26/02/2025: Stamattina trovato una cameriera maleducata. Ho detto alla cassa di aver consumato brioche marmellata. La cameriera mi ha risposto di che marmellata si trattasse e io ho risposto c'è non avevo specificato. Mi ha risposto se non mi ricordo neppure che cosa ho mangiato. Lascio a voi le conclusioni.

04/12/2024: Barista da licenziare in tronco, gentilezza sotto le scarpe, risponde male e ti dice di servirti da solo. Le bibite sono nel frigo mi ha detto!!! Chiaramente ho preso la porta che era affianco, non mi ci vedono più!!!!

26/07/2025: Un restaurant très accueillant, une decoration très chic avec des nappes et des serviettes en coton et une serveuse très agréable. Enfin les plats sont très bien élaborés, en entrée nous avons pris des fleurs de courgette en beignets qui étaient délicieux et des raviolis et un tartare de bœuf tout aussi succulents avec des frites maison. Un petit dessert pour couronner le tout. Une très belle expérience ! A recommander!

25/06/2025: We arrived late, but a piece of focaccia would have been enough… they sat us down. There was only one first course left: pasta with aubergines, but due to a strong allergy we couldn’t eat it. We opted for two second courses: dry omelette roll (last available portion) and rubbery and flavourless chicken, but both served with well-cooked potatoes. We ordered a beer and soda (panaché) and a can of sprite and a small beer in a medium glass arrived. It makes a better impression to say it’s not there: €5.80 is too much. Cost: €26.50

02/07/2025: We went to lunch at this restaurant on a Wednesday, and we were immediately struck by the low turnout (only two other tables occupied). Confident about the promising menu, we sat down anyway. The beginning seemed positive: good focaccia and vegetables to welcome us. Unfortunately, the disappointment came with the main courses: spaghetti with lobster and mixed fried fish. Tiny portions and questionable quality. The pasta was a simple tomato sauce, completely tasteless, with a completely raw lobster cut into large pieces on top. The fried fish? Practically non-existent: there was more absorbent paper on the plate than fish. After politely expressing our disappointment, the waiter took away one of the dishes still unfinished, without even asking us anything. Unprofessional behavior. Bare place, unkempt tables. And only at the end of lunch did we realize we were the only Italians there... a detail that makes you think. Definitely a negative experience. High prices, quality and service to be reviewed. I conclude by saying that after spending 64 euros for two we got up to finish lunch in another restaurant

01/08/2025: The food was really good. The service however not. Long waiting times. The food was not served together for a party of 6 people. We claimed twice that the spaghetti vongole were too small (just three forks). We asked to get another plate. No reactions at all. We had a Branzino for 4 people. Far too small. Would have been OK for 2 max 3 people. Every request took long waiting times. Espresso as well. The seating is on this metal chairs, which for sure is not comfortable. Overall apart form the food itself, which was good, not a good impression. Would not consider to go there again.

22/07/2025: Bordering on scammy. Almost all the fish in the main courses is priced by the kilo. It's a shame that no one shows it to you before or after cooking, much less weighs it when they offer it to you. So, if you don't notice, you magically end up spending 20, 30, or 40 euros more because the fish you eat has a different weight than what they advertised. Let's leave aside the description on the tray of stale bread that you have to mix with a good gulp of water to get it down. The Caraaccio isn't bad, it's a shame it's drowned in lemon, so much so that it covers the delicate fish... FOR GOODNESS...

24/03/2025: Non mi ha accettato un pagamento con il bancomat per un importo di 8,50 euro! .. sono dovuto uscire e prelevare e tornare per saldare, inaccettabile!!! Esistono metodi di pagamento a commissioni zero sotto i 10 euro, informatevi! La mia scelta di usare il bancomat è legittima, e sancita da una legge di 10 anni fa. Non tornerò e dirò a chi conosco di fare lo stesso.

10/08/2025: Not bad. Maybe because it's summer, when everyone goes on vacation, I saw the staff cleaning. Honestly, I would have preferred to eat without the smell of disinfectant. The food wasn't bad. There was still a lot of dirt, like on the table or floor, and I hope it doesn't stay that way all year round.

