03/01/2026: Osteria del Gallo is a fantastic spot in Como and well worth a visit. We had the Ragù Bianco, and it was absolutely amazing—rich, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with great care and high-quality ingredients. Simple, comforting, and memorable Italian cooking done right. If you’re looking for an authentic meal in Como, this is a place you shouldn’t miss.

26/12/2025: We came on Christmas Eve! It was beautiful. Make a reservation so you don't have to wait because the restaurant is small. Very tasty risotto, very tasty fussiloni, and roviola cheese. The staff is very kind, and always helpful with a smile. They have many customers, but still serve very quickly. The atmosphere is quite traditional.

20/12/2025: A very cozy bar with friendly and welcoming service. We had a glass of white wine and were served an aperitif platter. The place is very unassuming. We would definitely come back.

16/08/2025: Really nice, cozy, a bit hidden restaurant. I cannot find anything that could be a reason to give it less than a solid 5 stars. Food is good, not expensive compared to city centre. Drinks are awesome. Service as well. I spent most of my evenings there for sure. Highly recommend.

10/08/2025: Everything is really delicious, generous portions and everything is strictly genuine, the owner is a truly exquisite person, easy-going, friendly and it is really worth having lunch or dinner there, I highly recommend it

27/07/2025: On our first day we ended up here a bit by chance – and instantly fell in love with this place! ❤️ The carbonara and calamari were absolutely delicious, and the chef not only cooks wonderfully but is also incredibly friendly – he helped us choose our dishes and we couldn’t have been happier with the choice. On the second day we came back on purpose – this time the chicken was amazing, and the chocolate soufflé was simply pure heaven! A huge plus goes to the service – both the chef and the super friendly Italian lady create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You feel more like you’re visiting friends than dining in a restaurant. Delicious food, wonderful people and a fantastic vibe – we absolutely recommend this place! 12/12/2025: Every thing was great the food the aervice but the only thing that really upsets me that we were two and ordered food to share and I was shocked that the bill was doubled it would have been cheaper not to ask them to share the dishes very very strange rules what u pay is totally not what u get finally I don’t recommend as they were not honest

In addition to selling their brand of cycling clothing and accessories, it also has a small café serving everything from breakfast to cold cuts. The owners demonstrate a wealth of knowledge in the cycling world, and their approach to passing customers is generally friendly. My personal observation concerns the overall atmosphere of the shop, which can be somewhat selective for regular customers. While I recognize the excellent workmanship and the quality of the offerings, I sense a marked attention to the image and brand of those who frequent it. While a casual visitor might simply enjoy a coffee or a quick purchase without noticing this dynamic, those who are local and intend to visit regularly might notice that the clothing and bicycles are overpriced based on their value or brand. In short, Sartoria is a place of excellence in its sector and knows how to attract a specific, niche clientele. They've created their own small circle of enthusiasts, but those who don't fit certain aesthetic or financial standards might not feel fully comfortable or appreciated. It's a great place for those seeking brand exclusivity, but with a welcome that, for insiders, seems to favor the already select circle.

29/12/2025: This seems like a family-run restaurant. The atmosphere and service felt very homemade, which we absolutely enjoyed. The staff are personable, friendly, and efficient. The food? Simply spectacular. We ordered from the à la carte menu, though the daily specials also looked amazing. Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: We had a reservation, but when we arrived, the restaurant was packed and in total disarray. We waited inside for more than 30 minutes as the owner, clearly drunk, stumbled around the space, shouting, slamming chairs, and behaving aggressively toward both staff and guests. It created an atmosphere that felt more chaotic than welcoming. The staff seemed exhausted, trying hard to manage the situation, but it was clear they were being pushed to their limits. People come here expecting a nice evening and spend good money to enjoy the experience, but instead, what we got was stress and tension. By the end of the meal, the owner sat outside with a woman (possibly his wife) and began speaking loudly, and bizarrely. As Spanish speakers, we understood some of what he was saying, and it only added to the discomfort. She remained completely silent, which made the whole scene feel even heavier. We had read some reviews hinting at this kind of behavior, but seeing it firsthand was something else. It feels like the owner has given up on managing the place with care. The food might still attract people for now, but if this continues, the restaurant won’t last much longer. So sad.

05/08/2025: We came to this restaurant due to the reviews, expecting something special. Expecting a top restaurant in Como, something we would remember for a long time. We ended up meeting an owner who appeared to be drunk and had problems understanding every single word in English or French, even though he was bragging that he speaks 10 languages. Furthermore, he lacked articulation/understanding even in Italian, as we were also very fluent Italian speakers. However, we managed to have a table, which was very poorly decorated, as was everything else in the restaurant. We ordered food and when asked, due to our manners we said that everything was alright, as our intention was to eat peacefully, drink a bottle of wine and leave. But that was not true, the food was nothing special. Then, the owner kept bragging about how his restaurant was the best in Como and how the food was of super quality, which in fact was as regular as eating at a gas station, not at someplace considered fine dining. He also offered us some glasses of 0.15 ml of Prosecco (a bottle worth 2 euros), telling us later how no one in Italy offers and is generous like him. In reality, in every fine dining in Italy everyone offers Prosecco. Anyhow, we tried to see him as an entertainer, as someone who is trying to make a euro, even tried to understand his style of communication, but it was really hard. He was approaching us as if he were a billionaire with the mentality of the 18th century. In the end, we paid 112 euros, for an antipasti, two other dishes and a bottle of wine, in an environment suffocated by tables, with an interior that looked like a fast-food or a kebab place, even though I have the most respect for fast food and kebab places due to their honesty. As a person who loves to eat, enjoy wine and has a lot of experience in outdoor eating, I honestly need to say that this is a tourist trap, and would not suggest anyone eating here. Even a burger at McDonald’s or a meal at supermarkets in Italy are more worthy. In the end, I would respect the effort of the servers who were extremely professional and polite, probably the best ones we encountered during our two-week stay in Como. However, they deserve better. In the end, I would say: save your money, do not go there.

25/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic! Every visit to Caffè Maya is a pleasant experience. The coffee is always perfect, and the attention to detail is incredible. Special thanks to Yuri, the best barista I've ever met: always kind, professional, and capable of preparing every drink with care and passion. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent coffee in a welcoming environment!

08/12/2025: Kindness and great professionalism! I have a lactose intolerance, and they're always available to make a specially made, fresh, and delicious lactose-free cake. Even on short notice. Highly recommended.

21/09/2025: A historic Como Monteolimpino location that's been around for years. Excellent as a pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and coffee shop.

11/01/2026: Poorly functioning Wi-Fi, slow and inadequate service, kitchen needs improvement. There was no bidet towel in the room.

06/01/2026: A different experience. Good food, for those who love nature, walking up the hill. WARNING: Not recommended for people with leg problems. There are about 800 meters of dirt road, not recommended for low-slung cars, and a bit difficult to reach. Let's hope they fix it. Once you reach the top, the effort is rewarded with a breathtaking view.

08/01/2026: This local café and pastry shop, just steps from the city center and very close to Valduce Hospital, offers a wide selection of sweet and savory specialties for all tastes. I was surprised by the wide selection. All the pastries are beautifully displayed in the window. I personally stopped for breakfast. There's a small room with a few tables where you can enjoy a quiet meal. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I had a cappuccino and two small savory brioches with bresaola. The quality of the products is excellent. Just to be sure, I'll be back and try some other specialties.
