02/06/2026: A very old fashioned cafe and cake shop. Served by a local little girl that could not be more than 14 years old. Reminds me of myself when i was younger. She's so excited to be helping behind the counter and pulling my espresso. Bravo!

29/04/2026: Unfortunately, the food has nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. The "filet" is clearly of abysmal quality, causing stomach problems for two of our three guests. The meat is unsalted, as are the "side dishes." These are frozen and microwaved. The sauces are thin and don't resemble the Italian "pepe verde." The cooking demonstrates utter incompetence. The price is completely unacceptable given the quality. The service was fast. Too fast! Tables were cleared while we were still chewing. We had to ask for salt, pepper, and olive oil. The ambiance is pleasant, but only average for Lake Como. An objective review is impossible when you're still suffering from severe stomach pain two hours later. In short: A disgrace to Italian culture.

01/05/2026: I went to this restaurant to try lake food, specifically the spaghetti with missoltino sauce. Unfortunately, the spaghetti was served barely warm; it went cold within two minutes. The missoltino sauce had only a faint flavor, and all you could taste was a hint of butter. So, €36 for plain spaghetti... I politely pointed this out, but other than the disappointment, there was no attempt to remedy the situation.

14/04/2026: Six of us arrived on a Monday, just before closing time...we were greeted warmly, even without a reservation. A very cute and unique place, the food was delicious and well-received, and the staff was very kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back with more friends...

16/04/2026: Everything was perfect. We went for lunch and it was a wonderful discovery. The place is beautiful and the food is top-notch. I chose the full menu (paccheri with swordfish, seared tuna with seasonal vegetables), including water and bread, for €35 for two. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

09/05/2026: We had dinner at Albòri during our honeymoon and second visit to Italy. It was the best overall dinner experience we’ve ever had in Italy after stays in Florence, Rome, Milan, and the Como area. The food was excellent, particularly the risotto and lasagna specials, as well as the service. Luca, our sommelier, made the experience especially memorable. He picked an excellent bottle of wine for us, taught us about lesser-known Italian wines, and went above and beyond the whole dinner. We loved everything about Albòri and will definitely be back.

07/05/2026: The place and service is great. Do not order the gnocchi, it’s a very very small plate and it doesn’t taste good - very bitter and saltless.

The menus are seasonal, but they are extensive and offer a wide selection. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. RECOMMENDED! We will definitely be back.
