14/08/2025: Very nice place, attentive and kind staff, quality food

06/08/2025: Last night we had dinner at Portico and had high expectations. Unfortunately, we ordered a pizza and a pinsa, but they didn't satisfy us. The dough is decent enough, but the toppings were sparse. The pizza was anemic, meaning many parts weren't even covered in tomato sauce. The pinsa was a little better, although more like a bakery pizza. We ate them anyway, out of hunger, not taste. Never mind. We wanted to order second courses, but disappointment took over. The location is beautiful, the staff is generally friendly, but I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm also sorry that following my review, the owner responded in a truly unprofessional manner... I think reviews should be accepted, even if it helps us improve. But not everyone is a professional.

24/08/2025: Thanks to the terrace, it overlooks the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Average-quality food. Reasonable prices. Recommended for aperitifs with a view.

24/08/2025: We just returned from this vacation in Borgio Verezzi. The beach is lovely and welcomes our four-legged friends, so they can swim anytime. The hospitality is truly top-notch. Nadine and her staff await you every day with a smile and are truly available for any request. We also ate at the restaurant, which has a SPECTACULAR view (directly on the sea 😍). They make you feel right at home. Keep up the good work, guys!! Congratulations and thanks again for making our vacation wonderful. 🤗

19/08/2025: Trust this restaurant, which has just changed management and is run by young, enthusiastic people. There's still room for improvement, however. Ambience aside, the table setting could be improved. The menu offers some interesting options, some less so. The dishes were good, some a little bland. There's room for improvement...

18/08/2025: Well-mannered, young, in a unique yet captivating location, good food and a warm welcome, with prices commensurate with the quality. Worth a visit, you'll be amazed.

23/08/2025: The quality of the food is excellent, there's no arguing about that, but it's in line with nearby restaurants. The portions are very small, but what's most striking are the prices in general, especially the amaro liqueurs: a Camatti amaro costs €7. Pure madness.

31/08/2025: I've been there twice for lunch and as the manager of a very elegant restaurant I have to say that the great owner and his wife were attentive and you can see that they love their job. Breathtaking location, top-notch food... a little more service given the quality of the restaurant wouldn't be enough but obviously if the boat goes, let it go... anyway, congratulations and compliments, being there is like disconnecting from the world... and I don't want to take away the satisfaction with the shrimp ragù. Congratulations

16/07/2025: I've been wanting to go for years, and last Saturday we finally managed to make a reservation. We were greeted by orderly, smiling staff who were always attentive to our tables. The service was fast (we went early), and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

20/07/2025: We had 2 nights in July 2025. Beautiful room, with fresco. Very authentic. Cozy garden. The hostess was super sweet and welcoming, the sommelier was very knowledgeable and charming and the chef was brilliant. We had their tasting menu the first night, wonderful food, everything was really delicious. The second night we chose their vegetarian tasting menu and were blown away by a cold melon soup, it was fantastic. My warmest recommendations for both accommodation and dinner. Thank you Fif, a lovely stay

05/07/2025: My mother has been their customer for a long time, but it was my first time and I must say that it is a first time that will not be forgotten. Excellent food with excellent quality raw materials. Excellent combinations, refined, you can see that there is real attention. The environment is intimate and elegant but does not create any kind of discomfort. Excellent service

26/08/2025: This isn't our first time at this restaurant, which is undoubtedly one of the best in Celle Ligure. It offers excellent value for money. The staff is professional and friendly, as is the owner. In short, we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone.

25/08/2025: The food was okay, but we expected more. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't that good. The atmosphere was nice, though, with dancers in the background and friendly waiters.

