16/02/2026: Yesterday, my family and I were in Salò for a Sunday stroll, given the nice weather and the fact that we hadn't been there in a while. After a detailed Google search over the past few days, my mother found this place that inspired her. We made a reservation for three at 1 pm. It's located inside Salò, with a few steps to climb (a bit inconvenient for strollers and prams). The place is small but very well-kept with a very classy atmosphere. Just a few tables ensure a quiet place. The menu offers a diverse selection of both quality and quantity. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom is very clean and smells great. Perhaps because it was Sunday lunchtime and it was busy, or perhaps because the dishes aren't the quickest to prepare, or because they're made to order, we had a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. We were full and chose not to order coffee, but they did give us a little gift of their homemade cookies (a much-appreciated gesture). The price was consistent with the quantity and quality of the food, and with the location and beautiful village. Very satisfied, we will definitely be back.

04/11/2025: What a wonderful place! Enjoying the beautiful weather as we walked in Salò in November we were ready to eat and Cantinone was the perfect place. The space inside was warm and welcoming as was the entire staff. The antipasto of local fish was excellent as was the Gnocchi and Mazzo di olio. If you are in the area I highly recommend Cantinone.

31/10/2025: A nice family restaurant in the town of Salò. The best of all that we visited during our stay. Excellent food, very tasty local wine and the indispensable Italian "dolce" at the end are served by a nice and very kind staff. If you eat in Salò, then definitely in Cantino! THANK YOU <3

09/11/2025: I ate well, the dishes were well-prepared, although the prices seemed rather high. Unfortunately, one incident completely ruined the evening: I accidentally broke a glass. I apologized and immediately offered to pay for it, but the owner reacted rudely and unprofessionally. In the end, I paid part of the glass, but the way I was treated was truly unpleasant. It's a shame, because the kitchen deserves much better than such rude management.

04/03/2026: My partner and I went there for lunch on a Sunday and were thrilled. The view, location, and food were beautiful, and above all, the service was excellent! The price is reasonable for the quality. We'll definitely be back. There's a small golf course across the street that's great for everyone to enjoy.

09/11/2025: Restaurant near the Cunettone di Salò golf course. Welcoming location, refined and tasty cuisine. The other evening we participated in the mushroom-themed trail evening and had a wonderful meal 👍

14/02/2026: A very beautiful place... we stayed for the New Year's holidays. The rooms are large and spacious, with a fully functional refrigerator (a rare thing these days), which was essential for me to keep my dog's food cool, as she was very welcome. Personally, I would definitely prefer the warmer months, because you can use the pool and not have to go elsewhere during the day to avoid staying in your room. You could also walk downstairs for breakfast and dinner at their restaurant (approximately 500 meters as the crow flies). But with the darkness, fog, and cold of December, it wasn't really the right time. Traditional dishes with almost all their own or locally sourced products, expertly prepared by one of the owners. Very fair prices. I can't wait to return for Easter if the weather and temperatures are good. Best regards to all the staff.

27/01/2026: You know those evenings when you're traveling and you're not really hungry for a restaurant and you're just waiting for a good alternative? Banco Salumi is exactly that pleasant surprise. With a well-established reputation for excellent charcuterie and cheeses, they also serve traditional hot dishes. The place is a bit "cheap" in the back, with mismatched furniture, but it makes you feel like you're at a friend's place who throws parties in their trendy garage (great poster on the wall)... the restrooms are clean. But it's the owners who make all the difference, with their warm welcome, kindness, and expertise. Charcuterie is a family tradition, and they know everything about local cheeses. Try an aged Bagos while listening to what the owner tells you about it... a very, very pleasant surprise!

26/02/2026: My wife and I had lunch here for the first time during a day at the lake. Everything was excellent, from the location to the menu, to the friendly and attentive service.

18/02/2026: We returned for dinner for the second time. Even though it was Monday, we preferred to book, fortunately because the place filled up shortly afterward and there were no free tables. Excellent food and great service. Dogs are welcome. The four of us, ordering an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, along with a good bottle of Lugana, spent a total of €250; excellent value.

10/02/2026: I found the restaurant to have a rustic style that I really like. I had an appetizer and a first course because the portions were so generous that I couldn't finish the main course. We enjoyed everything they served. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner is very nice. We'll be back.

01/01/2026: ​Fantastic food, but bring your reading glasses for the menu! ​I had a really enjoyable dinner here recently. The standout for me was the steak tartare—it was seasoned perfectly and clearly made with high-quality beef. It’s easily one of the best versions I’ve had in a long time. ​We also ordered a few pizzas, and the quality was top-tier. The crust had that perfect chew, and the ingredients tasted fresh and authentic. On top of the great food, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. ​My only small critique is the pizza menu. It is absolutely endless! There are so many combinations that it’s actually a bit overwhelming to choose. While I appreciate the variety, it’s a bit of a marathon to read through everything.

13/01/2026: We went here for lunch. Everything was beautiful, from the location to the service and the food. The only thing missing is the WOW factor, which I didn't experience. Everyone does their job admirably, but without any particular flair. I would gladly return.

07/01/2026: We went before Epiphany with some friends and had a great time. The place is very cute and clean, as are the bathrooms, which are a good indication of the cleanliness of the place. We ordered both pizzas (which the kids also loved) and pasta dishes, and everything was very good. The staff were very friendly throughout. I highly recommend them!
