16/06/2026: I went to the pastry shop this morning and ordered the realistic fruit. Absolutely NOT! I ordered the mango flavor, and it was just filled with mango liquid. The clerk told me to put them in the fridge, but after two seconds of taking them out, they were all melted; I couldn't even hold them in my hand! Plus, the non-existent white chocolate layer was too thin, and they were tiny for €12 each. Never again!
04/06/2026: Pastry shop in the center of Cologne, excellent pastries different from those seen around with particular flavors!

15/08/2026: Food was nothing great, we ordered the pâté and it was a minuscule portion. Tuna tartar was good, veal Milanese was good but portion was small. The view of Lake Garda is fantastic, best part about Il Grifone by far.
If this restaurant was located anywhere else I’d give it a 3 at best.

Pasta with clams completely tasteless
In addition to the cover charge, there's a €2 service charge... never seen before (and it's not for the €2).
The place is for tourists only, who won't return.
Naturally, no receipt was issued (just a courtesy receipt, not a tax receipt).

14/08/2026: A truly beautiful place! Beautiful and delicious custom cakes, lots of gift ideas, and even plenty of bottles of champagne. The desserts are fresh and delicious, and the aperitifs are truly delicious. There's always something beautiful and original to choose from. Highly recommended!

28/06/2026: The quality of the ingredients is quite good, but what's not quite right, despite the location and proximity to the lake (not the view), is the exorbitant price. For three kebabs (one portion), two soft drinks, and a can of beer, I paid over €30, and we were still hungry. Service is by ringing a bell when it's your turn. Tables are limited due to the location, but if you want a well-made kebab in a clean environment, you've come to the right place.
25/06/2026: I got a Kebab Menu to go. It was done pretty fast. The ladies at the register were really friendly.
The food was very good. Thin fries and a good filled kebab. It's not the classic triangle bread but it tasted good either way! The price is good for the food you get. Would definitely recommend

17/08/2026: We spent two nights here in our campervan and were very happy!
The view of Lake Garda is simply breathtaking, and at the same time, it's wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The entire campsite was very clean and well-maintained. We were also pleasantly surprised by the sanitary facilities: toilets with toilet paper and soap, and showers with hot water – all included.
We can highly recommend this campsite! We would also like to give a special shout-out to Alfredo, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful stay! ☀️

18/06/2026: The ravioli were delicious even without sauce... and the risotto with asparagus and speck with special lactose-free butter.
The family who invited me to the chef's was not informed because of my lactose intolerance.
Anyway, the sliced meats were good, too...
I was also wrong not to check the menu.
A tip for those with food allergies:
Place a colored glass on the table.
So the waiters are as if they were serving...
14/06/2026: The restaurant is welcoming, both inside and out, and offers a pleasant atmosphere. The food is average, and aside from a few minor service hiccups due to uncertainties in the table and dish management, the overall experience was positive. The prices are slightly higher than what's offered, leaving one with the feeling that the value for money could be improved.

If you're looking for the true flavors of tradition, this restaurant in Gavardo is a surefire winner. The dishes are simply delicious, prepared with care and with an authenticity that is increasingly rare. Making the experience even more special is the welcome: the owners are wonderful, incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The bill, too, is a wonderful surprise: an incredibly fair value. I'll definitely be back; highly recommended!
