01/01/2026: A ruined day!! If you are a tourist, do not pay in cash if you don't want to be scammed. After a walk by the lake with the children, we went in for lunch on December 31st around midday. Everything was fine until the bill arrived — 98 euros, which was perfectly acceptable. We left 20 euros × 6 = 120 euros, planning to leave a tip. When the change came, I was shocked to receive only 2 euros. To be sure, I checked my wallet to confirm that I had indeed put in 120 euros. I counted again and confirmed it. The real shock came when the staff returned with four 20‑euro notes, claiming that we had not paid the full amount. I should add that when the waiter took the money, he dropped it on the floor and spent a long time under the table, even though the money was not scattered around. That's where the missing 40 euros disappeared — into his pocket. Disgraceful behavior and a ruined day! I spend at least a couple of months a year in this region. 09/08/2025: Since we were on vacation in the area, we were looking for a place to stop for lunch, and here's the surprise... the place is very rustic and unpretentious; the lady (owner) welcomed us immediately and had no problem seating us, given that she has two dogs... the menu is local and homey. Everything was delicious... the braised beef was special, as was the handmade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The service is fast, no-frills, and precise. In short, if you're in the area, stop by and eat here: you'll feel right at home and you'll eat truly well! Congratulations, Madam!

23/02/2026: Lots of people and a lively atmosphere. The outside area was closed, but the service was very good and the food was fantastic. The bill was hard to read, but the staff was smart and welcoming. 🤗🤗🤗

16/03/2026: Very welcoming and very tasty menu

02/03/2026: We had a family lunch and chose the tasting menu. The appetizer was a humble one, with three slices of salami (good) and three wedges of tasteless cheese. It was accompanied by three very salty anchovies. The first course was casoncei pasta, good but tiny. This was followed by a (really, very small) slice of roast beef, also lukewarm. The price was reasonable for what we ate.

14/03/2026: I've been going there for a while. It's a consistently excellent trattoria/pizzeria. The food is good, and the pizzas are equally good. A real pleasure. Recommended! (I originally gave it 4 stars.) Update: (I'm downgrading to 2 stars.) Today I went for lunch, and to my "disappointment," I can say that the trattoria atmosphere I knew is no longer there. It's become a restaurant that focuses on quality, losing its character as a traditional place with "homemade, family-style" dishes, obviously coming at a much higher price. Today I paid €33 for a fillet steak. It's definitely no longer my place. 🤷🏻‍♂️

18/03/2026: This place definitely has atmosphere and if you eat meat you will get what you want. But even as a vegetarian you don't have to be deprived, I had the classic of all classics, the Margherita pizza, thin crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil. And that fluffy crust. Perfect. And finally the apple ice cream, perfect period.

20/03/2026: Simply spectacular gelato! 🍦 You can immediately taste it's artisanal: intense flavors, perfect creaminess, and quality ingredients. The pistachio is insane (seriously, it's addictive 😂), and even the fruit flavors are incredibly fresh and natural. The staff is friendly and fast, despite the frequent lines (a sign I'm not the only one to have discovered this place!). Fair prices for the quality, and generous portions—which never hurts 😏 If you're passing through Bergamo and don't stop here… you've made the wrong trip 😄
