18/03/2025: As expected from Italy, the food is great! Breakfast has an ok quantity of options, and dinner is just perfection! Be aware that on Sundays there is no room service, as the restaurant is closed. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent, but the bed was not the most confortable for me. Items from the mini fridge are unreasonably expensive, but there is a supermarket next to the hotel, just buy what you need from there and stock up, yes, even water.

I specifically went to a Trattoria staying nearby expecting abundant dishes, which instead were very scarce... main course of meat with 4 pieces of morsels €12... without much side dish. Dinner with dessert and wine in a Trattoria €36…absurd. Furthermore, the room where you eat is very noisy with people who don't converse, but shout... not recommended.

09/03/2025: An excellent place with traditional Bergamo cuisine, preserved vegetables are one of the strong dishes, very good and particular pickled garlic, excellent traditional casomcelli and meat with polenta, the place is very curious, easily reachable from Berbenno and with a good view, too bad that during the week it is only open on Friday evenings

Excellent quality/price ratio, beautiful landscape which can be enjoyed from the restaurant. Generous portions. The tagliolini with mushrooms and the pizzoccheri are very good, and the venison morsels are amazing. A place to definitely return to

04/08/2024: If you are looking for a family environment where you can eat well at a fair price, this restaurant is ideal. We ate the casoncelli and tagliolini with mushrooms which were all good, the venison and braised meat were very tender and the house wine was also good.

05/12/2024: Mio marito ed io siamo stati a Bergamo a novembre per visitare nostro figlio. Avevo trovato Da Stefano su internet prima del nostro viaggio e ho suggerito a mio marito di andarci, perché ci piace sempre provare la cucina tipica locale. Abbiamo provato un piatto di merlusso cucinato in salsa di pomodoro (buonissimo). Ci è stato dato anche del formaggio tipico bergamasco ed un salame per provare. Il proprietario/chef ci ha spiegato alcune cose e ci ha anche chiesto da dove venissimo. Ci è piaciuto molto bene. Un bel posto dove gli italiani fanno colazione o pranzano o comprano il cibo per la casa, bevono un caffè e chiacchierano: proprio quello che fa per noi. Ci siamo stati accolti in modo molto amichevole e interessato. Se dovessimo tornare a Bergamo, torneremo volentieri a Da Stefano. 23/02/2025: Struttura situata in centro paese. Difficile da identificare l'entrata per uno che non è della zona. Pizzeria anni 90. Personale gentile e veloce nel farci accomodare e prendere le ordinazioni. Era di sabato a pranzo e c'erano due menù uno di ristorante e uno di pizzeria con prezzo fisso. Buona soluzione. La pizza era buona. Nel complesso esperienza positiva.

My margherita was really good. The staff and owner are very kind and friendly. Highly recommended, a couple of minutes by car from Leolandia, 800 meters from Villa Appiani.
