The food is good and cheap! The atmosphere is very casual and always busy! Reservations are recommended.

The portions are a bit large, but many find that positive. The food is good, the service is friendly and efficient, and the value for money is excellent. Go there, you'll be satisfied.

You eat well and spend little at lunch

We wanted to take a drive down the coast and explore some of the towns along the way. I was looking for a place to grab lunch where I thought we may end up for a late lunch and found Street Food Savona on Google maps. We found parking on a side street and made our way to the restaurant, their outdoor area was packed, but I noticed a couple finishing up. We went in and there wasn't a seat inside either, but I asked "Nona" for a table for two. She said there were no tables, I pointed to the couple leaving outside and she called a young lady over to clear the table for us! We can speak a little Italian, but can only understand bits and pieces, the young lady spoke English very well and brought us some water and bread. Another woman came and rattled off their menu and we heard "funghi and mare" and ordered 2, not really sure what we were getting other than mushrooms and something from the sea... A huge dish of fucilli pasta with mushrooms and a meat, vegetable reduction came out. It was amazing! We were finishing that up and getting pretty full when I told my wife that I think they were bringing another dish after this. She looked a little worried as they took our cleaned plates away. Out came about 15 smelts on two plates, perfectly, lightly fried and it was just enough to top us up! They offered some espresso afterward, but we politely declined. The last time that we had ordered like this, we ended up with a 75 euro bill! I went in and paid, I came out and showed my wife the bill.. 20 euro! She said, we're coming back here again!

Unbeatable value for money in Savona. Of course, some dishes are better than others; it's a secret to be discovered with regular visits.

Birthday dinner at Street Food Savona, stellar value. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

A truly excellent street food restaurant for the freshness of the fish. Both the first and second courses are good. The place is very familiar and the owner, Gianni, is friendly. Always busy, so it's best to book. The price is excellent.

The only thing wrong is the name! It's a family-run trattoria, where you can eat cheaply: a first course, a second course, and wine for only €10. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. But don't go there...or I'll never find a place again! :-)
