19/05/2024: Change of management and new opening in spring 2024! The owner is very smart and not a novice: previously she had already had a bar in another town not far away, which enjoyed an excellent turn. We are happy in Cairo that he decided to take up this activity. Pleasant and welcoming place, in a privileged central position in the most frequented area of ​​the historic centre. It overlooks a spacious square. Large selection of wines and gins inside. Perhaps a little overpriced in relation to the place, but if the slightly higher prices contribute to not having kids making noise, making noises and potentially causing damage both inside and outside, then this could also be a further positive factor, both for the customers than for the image of the place. We have already been there several times and had a good time, we hope it will be able to contribute to the Cairo nightlife. We are pleased to note the provision of a Cairo-Carcare shuttle on a recent evening, so you can go out without having to get behind the wheel.

11/08/2024: We arrived at the restaurant after 9pm, they were very kind to serve us anyway. We didn't find anyone having dinner but it was already late. Discreet dishes, without infamy and without praise. My prawns in spicy sauce were excellent, the small octopus poached in tomato sauce were good

28/07/2024: Saturday evening dinner. Since it was full outside they gave us a table inside but there was no air conditioning. Positive start with a good starter despite the fish not being boned and, after a long wait, they brought us the first courses which however slightly disappointed our expectations.

27/07/2024: We ate horror spaghetti with seafood. The fish was of poor quality as was everything else. The place was dirty. Very unpleasant experience.

29/07/2024: Palazzo K, highly recommended. Located high up, with a beautiful view, a lovely and spacious apartment with ditto views and very hospitable owners and kids. We had a wonderful week there. We would like to thank Lennie again for her energy and help with our car breakdown. Nothing was too much to ask. Tip: you can also enjoy the delicious food in the Palazzo or on the terrace at the weekend. We say do it! Grazie mille 🙌. Femke Mentink-Bijlhout and family.

03/09/2024: Posto bellissimo, romantico e tranquillo. Luce soft, vicino al mare tanto da vederlo e sentirlo infranfersi. Peccato la fatica per raggiungerlo con una ripida discesa da fare a piedi!!! Il servizio mediocre, molto freddo, poco seguito, disattento alle richieste...moltooooo ligure. Mi aspettavo molto di più data la location, menù completo, ma sul mare troppi asterischi del surgelato, non proporzionati ai prezzi. Portate abbondanti, ma niente di particolare
