14/01/2026: My review is only for the restaurant, because we're "locals" and therefore don't care about staying overnight. Last Sunday we ate: I had ravioli with meat sauce (exceptional) and cima (delicious); my wife had tagliatelle (or similar) alla boscaiola (delicious), and chestnut frisceu (exceptional) with ricotta, stracchino (or similar), toma (or similar), all exceptional. With house wine, water, and coffee, €60. And we've been there several times before, always very satisfied.
07/01/2026: My husband and I spent New Year's Eve with a deal that included accommodation. It was an amazing experience... People from another era, like you don't find anymore... Kind and professional. The food was top-notch, and the organization, including music, was also excellent. It was so positive that we came back on Epiphany! Congratulations, Annamaria and Rinaldo!

06/02/2026: Ottone Primo is undoubtedly one of Sarzana's most popular restaurants, located under the arcades of the central Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. My wife and I dined here, sampling some excellent seafood. However, the hefty final bill certainly didn't enhance the experience. For the price of €160, with a €27 bottle of wine (two appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert), one might expect a touch more flair in the service or the dishes. Alas, this wasn't the case. I'd like to point out that the dinner went off without any particular problems (perhaps the seafood carbonara was a bit bland), but justifying and being enthusiastic after spending that much is a difficult task.

23/10/2025: Everything was absolutely delicious — from the crispy fried calamari to the pasta and the mussels, every dish was full of flavor. The wine was so good I couldn’t help but have a few extra glasses. What really made the experience even better was the amazing service from Genaro and his brother — they made us feel truly welcome. We’ll most likely come back, not only because of the food, but because of how great the whole evening was.

14/02/2026: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, truly! Light dough, quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. You can taste the passion in the kitchen.
The owner was super kind, friendly, and welcoming; he made us feel at home right away. The atmosphere is also very pleasant and the location is well-maintained.

13/02/2026: We had a midweek dinner with a couple. The place was comfortable, warm, and pleasant, with great attention to detail and cleanliness. The menu was traditional and varied, and the service was provided by young, friendly, and professional staff. I recommend trying the donkey stew; it's absolutely worth it! The orange and Campari sorbet was top-notch! The price was more than reasonable for the menu. 👍🏼 Recommended!
10/02/2026: We're in the center of town, with a free parking lot just a few meters away. The restaurant is neat, clean, and welcoming, and certainly matches the kindness and courtesy of the owner and his staff. The Piedmontese menu is excellent, although there are some foreign additions. For example, the fried calamari is excellent. The orange and Campari sorbet is superb, a perfect end to the meal. The wine list is good, and the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the ingredients used and the cuisine. Dogs are welcome.

20/02/2026: I'm stealing a friend's account because mine won't let me do it, anyway: today I had a business lunch here and found it very good, nice atmosphere, she's kind, fast and good at cooking very good mussel gnocchi and for the second course an omelette with cheese and ham made to perfection as it should be done, cooked just right with the heart. Tending towards raw. . Well done 💪🏻
29/12/2025: Wonderful experience. Characteristic place. Excellent welcome. Delicious food. Cleanliness, hygiene, and friendliness. The owner was able to satisfy our tastes by recommending some special dishes...delicious. I would give it a 10 out of 10.

High prices, and the ice cream isn't to my liking.
25/11/2025: Gelateria Corniglia is tucked away behind a pretty non-descript little portal—easy to miss unless you’re looking for it, even though there is some signage. You head downstairs and suddenly land on a surprisingly nice patio where you can sit and enjoy your gelato or whatever frozen treat you’re in the mood for. The gelato itself is solid and the setting is great for taking a break from wandering the town.
Service was… fine. Civil, but not exactly warm or welcoming. Still, it’s a good stop if you want a quiet spot to cool off and relax for a few minutes.

I thought I was going to find one of those guys that sell from a freezer in the back of a truck but it was so professional and a true fish store.
02/10/2025: Nice selection of seafood, great people working there, very friendly and will answer you're questions. I mainly come here for the live maine lobster in a water tank and tuna saku blocks. They have quality oysters and a nice freezer section filled with stuff u can't normally find. I go out of my way to go here 1.30 hour drive, worth it every time.
