04/08/2024: A few evenings ago we went to the Il Mattatoio pizzeria, we have been customers for many years, and we were surprised to find the new management. All good as always, the Aurora focaccia delicious and the pizza perfect in flavor and also always perfect cooking, very refined flours are used. I recommend this pizzeria, I have never been disappointed, even in the prices. I forgot the service and the desserts, perfect.

11/08/2024: The food was phenomenal and the location is very warmly decorated. We enjoyed it so much that we came a second time. Unfortunately, the service didn't convince us: on our first visit, the service staff seemed very uninterested and we were given the wrong starter. However, we didn't have to wait that long for our food, which tasted fantastic. However, things looked different on the second visit. After ordering the food we had to wait 90 minutes for our food. After we finished eating, it took another 45-60 minutes until a waiter was in sight. We didn't manage to get their attention. We actually wanted to order desserts. After all the waiting, we didn't feel like it anymore. Conclusion: The restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The food is incredibly good and the atmosphere invites you to linger. However, you have to stay there for an eternity because the service staff seem to be overwhelmed.

18/06/2024: Vengo regolarmente da quasi due anni in questo ristorante letteralmente sul mare. Cucina strepitosa e location spettacolare. L’ambiente è talmente amichevole e familiare che ormai non siamo più clienti ma amici. Consigliatissimo!

19/02/2024: Very nice farmhouse with spacious and complete mini apartments, the food is excellent but the owners are exceptional. Mr. Andrea intensely conveyed to us the dedication and passion with which he took care of this place. During the excellent dinner, he generously explained to us the origins of each dish and the collaborations with other companies in the area, all strictly organic. We were also impressed to know that their bread (exquisite) is made with 138 year old sourdough!!! Mrs. Daria, cook (but not only) with a reassuring smile, put us completely at ease. Highly recommended.

11/08/2024: Disastrous culinary experience, fried fish made up of half potato croquettes, the oil with which it was cooked was exhausted, left there Let's try the octopus salad, only for perfect teeth, how long it lasts, left there White wine is good, 2 stars for the waitress' efforts and for the sunset. Don't dare enter the toilets, it's all at your own risk!

18/08/2024: We took a wonderful simple focaccia, excellent oil. The braids with cream and chocolate chips are a delight and so is the donut with cream. Wonderful place. Too bad we were only there for 1 day.

21/05/2024: Real and delicious focaccia. Friendly staff. A true baker so the prices are also within reach of all budgets. Highly recommended!!!

29/03/2024: Top welcome! Andrea's professionalism behind the counter and Mariachiara's explosive energy are able to keep you company both on sad and rainy evenings and on cheerful and warm ones. Excellent for aperitif time and excellent for the degree of socialization that generally occurs after dinner, tourists and citizens feel welcomed at home. TOP!

08/08/2024: Nice little restaurant in the center of Sarzana with outdoor tables. Friendly staff and good dishes! I really liked the cheek and the tagliolini with green sauce! I recommend it. Excellent value for money

31/07/2024: Awesome, cozy restaurant. Great prices (especially considering the quantity AND quality of the food). The meat was to die for (we had the steak, ribs, and pulled pork).

06/08/2024: Sensational ice cream. So many wonderful flavors and above all a sublime trifle!!!! I would just like to point out that perhaps the price of the cream (+1 euro) for each cone or medium cup (3 flavors 3 euros) can be revised downwards.

26/07/2024: Enchanting atmosphere with a medieval flavour. Excellent quality of food and wines. A relaxing and pleasant dinner for there Friendship of the owners Massimo and Raffaela. We will definitely return to Taverna l'inferno.

25/07/2024: Highly recommended. The food and wine were excellent. Massimo is a very pleasant and patient host. He is also an very good chef. Each course was beautifully prepared and served. Definitely a restaurant to visit when in Sarzana.

04/09/2024: Conoscevo questo locale da molti anni, gode di ottimo panorama ed è sempre stato un ottima scelta per una serata informale e con cucina semplice. A parte una grigliata di qualità i piatti (due primi ed un tris di antipasti) sono risultati eccessivamente artefatti e preparati. Appesantiti da accostamenti azzardati risultano poco eleganti ed hanno perso la semplicità che ricordavo. Il risotto è tornato indietro intero, non gradendo l'accostamento di gamberi a crema di limone. La calamarata tonno e pistacchio è guarnita con una burrata che appesantisce un pistacchio già di per se importante.

01/09/2024: In de bergen van Spezia ligt dit restaurant. De moeite waard voor een heerlijke avond. Wij hebben de tarbot gegeten met de lekkerste maïskolfjes ooit.

18/07/2024: We ate our next meal here, full of regional ways of serving dishes. This is not a hotel restaurant, but a traditional Italian one with a wide culinary range. At lunch time it is difficult to find a free table - due to its popularity and taste. I recommend it for people who want to immerse themselves in the local atmosphere of Italy.
