04/05/2025: I was waiting for it, eating really good Italian food, not like the tourist traps in Como, the food here is really good, service is fast, and friendly, prices are fair, if you come around don't hesitate to try. I would definitely come again if I were living there.

04/09/2024: The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.

01/09/2024: ...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

15/04/2025: Cercavamo un posto x pranzare e guardando le recensioni abbiamo deciso x questa trattoria .locale carino ,arredamento proprio da trattoria .noi eravamo di sopra e avevamo delle sedie imbottite molto comode e che davano un tocco di classe alla sala .menù fisso da 25 € con scelta di pesce o carne .abbiamo preso sia menù di carne che di pesce .antipasto di polenta con calamari e cozze in umido ,ottimo mai avrei pensato di abbinare il pesce alla polenta .fritto misto molto leggero e abbondante. Ottima anche la carne .che dire consigliatissimo .le signore che servono e gestiscono molto simpatiche, servizio veloce

09/04/2025: Un pranzo decisamente piacevole in questa tradizionale trattoria in pieno centro. Due sale ordinate con tavoli ben apparecchiati. Personale gentilissimo; servizio celere e attento. Menù a prezzo fisso con buona scelta di primi e secondi. Ottima cucina, semplice, mai scontata. Vini della casa ad accompagnare e, per finire, un aromatico espresso. Nei giorni di festa proposte complete e interessanti da provare prossimamente. Agevole il parcheggio.

11/04/2025: Overpriced and underwhelming. Cold food and poor service didn’t come close to justifying the 170€ bill. Fillet was high quality and tasted good, but it was barely warm and the side dish was cold. For a place charging 170€ for two people, that’s unacceptable. Service was inattentive and unprofessional. Wine and water were barely refilled, plates were cleared while others were still eating, and we waited 10 minutes for the bill—with no apology for the cold food. Staff didn’t follow basic service etiquette and weren’t particularly friendly. This might pass in a casual spot, but not here. Absolutely not worth the price.

15/04/2025: We stayed here for work, the staff was always helpful and kind, always courteous and ready to lend a hand! It is a farmhouse surrounded by greenery, certainly suited to relaxing moments and family weekends, with animals and places to relax! The food is all ok but the ice cream is the touch of class that you don't expect, blackberry and raspberry strange flavors good, really great quality! The rooms are always cleaned day after day with all the towels and hand towels changed, everything very clean and well kept! Too bad for the distance from Milan, but it is definitely a place to relax so it must be far from the city and the chaotic traffic of Milan! Recommended!

20/03/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Twenty years ago it was our meeting point, and returning to the Locanda del Monaco Felice today was like taking a dive into the past, but with the same warmth and quality as always! Claudio is a guarantee: hospitality, friendliness and professionalism at the top. The food? Exceptional! I tasted a shank with potatoes which to define as perfect is an understatement: very tender, it melted in your mouth. And the beers? Well, simply spectacular, as per tradition. A place that never disappoints, on the contrary, it improves with time. I will definitely be back! 🍻🔥

29/04/2025: We had the famous dish of risotto with ossobuco. The meat was tender but also very fatty, so it didn't really taste like much. The risotto was very good, though. We had focaccia first, and the bread was very, very tasty. For dessert, we had tiramisu. For us, there was too much "cream?" and too much cocoa powder. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it at all. We also had limoncello on the house 🍋
