17/07/2026: The views, the architecture, and the natural surroundings were perfect and a delight to behold. There were activities of all kinds, such as gardening, visiting the forest within the association's grounds, seeing their church, and exploring their meeting room. In short, everything was perfect and deservedly 5 stars, including the fact that they maintained the place and kept it very clean.

26/05/2026: Invited to a birthday lunch. The location and the young guests or those supported by this association who serve as waiters are admirable. The food was average, but the second course was better than the first.

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.

11/06/2026: It's been a while since I went to get pastries from Melillo, yes because they are not pastries like in the north they are pastries because they are enormous and Good with a capital B, try it and believe it and if the price doesn't suit you go and get the tasteless ones from the supermarkets.... I highly recommend the babà with strawberries

06/07/2026: If you're looking for a really good pizza at a great price in Como, Pizzeria La Giara is the place to go. The pizza is excellent, the pasta is also delicious, and everything is freshly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the price: a Margherita for only 4 euros. Such a price is hard to find these days, especially with this quality. The value for money is simply unbeatable. A definite wow, and a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good Italian food without breaking the bank!

28/06/2026: I spent a day in Como Carmelata. I spontaneously decided to go to Pizzeria Giara, and it was the best choice. I can highly recommend it. Friendly service, great food. I had a 0.5l glass of wine, a water, the first and second courses, and ice cream. I even met someone from Switzerland, and we had a nice chat.

26/07/2026: We stopped in for pizza, pasta, and wine and had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious, the service was friendly, and the lakeside atmosphere made the experience even better. A great spot in Como.

01/06/2026: Unfortunately, a very negative experience — Saturday, May 16th. I should point out that this wasn't my first time at Locanda dei Giurati: I'd been there before, and that's precisely why I chose to return, expecting a certain level of organization and customer service. On Saturday, May 16th, I had made a reservation for dinner and showed up promptly at the agreed-upon time. When I arrived, I found a long line of people waiting. I introduced myself to the receptionist, mentioning that I had a reservation, but was simply told to wait. After about 10 minutes, I asked for information again and the response was rather rude, pointing out that there were a lot of people waiting. I then pointed out that my reservation had been made about 20 minutes before, but was told, again rudely, that "it wasn't their fault" and that they couldn't turn away customers who had arrived early and were already seated. Frankly, I was astonished. I understand that it can be busy on a Saturday night, but if you accept reservations, you expect a minimum level of organization and, above all, courtesy toward the customer. This is especially true when it comes to a customer who already knows the place and has chosen to return. I wonder: in a location like this, with a high-end menu and prices, do they manage two sittings for dinner? And if so, are the customers clearly informed when they make their reservation? Showing up on time and still being left waiting without a clear explanation is unacceptable. After waiting a bit longer, given the situation and, above all, the way I was treated, I decided to leave and dine elsewhere. The most unpleasant thing, even more than the wait, was the lack of courtesy. Unexpected events can happen, but courtesy, respect, and clarity toward the customer should never be lacking.

30/05/2026: A super restaurant for meat lovers!! Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful selection of wines to pair with the meat. We celebrated Christmas with friends, and everyone was delighted.

11/06/2026: Tried it last night for the first time. Small but welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, the pizzoccheri are definitely worth a try, and the price is fair. I'll definitely be back.

16/07/2026: The setting is very nice, the food is good, but very expensive. What particularly struck us was the arrogance of a waiter who, after commenting on the very sad salad, bought straight from the supermarket, told us we could leave because they already had customers. Politeness is unfortunately very rare, but this kind of behavior is unacceptable in a restaurant that still cost 98 euros.

16/07/2026: We returned to this restaurant after a few years, fondly remembering it. Unfortunately, the experience was decidedly different. The food seemed much more banal and careless. The most memorable moment was the arrival of the salad: wilted leaves, with the typical smell of a supermarket bag left unopened for too long, accompanied by three slices of tomato. Not exactly a grand display of haute cuisine. When the waiter asked if there was anything wrong, we politely replied that finding a half-dead salad on our plate was rather embarrassing. The response was surprisingly aggressive: if we didn't like it, you can get up and leave, since "my" place is always busy. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told, "I'm the manager." When we asked his name, we were told it was none of our business. So, we don't know the name of this hero of hospitality, but heartfelt kudos to him for his management style. It would be interesting to know what the owners think, because we doubt such a beautiful and beloved place would consider this attitude a good calling card. Otherwise, the cuisine is varied and trendy, a bit basic, overall edible but unimpressive. For an appetizer, two main courses, and three glasses of wine, we spent €98. The place is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery, and the other staff members seemed kind and professional. It's a shame that just one person's attitude could ruin the work of everyone else. In any case, we won't be returning.

14/07/2026: I chose this rooftop at the Hilton Como for a special evening, and from a location perspective, my expectations were fully met. The view is simply breathtaking, the setting is elegant, luxurious, meticulously maintained, and yet very comfortable. The service was also impeccable: the staff were attentive, friendly, and always available. Unfortunately, however, the food wasn't up to par for a restaurant of this caliber. I ordered seared tuna, but after tasting it, I had to send it back because the fish wasn't fresh and was, in fact, inedible. The staff apologized with great professionalism and kindness, a gesture I greatly appreciated. However, I believe such an incident is extremely serious for a restaurant of this caliber. Such a prestigious location deserves cuisine worthy of the experience it promises.

14/07/2026: This was my second visit to the Terazza 241 lounge. The atmosphere was elegant, the view stunning, and the service fast and friendly. It's great to see that during the summer tourist season, the team is joined by talented young seasonal staff. The service was excellent despite the crowds. I'll definitely be back!

25/09/2025: A lovely little cafe with very reasonable prices. Perfect for breakfast or a quick break. It's located right on a busy main road, so it can be a bit noisy.

15/06/2026: Very disappointed. Almost an hour passed between our arrival and being served, for two dishes that normally require no preparation. The terrace was far from full, perhaps 20 covers at most. The meager salad (I counted three small pieces of chicken) at €16, with blackened, oxidized leaves, and the grilled vegetables (eight slices of vegetables with no seasoning whatsoever for €7 or €8) completely ruined my appetite. A shame, because the terrace is pleasant. We expressed our disappointment and got the impression that the waiter (or owner?) suspected we were trying to get a free meal (even though we left half of it). He offered to replace the salad without apology, then a digestif (to help with digestion, of course?) when it came time to pay the bill (without any gesture of goodwill). Unfortunately, we can't drink alcohol. We received apologies from the waiter just as we were leaving, while he was looking at his phone... I do not recommend it at all, unless you are not fussy, and are willing to pay full price because we are in Como.
