10/08/2025: Everything is really delicious, generous portions and everything is strictly genuine, the owner is a truly exquisite person, easy-going, friendly and it is really worth having lunch or dinner there, I highly recommend it

27/07/2025: On our first day we ended up here a bit by chance – and instantly fell in love with this place! ❤️ The carbonara and calamari were absolutely delicious, and the chef not only cooks wonderfully but is also incredibly friendly – he helped us choose our dishes and we couldn’t have been happier with the choice. On the second day we came back on purpose – this time the chicken was amazing, and the chocolate soufflé was simply pure heaven! A huge plus goes to the service – both the chef and the super friendly Italian lady create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You feel more like you’re visiting friends than dining in a restaurant. Delicious food, wonderful people and a fantastic vibe – we absolutely recommend this place! 05/08/2025: We came to this restaurant due to the reviews, expecting something special. Expecting a top restaurant in Como, something we would remember for a long time. We ended up meeting an owner who appeared to be drunk and had problems understanding every single word in English or French, even though he was bragging that he speaks 10 languages. Furthermore, he lacked articulation/understanding even in Italian, as we were also very fluent Italian speakers. However, we managed to have a table, which was very poorly decorated, as was everything else in the restaurant. We ordered food and when asked, due to our manners we said that everything was alright, as our intention was to eat peacefully, drink a bottle of wine and leave. But that was not true, the food was nothing special. Then, the owner kept bragging about how his restaurant was the best in Como and how the food was of super quality, which in fact was as regular as eating at a gas station, not at someplace considered fine dining. He also offered us some glasses of 0.15 ml of Prosecco (a bottle worth 2 euros), telling us later how no one in Italy offers and is generous like him. In reality, in every fine dining in Italy everyone offers Prosecco. Anyhow, we tried to see him as an entertainer, as someone who is trying to make a euro, even tried to understand his style of communication, but it was really hard. He was approaching us as if he were a billionaire with the mentality of the 18th century. In the end, we paid 112 euros, for an antipasti, two other dishes and a bottle of wine, in an environment suffocated by tables, with an interior that looked like a fast-food or a kebab place, even though I have the most respect for fast food and kebab places due to their honesty. As a person who loves to eat, enjoy wine and has a lot of experience in outdoor eating, I honestly need to say that this is a tourist trap, and would not suggest anyone eating here. Even a burger at McDonald’s or a meal at supermarkets in Italy are more worthy. In the end, I would respect the effort of the servers who were extremely professional and polite, probably the best ones we encountered during our two-week stay in Como. However, they deserve better. In the end, I would say: save your money, do not go there.

05/08/2025: We had a reservation, but when we arrived, the restaurant was packed and in total disarray. We waited inside for more than 30 minutes as the owner, clearly drunk, stumbled around the space, shouting, slamming chairs, and behaving aggressively toward both staff and guests. It created an atmosphere that felt more chaotic than welcoming. The staff seemed exhausted, trying hard to manage the situation, but it was clear they were being pushed to their limits. People come here expecting a nice evening and spend good money to enjoy the experience, but instead, what we got was stress and tension. By the end of the meal, the owner sat outside with a woman (possibly his wife) and began speaking loudly, and bizarrely. As Spanish speakers, we understood some of what he was saying, and it only added to the discomfort. She remained completely silent, which made the whole scene feel even heavier. We had read some reviews hinting at this kind of behavior, but seeing it firsthand was something else. It feels like the owner has given up on managing the place with care. The food might still attract people for now, but if this continues, the restaurant won’t last much longer. So sad.

13/10/2025: We stayed one night at the wonderful Hilton Lake Como. We were ending our trip in Continental Europe and after a hectic a few days in Rome, it was the perfect location to chill. The hotel view is just amazing, and the hotel itself is simply wonderful. We had lunch dinner, and breakfast at their Terrazza 241, and had the most amazing experience. The staff treated us with a lot of respect, and ensured the experience would be perfect. Dinner was a special early birthday celebration and it was simply unforgettable.

06/10/2025: I wasn't entirely satisfied with the customer service due to a mix-up: as a very demanding person, I expect greater attention in a setting of this caliber. I advise the wait staff to always ask for confirmation from more experienced staff if they're unsure of the information they're providing.

01/10/2025: Wonderful dining experience. Amazing knowledge of steaks. Fantastic selection of meats. Beautiful wines. Our host was on hand and extremely helpful. Marvellous.

