deserves a special mention, along with truffle oil. The contrast between the saltiness of the cheese and the golden, spicy sweetness of the honey was perfectly balanced, a refined pairing that left its mark.
The grand finale: A simply fabulous fillet steak. Impeccably cooked, raw ingredients of unquestionable quality, and the plating worthy of the setting. A complete gastronomic experience, framed by the enchanting view of the lake.
