24/03/2026: A trattoria with a beautiful history, nestled in greenery and surrounded by a peaceful and relaxing landscape. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Very good food, especially the homemade casoncelli, which are truly excellent. Recommended!

Very attentive staff, well-presented and very knowledgeable. Very good dishes with well-balanced ingredients. The quality is evident, as is the expert craftsmanship of those who prepare them. Very pleasant background music at the right volume.

09/03/2026: A beautiful little place, refined and well-kept in every detail, they have been able to enhance the historic nature of the place. The owners with great discretion know how to welcome guests and make them feel at ease. The attentive staff is ready to satisfy every request, making this place even more special. Their dishes are also excellent and very refined, I would say exclusive.... Ideal for special events or even for a simple, quiet meal.... the outdoor setting is also wonderful.

17/02/2026: Excellent welcome and helpfulness, gorgeous location, top-notch cleanliness, superb dinner, average breakfast. The only flaw... booked a suite with a jacuzzi, everything was beautiful but no hot water, not even for a shower. The staff was very kind and tried everything they could to fix it. The owners were "Indian" but I still paid full price! 🤷‍♂️

11/03/2026: I write this review with regret because, while the food quality wasn't disappointing, the overall experience at La Fricca was marred by customer service that I would describe as questionable, to say the least. ​We had made an online reservation with the intention of taking advantage of the "Ristoranti Bergamo" promotion. Although the dishes included in the offer were regularly available on the à la carte menu (thus ruling out any issue with the availability of raw materials), we were denied access to it for completely unfounded and, at times, contradictory reasons. ​We were informed that the offer wasn't applicable because we had booked through TheFork, implying the burden of external commissions. It's a shame our reservation didn't go through that platform... Beyond the factual error, I find it inelegant for a restaurant to force its distribution choices on the customer in order to deny them a service. ​It was also claimed that the dishes on the promotional menu had been "recalibrated" (i.e., reduced) compared to the à la carte menu. I find it unacceptable, as well as offensive to the consumer's intelligence, to offer a "promotion" that essentially consists of making customers eat less while still costing €50 per person. A preferential price should never translate into poor service. I understand that it's perfectly legitimate for a restaurant owner to decide how and when to apply their offers. However, it's equally legitimate for a customer, faced with such a decline in style and such opaque management, to decide not to return. We honored the evening by dining at Fricca anyway, but the feeling of not being appreciated as "promotional customers" was clear. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Response to the owner: I will report the incident directly to RistorantiBergamo; they will evaluate the correctness of your policy and the handling of the entire incident. It would have been "capricious" to give your restaurant a generic one-star rating: after this response, frankly, you deserve it. Furthermore, minimizing the amount of €9 after raising concerns about alleged commissions is truly hilarious and highlights a significant inconsistency. It's like calling a donkey a fool. This attitude, more than any figure, truly describes your level of inattention to the customer. Adios.

16/02/2026: We had a Valentine's Day dinner with a divine menu that evening. It's disappointing that they didn't fulfill the beautifully described menu they offered. The food was tasteless, the staff was confused. According to the menu, the amuse-bouche was served not first, but after the apertizer and the first course without even announcing it. Only when asked, the frightened waitress (although maybe she wasn't even a waitress there, but some friend who came to help) said, oh yes, it will be later. 110 euros for a couple, such an offer without drinks, and the fulfillment is pathetic 😳

14/02/2026: A romantic, quiet, and elegant restaurant with truly friendly and knowledgeable staff. You'll be spoiled for choice because the dishes are delicious, even the desserts are wow (they make panettone all year round, you have to try it). A beautiful evening, with excellent food and excellent service!

08/03/2026: A lovely discovery. A very pretty farmhouse surrounded by greenery. The dishes are well-prepared and made with high-quality, home-grown ingredients. The portions are generous, and the service is quick, but not overwhelming, so you can fully enjoy the entire meal. We'll definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the porch.

20/02/2026: Agriturismo Cascina Biffa is a place where we always find excellent quality and courtesy. A must-try.

14/03/2026: We visited this place for an aperitivo, and right from the start, looking at the menu, we noticed a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, which is far from expected, especially when it comes to non-alcoholic drinks. During aperitivo hours, all cocktails are priced at €10, but they come with a lovely complimentary platter, which is truly appreciated. Extra attention is also paid to those with special dietary needs: when ordering, they ask if you have any food intolerances or preferences, and a dedicated platter is then brought out based on that. A very nice idea that makes aperitivo even more enjoyable and inclusive.

08/03/2026: The appetizer platter leaves much to be desired. The quality of the products is low, and the quantity is very small for the price. The prices are exorbitant considering what's on offer.

25/01/2026: We decided to return to Pizzeria La Ruota after a long time because we've always been happy with the quality and menu options. We were seated in a cold dining room; we mentioned the inconvenience and were informed that they'd turned up the heating (something we hadn't noticed during the two-hour dinner). We asked for a cheese board to share for three people and, after a full 30 minutes, we were served three cheese boards for the modest sum of €9 each, when we only wanted one to share. We also had two plates of gnocchi and a pizza, but only saw it 15 minutes after the gnocchi arrived. The service was truly poor, and we spent the entire dinner wearing jackets. We were very disappointed by the decline of this place, which doesn't invite us back.

20/01/2026: We tried the excellent fresh pasta, rigorously handmade according to tradition, which you could taste in every bite. The main courses were also very tasty and satisfying, accompanied by a soft and flavorful polenta that paired perfectly with the meats. The selection of desserts was also noteworthy, all strictly homemade and authentic in flavor. In my opinion, to round out such a genuine menu, a small selection of local dairy products or a platter of traditional cheeses would be interesting and welcome.