07/08/2025: A beautiful place, but unfortunately, given the "standing" it aims to maintain, it falls short in some respects, specifically in the following areas: - Tables in the gazebos with rust spots - Side curtains on the gazebo partially missing. - Dirty/stained sun lounger mattress (we asked for it to be replaced, and it was promptly replaced with apologies for the inconvenience). - Bathroom hygiene needs updating (lack of toilet paper in the women's bathroom and cleanliness needs improving). In my opinion, the price paid doesn't match what's offered. Considering that the price for 5 hours (from 2 pm to 7 pm) is €137, I would have expected greater quality and attention to service. It wouldn't take much, especially considering the number of gazebos (28), to make this beach truly the "gem" and most exclusive beach in Santa Margherita, as advertised. I'd also like to point out that we purchased a thermal water bottle. It's very nice looking, sporting the bathroom logo, but it doesn't keep the water cold at all, even though it was guaranteed to work properly at the time of purchase. (Please avoid making any comments without first having verified your claims, to avoid disappointment.) Regarding the restaurant, since we didn't eat there, I can't express any opinion, but having read the dishes offered and given the location, I feel compelled to give a positive review. Another positive note was the receptionist, who demonstrated courtesy and professionalism. P.S.: I've changed my rating from 3 to 2 stars because I'd like to point out that after just 12 days, the thermal water bottle has rust spots on both the cap and the inside (as shown in the photo). This is absurd; it's unsafe to use, as you risk drinking rust.

01/08/2025: This year, like last year, we chose this beach resort for its proximity to home and the gazebos, but we discovered at the start of the season that the management had changed. We immediately had problems with bookings: we therefore decided to start with a week, from Monday, June 30th to Sunday, and this already created problems because the weekly stay, for which we had been asked to pay €1,250 in advance, could not be made due to the different rates between the months of June and July. Therefore, we immediately paid €1,400 for the Monday of June and the week from Tuesday to the following Monday (July). Unfortunately, due to force majeure (bad weather), we lost three days of the booked period, so my husband asked the manager if we could make up the days on other days. He was told that we could only make up two, and although we didn't fully agree, we accepted (at €200 per day). When we rebooked for the two-day make-up session, we were told we were only booking one day, not two. At that point, we replied that we wouldn't be willing to negotiate like in a Marrakech souk, and that in a €200-a-day establishment, customers deserve a service that's proportionate and worthy of the price they pay. Bottom line: three paid days wasted and service subpar due to incompetence and a lack of professionalism, but above all, lost customers.

02/11/2024: Pizza di ottima qualità. Cottura in forno a legna. Servizio attento e veloce. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze : una alle melanzane e una ortolana in questo locale "storico" di Cogoleto, dove non andavo da quasi trent'anni! Ne avevo però un ottimo ricordo di gioventù e non posso che confermare l' esperienza positiva anche a tutt'oggi! Sicuramente torneremo !

19/10/2024: Prezzi alti, ingiustificati, soprattutto per la qualità a dir poco scarsa, per mia fortuna mi sono limitata ad un antipasto: bresaola con rucola e formaggio: fettine di bresaola che più spesse non si può "nervose" tanto da rendere difficile la masticazione, (e vi assicuro ho un' ottima dentatura), una manciata di rucola e fettine di formaggio scadente non certo scaglie di Parmigiano, il tutto potevi condirlo a tuo piacere con olio in BUSTINE. Da bere se vuoi del vino, ti devi accontentare di un buon vino scadente altrimenti hai la possibilità di scegliere un calice al prezzo aggiuntivo di 6 o 8€. Praticamente un antipasto, come quello descritto,e un calice di vino 28€.

10/08/2025: This is a wonderful location and the service was fantastic. San Fruttuoso can feel a bit crowded so coming to this restaurant was a nice escape from the madness. The dishes are diverse and the wine fantastic. I will continue to come back here. Bravo

09/08/2025: The pasta was just okay and the portion was on the smaller side. The seafood pasta was the biggest let-down — lots of bits and shells, and the largest shrimp was completely empty. Prices feel high for what you get, though to be fair, there aren’t many other places to eat in the area. And they brought bread to the table, which was later added to the bill, even though we didn’t order it.

05/08/2025: The pizza is good, but they're providing completely incorrect information about wait times. Reading the other reviews, it makes me think they're lying knowingly. "How long is the wait?" "20 minutes" - you order and pay IN ADVANCE- 40 minutes later, the pizzas are still listed as "in line"; nothing else is known. If you hadn't already paid, you'd cancel your order and go elsewhere. The suspicion of fraud is hard to rule out; in any case, the service was terrible.
