Incredible location, it feels like eating in the spiritual center of the city.
16/07/2024: Restaurant with a great reputation that is more than deserved. The dishes are excellent, the waiters are helpful and in general they were also very quick in preparing the dishes.
The elegant but not too elegant environment is very pleasant.
I recommend trying the mixed fry and the seafood pasta, both are amazing.

26/07/2024: Very good food, I would definitely go back, highly recommended, very kind staff (best fish I've eaten in my life), but the portions were a little exaggerated.
20/07/2024: Even though the place was full, the staff was very kind, the courses were served at the right time, in fact the appetizer (breaded anchovies, which I recommend) arrived almost immediately... and above all... the food was very good!! From anchovies to pasta to meat...even the pizzas I saw passing by looked great...good selection of wines...family atmosphere with the staff always smiling...I'll be back...and soon too. Advised!

22/08/2024: I ordered the cuttlefish with grilled vegetables: the quantity of the fish was paltry, as were the vegetables (4 thin slices of courgettes in a cross - not even half a courgette), which made me feel cheated.
Average starter.
What struck me about the dinner? Price too high compared to quantity and quality (being in Borgio Verezzi). At home I finished dinner.
05/08/2024: Good dishes, quality raw materials, the only flaw is staff who are not very attentive at the table.

27/08/2024: Characteristic experience with partly Sardinian cuisine given the chef who comes from Sardinia.
Change menu every month.
Inside, the management makes the room available to display artists' works.
We started with the aperitif with two typical drinks, 1 starter, 2 first courses and 1 second course accompanied by a bottle of Ligurian still white wine. We concluded with a chocolate tasting with Rum.
Total 140 euros.
We recommend booking because seats are few.
27/08/2024: Bad bad.
We were a table of people from Albissole, the service was very amateur and very cold.
The fish carbonara, instead of having bacon as per the menu, had SMOKED BACON CUBES from supermarket trays. There was a lot of it and that was all you could hear, the squids disappeared.
The starter with panissa and cheeses killed the dinner: the goat cheese was very strong and stays in your mouth for the whole meal 🤦🏻♂️ those types of cheeses are eaten at the end of the meal.
Even the pie with anchovies and pecorino had way too much cheese, the anchovies disappeared.
There are many other good fish dinners.
Restaurant for tourists.
Never again 🙅🏻♂️

04/08/2024: Two of us had dinner in early August, recommended by the hotel. Definitely an intimate place with local cuisine. We had two second courses, two sea bass with vegetables. They told us it was fresh but they didn't convince us much... it honestly looked like the frozen one. However, the dish is very small for the price paid... we will also be in Liguria and here everything is allowed but the price is not in line with the offer.
16/07/2024: Nice restaurant, friendly and understanding staff at the tables, they changed a bottle of wine for me because I didn't like it without charging me for the bottle.
Not very positive notes about the waiting times when the starter arrived at 8pm right at 8.15pm, the second course arrived at 9.05pm after my request.
Exclusively Ligurian wines and despite being Ligurian, and it pains me, but we don't have great wines and here I know I will find conflicting opinions but that's how Liguria is with wine in my opinion it doesn't know what to do... but I underline it's my point of view.
The food...I repeat, I'm Ligurian and we know our stuff but in this restaurant I haven't found anything to remember or recommend. We tasted 3 appetizers, stuffed anchovies, 4 small anchovies with little flavour, seasoned panissa, nothing special... goat's cheese, honey and jams Ni.
Ravioli au tuccu...the meat not received is not a pine nut typical of our Ligurian tuccu (ragù)
but almost anemic the color is poor in flavor, chickpea gnocchi with pesto good pasta we make pesto better in Genoa a compromise for tourists.
Second courses: cod with peppers... the steamed fish tastes like little peppers, less than a few, and a weak, uninviting dish, summer parmigiana, the name is deviant, it is a layered salad of grilled aubergine, tomato, beef heart and primo sale cheese.
In conclusion, I expected something more from a Genoese menu, being Ligurian and knowing the flavors of our land.

Servizio gentile,.tempi di attesa giusti nonostante fosse tutto pieno sia dentro che fuori, crudi eccezionali, ostriche favolose e interessanti proposte dei piatti cucinati
Prossima volta proveremo il menù degustazione che hanno preso tutti i tavoli vicino a noi e ci è sembrato molto stuzzicante

PS prenotate perché i posti sono pochi e la richiesta tanta

01/07/2024: Last night we chose the La Pesca tavern, it was a wonderful discovery!!! Intimate venue, excellent food and service, perfect portions. Among the dishes, all delicious, I mention the delicacy of the tortelli with herbs and cod, the French scallops, tagliolini with Ligurian squid, crusted monkfish! Each course deserves a hats off to the chef! The intimacy of the place and the welcome made the evening magical!

01/08/2024: We have been there for 2 days in a row, the beach and the restaurant are highly recommended.
Very friendly staff and a very friendly usher/cashier “Alberto”
It's worth it, very nice beach, crystal clear water, everything very clean - private cabins to lock up, clean showers and toilets.
We will 100% come back.

28/07/2024: Stopped by for lunch. I'm vegetarian so had the pesto linguine. Delicious, good portion.
