06/07/2025: New Management, a few months and it shows,,!!
Kindness, professionalism, enthusiasm.
We were with friends on Thursday evening for dinner, à la carte: Impepata di Cozze (perfect) mixed fried food, our friends who consumed other dishes were equally satisfied.
Test of the nine: Puff pastry dessert with cream: test passed.
We wish this staff to continue so few dishes (the giant menus are only one) but cooked well, continue on the quality and excellent value for money.

05/07/2025: Ristorante Il Sagrestano has recently changed management. Today the restaurant is run by a group of young people who are competent and very attentive to detail in conducting the service. The Chef offers simple but magnificently prepared à la carte menus, with excellent quality raw materials. The same care and attention to the Customer is also reserved for business lunches.
BRAVI!!! Keep it up.

27/06/2025: We had a lovely evening at Peppino's. We were a great group and we found ourselves in a large or smaller space where you can also dance. Good quality food and very helpful and courteous staff.
26/06/2025: I met Peppino at work, then I started booking a dinner with friends and we had a great time, later, often in Carugate, on Sundays it is closed, so I booked at the La Torrazza farmhouse in Cambiago, and here too we spent a wonderful Sunday lunch with friends who really appreciated it. The photos refer to the La Torrazza farmhouse.

Maybe we made a mistake on the evening, even if it wasn't full, but the service was very slow and confusing; the order was taken 15-20 minutes after we sat down, going to the counter to get attention, to receive the drinks we had to wait 40 minutes from when we sat down, with a first wrong delivery.
I took a strong hamburger, overcooked and dry...
Good beer and fresh wine.

It offers few dishes but all extremely well-prepared.
The Valdostana soup and the nettle gnocchi are really excellent.
The house Barbera is good, however it also offers interesting bottles.
It is advisable to book given the few tables.

A small osteria with a typical atmosphere, I particularly appreciated the kindness of the staff, and the food is excellent.
I highly recommend it.

Aperitifs are always accompanied by homemade appetizers.

31/05/2025: He didn't give me a discount (10%) with my company's card with which there is an agreement, even though I explicitly asked for it by showing the card (obviously with lame excuses, not arguments). Imagine the receipt. I don't care how I ate anymore, it makes me vomit anyway thinking about it
29/05/2025: Had lunch in this very characteristic place in the center of Pavia. Friendly and fast staff. Fixed price menu 10€ first course, second course, side dish, water and glass of wine. Recommended.

24/06/2025: Really enjoyed our meal here. Having from Australia we were still a bit jet lagged so finding somewhere that stayed open for an early dinner was great. Friendly service and room for a stroller which was great. Lots of mocktail choices, we loved our Eggplant Pasta and Milanese Risotto. My toddler is not an adventurous eater so we got fries for her but to my shock she loved the risotto and had so much of it - the ultimate compliment!
