17/05/2026: Only the atmosphere is that of a typical tavern, otherwise it is a real restaurant with interesting culinary offerings, attentive and friendly service, and medium-high prices.

30/03/2026: Even though the entrance is unassuming and the prices aren't for the budget-conscious, our expectations for lunch were more than met. The Osteria's website gives a good indication of what to expect. Even as a (bicycle) tourist, you're greeted warmly upon arrival and shown to your table. In addition to the clear yet varied menu, available in three languages, there are also unobtrusive recommendations from the kitchen. Each of the delicious and beautifully presented dishes is explained in detail as it's served. The wait between courses is reasonable, given the fresh preparation. If you don't want to eat quickly in the tourist bustle on the lakefront, but rather enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal, you'll be exceptionally well served at Osteria Di Mezzo. We'll gladly return when we're in the area again.

19/05/2026: Strategically located right at the beginning of the beautiful lakeside promenade in Salò, the clean and fragrant room is equipped with everything you need and a courtesy kit. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast is varied and plentiful.

22/04/2026: The food was excellent! The service was very friendly, although the restaurant is a bit dimly lit since it has no windows. Nevertheless, it's a real hidden gem; the cuisine is far superior to comparable restaurants in the area.

01/12/2025: Fantastic culinary journey 🤩 As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm smile (I often emphasize hospitality), and were escorted upstairs—what a lovely surprise 😃 Exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, a rectangular mirror on the wall creating greater depth to the room, and thoughtfully designed furnishings with great style creating a warm atmosphere. As soon as we were seated, we were welcomed with high-quality mortadella and soft bread. Let's move on to the menu, not overly extensive but concise and refined. A wonderful selection of wines, for all budgets (bottle or glass) 😃 We started with two appetizers "designed for sharing": fried polenta and Parmesan meatballs "a delight." Let's move on to the main courses: 1 beef cheek in red wine and 1 seared belly with salsa verde "a delight." Let's move on to desserts 😃 We ordered tiramisu, and off-menu, they offered us the classic panettone "with candied fruit," and with Chantilly cream "a delight." They added that the panettone's strong point was the perfectly executed dough. Many thanks 🤗 to Camilla and Elisa, who were excellent, from the welcome to the explanation of the dishes and wines... 08/11/2025: Excellent cuisine, a welcoming and original renovated venue, lots of courtesy, friendliness and professionalism.

03/05/2026: I'll start by saying that everything was fine. We were just a little unlucky with the room for a few things, but that didn't ruin our holiday. The beds and bathroom fixtures were clean, so it was fine. The owners were all very kind, as were the various waiters and staff. It was a truly pleasant experience. The place is surrounded by greenery, not exactly informal, but away from the noise and chaos of cars and traffic in general. The sound of the wind and the birds and the tranquility of the place are the main features. I'd like to point out something else and point out that the food is truly amazing. They use their own products and local products from breakfast to dinner. I highly recommend even just going there to eat.

20/04/2026: First off: I can't comment on the rooms, as we ate at the adjacent agriturismo. We passed by Agriturismo Il Bagnolo during a hike. It's beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the lake. The grounds are spacious and also suitable for children. The tables were beautifully set, and the service was excellent. The food was really good. We had lasagna, pasta with porcini mushrooms, and strips of beef. We felt very comfortable there, and the owners even took the time to chat with us.
