04/05/2025: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends, taking a small detour from the A7 towards Milan. Fixed menu guarantees all-you-can-eat starters, first course, second course, bitters, coffee and dessert. Owner Pietro very helpful and careful not to leave us without food. Tavern atmosphere, 3 of us paid €120. RECOMMENDED!

16/05/2025: Good pizza. The first course started badly, the pasta seemed like the second choice at the supermarket, it seemed overcooked but I think this mistake by a person is impossible. The worst disappointment was "spaghetti el paso" described as follows: "cherry tomatoes, anchovies, olives, capers and breadcrumbs" they are simple spaghetti with tomato sauce (the tomato sauce is very good and if they were spaghetti with tomato sauce they would be 3 stars) but among the ingredients they talk about anchovies, they put 2 on top of the spaghetti, a disappointment. Too bad. I recommend ordering only the pizzas, those are worth it.

16/05/2025: A pub where mainly locals eat. Food prices are lower than in the more "touristy" center. Although drinks are expensive as everywhere ;) The food is tasty and the quality of the cuisine of this place may indicate that it is full in the evenings. Pasta plus 1/2l of house wine 30€/2 people

11/05/2025: I'll try to be concise! Excellent food Breathtaking view Colorful staff :)… typical Ligurian but it fits! The owner's character is eccentric but nice and if you understand her way, you'll even have a laugh... Finally a restaurant without the anxiety and hassles of double shifts! which today many restaurants do without being able to enjoy lunch or dinner! Reachable in 10 minutes on foot, by bike or if you are lazy with the car!

12/05/2025: I usually have an aperitif there and the food is plentiful. I also bought some pastries and they were very good. It is a historic place in Chiavari, one of those places that does everything, tea room, bar, pastry shop, wine shop.

27/04/2025: Top rice cake! Average service, good prices. Perhaps the choice of savory products could be improved, but we are a bit out of season. Thanks, we'll be back.

20/04/2025: I purchased some focaccia, but unfortunately the one that was sold to me turned out to be "toasted", in other words I was given some unsold focaccia from the day before. I am aware that nowadays nothing is thrown away and I am the first to support this principle, but I do not consider it correct behavior towards a customer who pays for a fresh product. My experience with this oven ends here.

29/05/2025: The food has nothing to do with all these pictures here anymore. I visited this restaurant a few days ago together with some friends. It was the worst treatment we have had in years! And, believe me, we have visited quite a few restaurants in Italy—Rome, Naples, Florence, Savona, Milan, etc. We were attracted by the soup advertised for 5 EUR in the window, but once seated we were told it actually costs 10 EUR, as the price displayed on the restaurant door refers to a small portion which doesn’t exist on the menu. We received an English menu printed on two sheets of paper, while Italian customers at other tables were given much more extensive menus in Italian, with many more dishes that were not listed on our menu. The same happened with drinks—we asked for beer and were told it was only available in bottles (5 EUR), only to later see Italian customers being served draft beer. I wonder if the prices were the same... I asked for baccalà with potatoes and requested if they could substitute the potatoes with another dish from the menu, fagiolini con patate. They said nothing—not about my request nor about the price—and what I received is shown in the picture: boiled fish with canned green beans—no potatoes at all. Lousy service, lousy food, horrible place. Too bad for us, and too bad for them, as we will never return here during our stay in Genoa—which is, by the way, a fabulous city indeed. At least if they hadn’t had the nerve to ask at the end if everything was alright… No, nothing was alright.

25/05/2025: In the heart of the historic center of Genoa, an oasis of unmissable Sicilian flavors!! All homemade prepared at the moment. Excellent arancini, as well as gnocchi with swordfish, aubergines and almonds. The desserts are amazing...my favorite is the warm ricotta and chocolate cake. Well done👏👏

24/04/2025: Absolutely Delicious – A Must-Visit Spot! Had dinner here last night with my boyfriend and we were both seriously impressed. We ordered two burgers—one was a triple stack, and the other was a single packed with bacon, onion, cheese, and BBQ sauce. Both were cooked to perfection—the meat was juicy, full of flavor, and clearly top quality. The fries and onion rings were crispy and golden, just the way they should be. We finished off with a tiramisu and a pacotta, and wow—both desserts were incredibly fresh and so tasty. You can tell everything is made with care. The staff were lovely too: super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Can’t recommend this place enough—great food, great vibes, and really great people. We’ll definitely be back!

29/04/2025: We had a very good time. Friendly and pleasant environment. The offer is varied and inviting. We took 2 salads, the ingredients were excellent. And then... may he always be blessed who puts focaccia on the table.

17/03/2025: I think this place is much better for lunch. I went there for breakfast and ordered avocado on toast to takeaway and some pancakes with ham and cheese. It’s clear from the pictures that no effort has been put into the avocado on toast and the cheese or ham were not even warm or melted. Pancakes were ok but were a very small portion size.

21/03/2025: I decided with my nine year old daughter to cuddle with her and go eat some fish 🐟, since I had never had the chance to go to Alfredo today would have been the right day!!! Even though the lady who served was kind and sweet we repeatedly emphasized that since there were two of us we would have shared the appetizer and then the second course but alas she didn't understand and after a good 37 minutes the appetizer and the second course were brought to us together! Oh well! But after 37 minutes and very hungry I found myself with a salad completely covered in oil, same thing for the fried food given the price I expected a smaller portion but fresh fish! In short, after €60 for two dishes and over a half hour wait for the cold appetizer I can't help but say this!!! I'm sorry because it's really nice and inside it has an air of home!!!

06/06/2025: Asked us how many we are and they saw we have 2 kids but then they never got back to us for a table. I guess reservation is a must when you come to this town in Genova!

06/05/2025: Ho pranzato con un collega in questo ristorante e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente. Come primo ho preso una pasta al ragù: la pasta era completamente scotta e il ragù troppo liquido. È sorprendente che un ristorante possa sbagliare un piatto così semplice. Come secondo ho ordinato una braciola con patate: la carne era piccola, ritirata, secca e durissima, mentre le patate erano parzialmente bruciate. Il mio collega ha preso le polpette al ragù, anch’esse molli e senza sapore. Le ho assaggiate anch’io e confermo la scarsa qualità e l’evidente mancanza di cura nella preparazione. Abbiamo lasciato quasi tutto nel piatto, preferendo non mangiare. Ho segnalato il problema della carne, come rimborso, ci è stato applicato uno sconto di 3 euro: in due abbiamo pagato 23 euro invece dei 26 previsti per i menù fissi. Giudicate voi dalla foto.

13/06/2025: The pizza was great, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely good. The service was also excellent.
