The hike to the Rifugio Parafulmine is absolutely worth it: the route is pleasant, and the view, especially at sunset, is truly spectacular. We chose the early hours (7:00–8:30 PM) to enjoy the evening light, and it was the right choice.
Unfortunately, however, the experience was significantly marred by the quality of the food, which we found significantly below expectations. Disappointing. The quality seemed very low, and no one at our table was satisfied with their dinner. It's a real shame, because such a beautiful place deserves cuisine worthy of the setting.

We walked about 1.5 hours and arrived at the refuge. It's a spectacular place, with cheap, delicious food! They were also very quick to serve! Please note: no ATMs, cash only! 🔝💯🌿

Perhaps too crowded, but otherwise a nice refuge with good food. The route is doable by almost anyone, with the only challenging stretch at the beginning.

To try at least once in your life, easy to reach, wonderful place, very polite people, excellent food with 20 euros you eat first and second course and dessert with a drink

Good morning
Yesterday, my brothers and their families went to the Parafulmine refuge.
We wanted to congratulate and thank the staff for their attention and helpfulness to our disabled brother.
Even though it was a Saturday night and there were a lot of people, they were available to provide the shuttle service, allowing us all to have a wonderful evening and making my brother happy, who was still able to be there with his children and all of us!

A beautiful walk, easy path, we ate at the refuge last night polenta and cheek, braised meat, melted cheese, cakes and liqueur made by them... everything delicious, welcoming place, highly recommended.
