10/10/2025: Once upon a time, you'd look for trattorias frequented by truck drivers: good, traditional, plentiful food, without the frills of a Michelin-starred chef, fair prices, generally family-run...these were TRATTORIAS! ...and this is a real TRATTORIA!! 3 first courses and 3 second courses described verbally and which change daily. If you don't book, you risk not finding a table because the people who work nearby eat here...and that says it all (see the truck drivers entry above). I came as a tourist off-season; if I could, I'd come every day. I don't want to comment on the price, otherwise they'll end up raising it (in the city you barely get a pizza...maybe). PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE!!

30/08/2025: It's exactly what you'd expect from a trattoria. No "gourmet" dishes and decent prices. I loved it.

15/10/2025: We had a fish appetizer. It was top notch.

12/10/2025: Nicely decorated, helpful and fast staff, and very good pizza! The gluten-free options are also excellent.

22/10/2025: We chose this property to spend a few relaxing days. Breathtaking views, heated infinity pool and hot tub, super relaxing. Very friendly staff, generous breakfast, and amazing dinner! I highly recommend it!!!

18/10/2025: Amazing hotel! Amazing food! Amazing view! We had best honeymoon celebration! Very recommended!!!! *The room a little bit small but you just sleep in it so its very cozy and warm at night!

04/11/2025: I've had trouble digesting their pizza in the past. Today, after a long time, I wanted to try again. I'm sure I'll have problems again, as the pizza wasn't cooked at all, evidenced by the fact that the mozzarella on top was almost cold. Terrible. At this point, I don't think I'll go back again.

21/09/2025: Nice people. Nice guests. Nice place. Nice dessert. Nice atmosphere. Full of people. Good size menu. Only thing that let me down was the main. I ordered the elephant ear. It was revolting. Not sure if it was the cut or what but I always finish my food but this time I did not it was so horrible.

21/10/2025: A discovery. Excellent food, without the Michelin-starred excess. Perfect service, but above all, a relaxed, almost informal atmosphere, which for a Michelin-starred restaurant is a real plus. Kindness and humor never hurt 😍

25/09/2025: We came today with our dog. The staff was very kind and helpful; we had excellent polenta for lunch, followed by a delicious buckwheat cake. Despite my dog's constant barking, the owner remained friendly and kind. Highly recommended refuge in a beautiful valley with high-quality service and food. I can only give it 5 stars.

19/06/2025: A magical moment with my wife, a cuisine of rare finesse, a little away from the city center. The seafood is sublime, and for true vongole lovers, these are simply the best we've tasted. Gourmet cuisine at a very reasonable price. A hidden gem in Como.

02/06/2025: Cute little spot in a rustic building. The kitchen is on the main level, and the dining area is in the basement. The space is rather intimate--only about 7 tables. The food was absolutely delicious! We are vegetarian and did not partake in a full tasting, only a la carte, but everything we had was incredible: the eggplant puree, the risotto with fava beans, and the homemade tiramisù. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

08/10/2025: Good shopping center in Varese, well-stocked Iper supermarket and very nice shopping gallery, with Sephora perfumery!

07/10/2025: A complete and functional shopping center. The Belforte Shopping Center is a reference point for shopping in Varese. I find it a convenient and well-organized place, perfect for shopping. The wide selection of shops and the well-stocked hypermarket are its strong points. The location is strategic, easy to reach, and the free parking is a great plus. In short, the Belforte is a center I recommend for its convenience and variety.

09/10/2025: We were there for lunch and ate inside. Authentic Italian, full of employees from the surrounding offices. The waiters were typically grim-looking, but the service was great. The Bolognese and tuna tartare were excellent.

19/09/2025: Over 12 months on in September 2025 we came back and again had the scallopini limone and it was again outstanding. This time with mash and applepie with icecream to finish off. No sign of Antonio who is now in his early 80s and slowing down a bit. We ca't wait until next time to do it all again. This was a truly memorable eveningg in MIlan. The wine and beer before after and during dinner was enjoyable and the Veal with limone was outstanding. Followed up with tiramasu for desert it was one of the culinary highlights of our European trip at 87 Euros it was good value.The pizza with fresh ham(15 euro) the next day was spectacular as well. It was interesting to see that the Boss still had the same demenour (grumpy).
