31/05/2026: We arrived after booking a table for 22, divided into five separate tables, two of which were on a sloping sidewalk. The waitress was rude, and the food was truly awful: overcooked, unsalted, and the fish was frozen. I honestly expected more from a seaside restaurant.

15/03/2026: The food is good. Honestly, with a €35 menu excluding drinks, and comparing it to other places in the area, I expected something more. Of course, I respect your work, but I won't be your customer again.

26/07/2026: I happened to try this place, and the experience was quite unpleasant. The outside tables were covered in pigeon droppings, the plates were dirty, and the seafood spaghetti was watered down. The only positive note was the very friendly service. I do not recommend this place.

02/07/2026: A perfect evening! We reached the restaurant and were enchanted by the location. We were assigned a table slightly higher than the beach, even though I had requested a table by the sea when booking. Without asking, the girl, very kindly, after delivering the water, moved us right to the sea, and we were truly amazed by such beauty. Perfect dinner, excellent dishes, excellent wines, and even more, dolphins in the background. Thank you again for the candle on the tiramisu for Beatrice's birthday, and we thank all the staff for their kindness and friendliness, especially for the compliments from a young man at the end of the dinner.

01/07/2026: I say this sadly as a Ligurian... a classic Ligurian place with infinite potential given the location, but absolutely disappointing for what was offered. The food was completely lacking in elaborateness. I chose the squid ink tortelli with chives and scallops... They had no seasoning, a bland taste, and could have been anything. My companion had a swordfish steak with potatoes that tasted like they came from a supermarket deli. In total, two appetizers, one first course, one second course, and two glasses of wine cost €96. I'd gladly pay that, given the location, but for food that was up to par. Wake up, guys... it's a shame to exploit that place so badly.

07/04/2026: Superb fresh Ligurian pasta, borage-filled ravioli, pansoti, fish-filled ravioli, trofie—all fresh and delicious. Freshly made walnut sauce and traditional pesto. The owner is extremely friendly and offers excellent cooking tips. Highly recommended.

22/03/2026: We waited over an hour and 10 minutes for a plate of pasta that never arrived...! We finally got up and left! Don't waste your time waiting, terrible service and a non-existent waitress...they don't bring your drinks, and they can't give you a waiting time...

08/06/2026: It's a family-run trattoria where we had dinner last night. Everything was delicious. The grilled fish cooked over charcoal in a wood-fired oven was sublime, as were the rest of the dishes. The pesto mayonnaise was top-notch! The service was a little slow, but worth the wait!

28/05/2026: The food is typically delicious Italian fare, presented without excessive decoration. The service was very friendly. The price-performance ratio is perfectly acceptable. The seating under the old arcades in the historic center is lovely.

26/03/2026: I'm giving it one star, and I was also being generous, as we called 30 days ago to book the room, but a few days ago we noticed flyers saying there would be an event on the same day we booked. Alarmed, we went to the company and were told by the guy there that if we had booked we shouldn't worry. Unconvinced, we returned yesterday and looked at the calendar and noticed that our reservation had been cancelled with whiteout. The response we received, after trying to pass the buck to the bartender, was that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Luckily, we found another place, but I think it's shameful to cancel a reservation without warning, especially since it was for my son's birthday party.

26/06/2026: A nice, quiet café/bar with a local touch in both its interior and clientele. It was a pleasure to enjoy a delicious cappuccino sitting outside under the awning. They also offer light meals.

07/03/2026: It's a must to leave a review, I'm not used to it... but this time it comes straight from the heart. Farinata was excellent, exceptional... I still get emotional thinking about it, it was so good. The staff was exceptional, kind (that's never a given), attentive, and so friendly. The lady accommodated the children's culinary requests with kindness and a smile. A delightful person in the workplace... that's absolutely not a given. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it for a quiet, super-tasty dinner in a simple place that truly warms the heart! White and chickpea farinata (choice of various succulent toppings) was greatly appreciated by both adults and children. Wiener and chips: a super delicious dish, cooked to perfection. Much appreciated by the refined palates of two little girls. Thank you for your exquisite kindness. Congratulations to everyone! See you soon

28/01/2026: The stuffed farinata was very, very good! The service was good, friendly, and fast! While we were waiting for the farinata, we ordered an appetizer to share, which arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! They also accept dogs!

12/07/2026: My husband and I stopped by last night and since they don't take reservations we asked for a table for two... empty tables for 4 that they wanted to share and they told us there was no room for us... never seen anything like it... we won't be back again

11/07/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm not used to writing negative reviews..... But for this place I'll make an exception. Rude, unpleasant and arrogant people. We passed by in person the afternoon of the day before to book a dinner for 9.... But they told us that they don't accept reservations and to show up; so we did, and arrived around 9pm... Being Friday evening there were many empty tables, but the owner told us that there was no room for 9; we reiterated that we could also split up, with the children (3) at another table.... But the owner, arrogantly, reiterated that there was no room for us. After a quick argument we left and went to another restaurant that welcomed us with courtesy and kindness. But that will be another review. Moral of the story.... Never again at Streghe, not even if it were the only restaurant available in Borghetto.

24/07/2026: After an afternoon stroll, we stopped here for some gelato and a refreshing drink. There's a wide selection of flavors, and while the price is obviously higher than average, it's worth it given the location and the view of the harbor. The waiters were very helpful and friendly. We also tried the coffee and were surprised by how bitter it wasn't at all.
