04/07/2026: Excellent place to stop for a lunch or dinner with friends. Excellent value and top-quality ingredients. Always a special place to eat. I'd just avoid the table in front of the bathroom door and the one facing the kitchen. There's definitely another way to arrange the tables! It needs to be explored...

26/06/2026: Sat down on a hot evening. I greeted the server when he came over and asked for a beer, thinking he would bring the menu with the beer. Instead, he directed me to a bar nearby if I wanted a beer. I asked in italian if they didnt serve beer, wondering if that is why I was directed to go elsewhere. He told me they are a restaurant. I guess he assumed I didn't want to eat dinner. I had come there based on good reviews for food. Usually the first question is what you want to drink. I apologized for touching the napkin, since I had laid it across my lap but would no longer be staying. I left.

07/07/2026: We went expecting to find a historic and well-known restaurant in the area, but instead it was under new management and a new name. No matter, we wanted to try it anyway. As soon as we opened the door, we noticed a strong musty smell from the humidity. The place is tiny, with five round tables for four, tastefully decorated and pleasant to look at, but poorly lit. The new managers, two young men fresh out of hotel management school, probably wanted to give it a more casual feel, but with disastrous results. Extremely long waits, an hour for a first course, which arrived cold, so why bother with the presentation? The pasta was completely bland and overcooked, and it was a treasure hunt to see the fish. Too bad. Good intentions, but not enough; the target, location, and preparation were certainly wrong. Good luck.

28/06/2026: I am judging by the guests that were there before me and the pictures and I certainly wouldn't want to spend the kind of money they're asking it's designer plate service portions of miniscule I love octopus and I looked at the octopus serving and it was pitiful and I don't even want to look at the price! All the entries pictured were tiny and as if you were on a diet I'm trying to induce anorexia! The atmosphere is very nice looking pretty and polished professional, what's my Starbucks in my eyes well they say little and not adequate size of dinner! But glad they are doing well it's just not for me!

01/07/2026: We've eaten at L'OSTERIA DU CHICCHINETTU many times and have always enjoyed it. Simplicity, courtesy, and good food.

04/06/2026: A tavern with masterfully prepared traditional dishes. Recommended for a regenerating break. Impeccable and friendly staff. The tuccu is wonderful.

26/07/2026: I returned to this place after a long time. The ownership has recently changed, but the service staff remains the same: always very friendly and efficient. The pizzas are always excellent, although the menu seemed a little smaller than I remembered (the ice cream selection certainly was). The beer list is always very interesting, and the beer I ordered was truly excellent.

25/07/2026: We had dinner there; the ambiance was lovely, no complaints. The staff did their job well. The food was rather touristy. Portions were adequate. Good wine list; my wife said the Aperol Spritz was good. Relatively expensive for what was offered.

14/06/2026: A delightful surprise. Dinner with friends in the charming center of Sarzana. The welcome and service immediately put you at ease. The atmosphere is familiar, yet attentive and meticulous. Excellent ingredients and truly excellent dishes. The menu draws on tradition, with subtle yet subtle ethnic influences that add a touch of originality without straying from classic flavors—an aspect I personally greatly appreciated. Among the dishes, the lettuce leaves stuffed in chicken broth were particularly interesting, delicate yet with a distinct personality. The desserts, too, are all strictly homemade, especially the cocoa shortcrust tart with custard and fresh strawberries, truly excellent. A place I'll gladly return to. We spent less than €50 each, treating ourselves to an excellent €45 white wine.

08/06/2026: Excellent cuisine, creative, balanced, excellent products! The service was more than pleasant! Truly a gem to discover! And what's more, it's also suitable for people with celiac disease or vegetarians.

29/06/2026: Best fish in town by far! The servers were so friendly; they seem excited you are there. Much better than the grumps at the other restaurants in town.
