08/08/2026: The waiter was rude and unprepared. The food was terrible...you can't improvise in restaurants. I won't be returning. A negative experience on all fronts!

25/07/2026: Excellent value for money. The meat is tender and very flavorful, the seafood salad is superb. And our children love the lemon scaloppine. Very well-maintained and clean, the car is parked in the shade of old olive trees, and you dine on a quiet, relaxed terrace. A real hidden gem.

13/07/2026: My first experience at this self-service restaurant, located inside the shopping center. I had a delicious plate of trofie with pesto, followed by excellent barbecue chicken with baked potatoes. The quality of the ingredients is good, and they're also recommended for vegetarians. I'll definitely be back to try their giant pizza.

11/07/2026: I had lunch at the Dolce Salato self-service restaurant at the Coop in Albenga and was truly pleasantly surprised. The food: The dishes are exceptionally good, fresh, and well-prepared. There's a nice variety, allowing you to grab a quick lunch without sacrificing quality and flavor. Excellent value. The staff is courteous, smiling, and helpful—an important detail that creates a welcoming atmosphere and makes you want to return. Highly recommended for a quick, tasty lunch break.

13/08/2026: Let's start with the bill: too expensive for the quality of the food. Long wait and mediocre service. The table in a corner of the outdoor area was full of wasps. I definitely won't be returning. Plus, the fish was definitely not fresh!

30/07/2026: The pizza was tasty and arrived quickly after ordering, but the calzone was undercooked on the inside. The cheese was not completely melted. The seafood pasta was tasty, but did not arrive at the same time as the pizza. As a result, one person was sitting eating alone when our pizza had already been finished.

31/12/2025: Very nice and romantic place, unpleasant service, very rude staff, we asked for two aperitifs, they only served us drinks, subsequently at my request we were brought (always rudely) some appetizers that were nothing short of awful, savory tart produced in 2020, which I then kindly offered to some needy pigeons, also the price was out of the ordinary to say the least, a lemon estathe with two rotten savory snacks, cost 5 euros, never again.

21/08/2026: You guys are fantastic, courtesy, friendliness and pure respect. Excellent quality food, both meat and fish, generous dishes and sandwiches at more than fair prices, the best fried food I've ever eaten, and the burger too. I've never tried the pasta, but in the next few days we'll try that too. However, just looking at the dishes makes you want them. I repeat, the staff and owner are very professional and super polite. Well done everyone 😘

17/07/2026: Sometimes I read reviews and wonder if people have ever left home at least once in their lives, or if they think they're in Miami Beach with their only day off! You should be objective when reviewing a bar or a place, considering the whole context and not just the one negative. I met the owner, and he seems like a nice, friendly person, willing to talk and find solutions. The staff is young, but polite and ready to serve. They don't take reservations, but a spot always pops up. €11 is the price for an aperitivo, which includes a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and various appetizers, and their selection of genuine products is delicious and fresh. Perhaps my only advice is to offer a reduced price for children who may only have tea or water! A nice, strong Spritz doesn't mind melted ice, and every now and then a Spritz that isn't watered down. We're in the middle of the promenade, and behind us (or in front of us, depending on how we sit) is the beach!! I'm attaching a photo.

29/07/2026: The bartender was absolutely unbearable; it seemed like she was annoyed when customers wanted to pay. She only spoke to me politely when I left a two-euro tip, coincidentally. Good food, average bar.

22/05/2026: Someone tell the barista that if contact with people bothers her, there are other jobs where you don't have to interact with the public. Cappuccino and a good croissant, that's all I'll save.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting, making it easy to unwind. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. The location was also ideal—convenient yet peaceful, perfect for both exploring and relaxing. Overall, Hotel Gabbiano delivered a truly memorable experience with excellent service and comfort throughout. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.

05/08/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would. You would think asking what is fresh at a restaurant on the sea front called "the fisherman" would be a normal, reasonable question, but the staff here treated us like we were completely stupid for even asking, which was absurd as they only had one fresh fish which is not local. They are hands down the rudest and most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. We had a young child in our group and simply asked if they could bring his food out a bit earlier. Not only were they completely inconsiderate, but they flat-out refused. They refused to make a child's portion size which is very common in Italy. When I tried to advocate for feeding the child a little earlier I was told to speak to someone in the kitchen as the waitress said she couldn't help. The young woman at the back immediately started shrieking at me. A completely horrendous experience from start to finish. Save your money and go anywhere else.

16/09/2025: End-of-season treat. Yesterday, the last day of the establishment's opening, and this morning I realized I had a token left over for the paid hot showers. I asked the staff busy cleaning and tidying up the bar if it was possible to return it. The answer was yes, but we don't have €1.50 to give you in return. They were obviously in a foul mood, as Ligurians are always true.

31/08/2025: Amazing food! The seared tuna, spaghetti with clams, and mixed fried fish were delicious. Spectacular view of Bergeggi Island. Fast and friendly service. Fair price!

08/02/2026: I didn't have a particularly positive experience at this pizzeria, where I returned after many years. The place was neglected, the pizza was undercooked, and the service was a bit unprepared.

20/12/2025: A very simple atmosphere, but the pizza and farinata are good, and the desserts are excellent. The hostess is very kind and friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.