23/09/2025: In Como, for lovers of good meat, Mosto e Carnazza is an absolutely excellent choice. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the price-performance ratio is truly competitive. The service is always attentive, friendly, and impeccable, helping to make the experience enjoyable and complete. The menu also offers valid alternatives for those who prefer dishes other than meat, ensuring a menu to suit all palates.

16/08/2025: Really nice, cozy, a bit hidden restaurant. I cannot find anything that could be a reason to give it less than a solid 5 stars. Food is good, not expensive compared to city centre. Drinks are awesome. Service as well. I spent most of my evenings there for sure. Highly recommend.

14/10/2025: Como's Sartoria Ciclistica (Cycling Tailor's Shop) is a highly original and well-designed concept. Aesthetically, it's meticulously crafted and offers a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to selling their brand of cycling clothing and accessories, it also has a small café serving everything from breakfast to cold cuts. The owners demonstrate a wealth of knowledge in the cycling world, and their approach to passing customers is generally friendly. My personal observation concerns the overall atmosphere of the shop, which can be somewhat selective for regular customers. While I recognize the excellent workmanship and the quality of the offerings, I sense a marked attention to the image and brand of those who frequent it. While a casual visitor might simply enjoy a coffee or a quick purchase without noticing this dynamic, those who are local and intend to visit regularly might notice that the clothing and bicycles are overpriced based on their value or brand. In short, Sartoria is a place of excellence in its sector and knows how to attract a specific, niche clientele. They've created their own small circle of enthusiasts, but those who don't fit certain aesthetic or financial standards might not feel fully comfortable or appreciated. It's a great place for those seeking brand exclusivity, but with a welcome that, for insiders, seems to favor the already select circle.

12/09/2025: Outstanding little shop! Delicious coffee and some super cool cycling kit

20/10/2025: "Game ragù" isn't worth much if it doesn't say which one. "Polenta uncia" isn't worth much if it doesn't say "what." It seems to be very successful; the place was packed for a Monday lunch, but I don't know if it's because of the quality or the lack of competition. Maybe I'm just being picky.

09/08/2025: Ice cream tasting, purchase of the "Resta". Friendly staff, a gentleman explained the history of the Resta to me, I bought a few pieces to give as gifts when I returned. I recommend you go there.

29/07/2025: Let's not kid ourselves....Luisita Gelato Shop #1 in Como for at least 50 years...The best gelato in Como. In the stracciatella you'll find blocks of chocolate...raw ingredients of the highest quality...Undisputed masters of meringues and fresh whipped cream, etc...etc...etc...etc...

14/07/2025: Recommended by a friend, the place was an enchanting discovery; surrounded by nature, you can admire a splendid panorama. The road leading to the cabin is not easy; it requires a bit of an adventurous spirit and a tall car, because the path is dirt, with potholes and rocks—in short, a mountain road. But once you reach the place, the journey is worth the sacrifice. Here I found kindness and hospitality, as well as excellent food made with the finest ingredients; the rib steak was a real delight. Plus, it's a place perfect for a variety of occasions, lunches or dinners with friends, family, or a romantic getaway. In the evening, it offers a magical atmosphere framed by trees, warm lights, and an enchanting view. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended ❤️

23/09/2025: A very cozy and pleasant café! The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick and courteous. The food was delicious, and the house wine was excellent. We were there with our dog and stroller—everything was possible without any problems. Overall, very tasty and reasonably priced.

11/09/2025: A truly unique restaurant that I wouldn't want to miss. Everything is excellent from start to finish. I love it. There's plenty of parking nearby. Unfortunately, the restaurant will be closing its doors for good at the end of September 2025.

19/10/2025: We went there today for the first time. We had a really good pizza. The meat and vegetable carpaccio was truly delicious. The location was truly beautiful, the place was truly welcoming and pleasant. The staff were truly kind, smiling, and helpful. A special thank you for your kindness, helpfulness, and support to Denis and Dilan for helping us manage our little Ginevra.

20/09/2025: The place, formerly Riva caffè has interiors that remind the wood Riva boats and nice tables outside. The best food in town, also when other place are close. Pizza has a special shape, remembering a boat. Service top, always fast.

29/06/2025: Excellent osteria providing all you would expect - delicious traditional food and a laidback environment. Torchietti pasta with boar sausage was fantastic.

20/06/2025: Meticcio gave us wonderful service. He gave us some great recommendations, and we had a very good dinner.