18/08/2025: One star because zero isn't an option... in any case, I can't review the food because I didn't have the pleasure of tasting it due to the rather awkward welcome. I'm reluctant to say "Ligurian hospitality" because I'm part of this wonderful region, which has little to do with such behavior. We arrived and after waiting at least 10 minutes, we were told to move because we were crowded against a table that, rightly, complained about the lack of staff; the staff didn't examine their conscience, but instead basically blamed us in a very impolite manner. Up to this point, one might think they could be right, but if that were the case, we wouldn't have had to wait half an hour for our drink order, which never arrived anyway. We sat down, giving it another chance (which I wouldn't have given). We were handed a menu despite there being three of us, only to then be left to fend for ourselves. Seeing that almost all the tables were still unserved (they had arrived well before us), we decided to go elsewhere. If a place can't handle all its tables (there were quite a few empty ones anyway), it would be better to hire more people, or better yet, keep fewer.

08/09/2025: We ate some really delicious Neapolitan mussels, reasonable prices and a quiet atmosphere... I recommend it!

02/09/2025: A lovely restaurant in the center of Spotorno, with a spacious dining area and knowledgeable, friendly staff. The wine is good, and the seafood risotto is excellent, truly flavorful; I highly recommend it. The service was prompt despite the restaurant being packed, and the attentive service was remarkable: we were unsure about which wine to pair, and the waitress let us taste two different wines before choosing, a gesture that was much appreciated. The prices and portions were fair; we spent a total of €25 each. I'll be happy to try other dishes when I return to Spotorno.

11/08/2025: I should point out that no information was provided during the reservation regarding the presence of lactose in the pizza dough. We went to this restaurant with my family for dinner on a Saturday night. When I asked for an alternative ingredient, the waiter pointed out the presence of lactose in the dough. I asked him what the alternatives were, and he rudely replied that he was tired and hot and had no time to waste, so he sent the owner to me. I asked her the same question, and she replied, again gruffly, that it's always been done this way and will continue to be done this way, and that the only option was to order something from the kitchen because they had no other options. Honestly, I wanted to leave, but I didn't want to ruin the rest of my family's dinner, so I was forced to order a tasteless pasta dish made with frozen mussels and clams for €22, about double the price of a pizza, and I left the restaurant still hungry. When it came to the bill, the owner showed no courtesy whatsoever and actually stated that it would be better if we didn't return and that there were other places to go. This is the welcome given to a tourist in 2025 who claims to have a food intolerance in this place! If you can, stay away!

09/08/2025: Such a great pizzeria. The staff is extremely friendly and easygoing. The food is delicious. The location right by the sea is also fantastic. We highly recommend a visit there!

12/06/2025: ¿Conoces esas escenas de comedias americanas donde un personaje masculino secundario está pasando por un divorcio difícil y vive en un complejo de apartamentos para hombres recién solteros? Su amigo, el personaje principal de la historia, viene de visita, y el amigo deprimido le sirve lo único que puede encontrar en su congelador. Microondas - pizza calentada - solo para enfatizar su tristeza. Bueno, eso fue exactamente esta pizza. Todavía no puedo creer que se les permita servir esto en Italia.

08/06/2025: Recientemente visité este lugar y tuve una experiencia muy mixta. El servicio fue excelente — el personal era genuinamente amable, amable y servicial, lo que realmente aprecio. Desafortunadamente, la calidad de la pizza fue muy decepcionante. Sabía más a pizza congelada que a algo recién hecho en un restaurante. Si quisiera ese tipo de experiencia, podría haber hecho una en casa. No pedir uno en Italia. Basándome en las muchas críticas positivas que leí de antemano, tenía expectativas más altas. Lamentablemente, mi experiencia no coincide en absoluto con esas críticas. Si estás buscando específicamente una pizza genial, no recomendaría este lugar.

15/07/2025: Finally, a bar where a smile and coffee are practically free 🤣 (coffee here costs 1 euro). The staff is very friendly! They have a generous breakfast (all kinds of focaccia, croissants, and pastries) and even have milk for those with intolerances. Well done! I can't give the service 5 stars because they don't serve at your table, but it doesn't matter; they serve quickly and have plenty of seating both inside and outside.
