The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.
08/06/2026: Typical and authentic restaurant, funny owner/waiter who didn’t speak English and us italian but we managed to understand each other! You can see the nonna cooking from a small window and the food is simple and delicious.
Bonus point for the authenticity and the prices I would recommend this 100% instead of a shitty tourist restaurant down in Manarola

31/05/2026: The restaurant's description sounds full of itself, but it has a very short menu (nine courses in total). The prices for the ingredients (potatoes, pasta, tripe, hummus) are high, and the dishes are pretentious but actually of very average quality. The seafood sausage and pasta with oysters are mediocre, but they didn't even ask if anything was wrong, even though we left it all. Don't go there.
29/05/2026: If you stay in the area for the week, come here the very first day. Because you'll come back soon. God knows we did.

13/06/2026: Excellent food and superb service! We've eaten here three times now, and each time we've been impressed by the individual dishes and the attentiveness of the staff.
The price-performance ratio is excellent.
09/06/2026: There are two vegan pasta options. The spicy one was tasty, the other rather bland. Portions were small and the pasta was still quite hard. The service was inattentive and not very friendly.

We hiked up from Riomaggiore and it was tough, but totally worth it! Thank you 🥰
02/05/2026: We asked to use the bathroom for my wife who has health problems. I would have even bought something if I could have parked the car. A guy from the restaurant told me that we had to buy something or he might as well wet himself. The whole thing is unpleasant and unacceptable. I think a place with this kind of staff deserves to be closed down. Shame on you, it's a May Day incident.

11/05/2026: The place was very nice, the food was good but not the best. The food was tasty, but the portion was very small for the price. We paid 14 euros for a small portion of ravioli with Bolognese sauce that didn't even have any meat.

20/05/2026: 11 euro for a medium cone of mixed fried fish and veggies, shared between two people. A lil pricey, but quite tasty and a nice snack.
15/05/2026: Honestly, you can stop by... don't hesitate... Costeve froggitoria is incredibly good. It doesn't look like much, but as they say, you can't judge a book by its cover.
Treat yourself if you like fried food; it's fresh, cooked to order, and the people are super friendly. A big thank you.

17/05/2026: We went for breakfast: for 2 juices, 1 smoothie, 1 espresso, 1 croissant, and 3 slices of cake, €40. I'd say it's a bit excessive. Granted, we're in the center of Riomaggiore, the products were good and the service was fairly quick, but too much.
14/05/2026: Made the mistake of not checking the rating or reviews before ordering. Food was passable just, but I wouldn’t recommend. Also quite expensive.

23/06/2025: Non voglio fare una recensione suggestiva ma onesta per cui, a chi legge, vorrei chiedere: quanto pensi di dover pagare due piatti di trofie col pesto, una bottiglia d'acqua, due calici di vino locale e due caffè?
Datti una risposta e poi pensa che noi abbiamo pagato 60€.
Ora, archiviata la questione economica (che credo giustifichi ampiamente il titolo della recensione), passiamo a quella gastronomica.
La pasta era buona. Per essere precisa, come quella che farei a casa ma mettendoci la metà del pesto.
Con la sincerità che ha contraddistinto sinora questo feedback, va detto che il servizio è stato celere e cortese. La cameriera (che non so se sia anche la proprietaria) è stata gentilissima, non invadente, ci ha consigliato il vino in modo simpatico e cordiale. Le consiglio di fare un'esame di coscienza e rivedere i prezzi (nel caso in cui fosse la titolare) oppure di aprire un locale suo (nel caso in cui fosse una dipendente) perché ci sa fare!
Nonostante ciò, il verdetto è chiaro: locale assolutamente sconsigliato.
19/06/2025: Déjeuner en dehors des heures de repas ! Très sympa petit restaurant et patronne. Salade lasagne pâtes Pesto, tout était super bon ! Trop en quantité ! Une bonne adresse
