06/08/2025: A quiet place surrounded by greenery. We were woken by the rooster crowing. The food was natural and delicious! The owners were very kind. We highly recommend it!

Francesca and Emanuele are two special people, skilled in their work and knowing how to make the stay of those privileged to spend time on this beautiful estate a pleasant one. Infinite compliments on the food they prepare: simplicity, flavor, and a careful selection of seasonal, locally sourced products from around the agriturismo. Congratulations on everything and thank you for the fantastic experience you gave us. We're sure we'll visit you again.

26/07/2025: This place absolutely sucked. (Edit) Let me explain. Our waiter was clearly out of it (not sober) dropping cutlery all over. Incredibly bad service and about an hour waiting time for every dish. The food was just not good and also expensive. When I found glass in my tuna steak they accused me of lying saying it was salt even though it was clearly glass. No compensation whatsoever. Worst food experience I've ever had.

24/07/2025: Disappointing experience, we won't be returning. We booked through The Fork with a 20% discount, but the welcome was cold: they made us wait without explanation, unsure where to sit, despite there being free tables. Eventually, they seated us. After the appetizer and another 20-minute wait, they asked us to reorder/reschedule our dishes, and we waited another 40-50 minutes for a first and second course. It must be said that they were good and well-prepared, the only positive note. When it came to the bill, however, we were told that the 20% discount would not be applied, despite the reservation being a promotional offer. The reason? "You should have checked," but it wasn't made clear why. We therefore paid full price. Slow service, lack of clarity, and poor organization. We wouldn't recommend it.

28/04/2025: Ambiente accogliente, personale attento e cortese. Ho mangiato per la prima volta il testarolo e sono rimasta soddisfatta dalla presentazione e combinazione di gusti. Consiglierei questo locale!

17/04/2025: Ieri sera abbiamo festeggiato il diciottesimo compleanno di mia figlia tra amici e parenti , I Marchesi si confermano una realtà del nostro territorio . La sala era allestita in maniera elegante e di gran gusto , tutti gentilissimi e pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Poi ovviamente il cibo , tutti i piatti dall'antipasto al dolce preparati e serviti in maniera divina bagnati da ottimi vini . Consiglio I Marchesi con tutto il cuore e ringrazio tutti per la splendida serata.

27/06/2025: A local recommended it to us, and we're glad he did. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and especially the attentiveness of a woman who seemed to be the owner, who guided us through the experience. I hope to return soon.

21/06/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal—but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well—it just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.

03/06/2025: Locale semplice e tranquillo in posizione idolata...piatti di qualità e gustosi...lista vini ben fornita...buono il prezzo...se possiamo permetterci un appunto...era la nostra prima volta in questo ristorante ma una maggiore affabilità del personale non guasterebbe.

28/07/2025: Doesn't live up to the name "Gourmet." The pizza has a fast-food vibe, but it's okay. I'd eat pizza somewhere else in La Spezia.

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice. We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!

07/08/2025: Wonderful staff, very helpful with recommendations for activities as well as booking what you might need. Rooms were very clean, views were amazing and the breakfast may be the best I've ever had at any resort including some 5 star hotels in New York. My wife and I weren't sure we'd realize the value we paid initially, but after leaving I would say it's a great deal given what the hotel provides from a service and location standpoint. We will be returning next year.

26/07/2025: Positive experience. The restaurant is very nice with a lovely atmosphere. I think the price was fair and in line with what we ordered. I have to say, everything was excellent! Booking a table is absolutely essential.

20/07/2025: Ristorante carino, i ragazzi sono tutti molto simpatici e professionali, da notare che hanno i panigacci e testaroli fatti in casa oltre a tanti buoni piatti.

07/08/2025: An experience definitely on the lower side of the rating. Appetizer: cold cuts were pretty tasteless and cut sloppy. the gricia never met its roman counterpart or something similar (do not take it), the lamb was the only positive notes cause also the roasted potatoes were pretty meh (and that’s difficult to mess up). Wine selection awful to say the least. To sum it up a Roman restaurant where Roman pastas are crap. If you can go elsewhere, if you got no chance go for a piece of meat and save your night from disappointment.

11/07/2025: I'm delighted to return to this restaurant, and every time it feels like home. The dishes are prepared with love and tradition: you can taste all the authentic flavor of Italian cuisine, made with genuine ingredients and a lot of passion. The service is welcoming and familiar, and you can immediately sense the care and attention they give to their customers. It's one of those places where you don't just go to eat well, but also to feel good. I recommend everyone to come here, even just once: it will be hard not to want to return! 11/07/2025: Here's a possible review: "My experience at La Medusa was disappointing. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive, but the quality of the food was unfortunately poor. Despite its central location, the food didn't live up to expectations. Above all, I found the restaurant to be very touristy, and the dishes offered were geared more toward satisfying foreign visitors than representing authentic Ligurian cuisine. The authentic flavors of the region are absent, and the dishes seem to have been created more to attract tourists than to offer a true gastronomic experience. Furthermore, the prices are excessively high and not justified by the quality of the food. Overall, I don't recommend going to La Medusa if you're looking for an authentic, quality culinary experience. It's better to look for more authentic, less touristy alternatives."

02/07/2025: Beautiful discovery! We spent a beautiful weekend at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms with everything you need and good food. Ideal place for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday between the sea and the mountains at the same time. To do again!!!
