While taking a walk along the Recco seafront you can enjoy delicious focaccias, rice cakes like grandma's, "old-fashioned" fillings and delicious sweets. All overlooking the sea and exchanging a few chats with the managers of the place. Young, pleasant staff and everyone really welcoming and friendly. After discovering this place by the sea we return whenever we can! Other notable advantages: non-stop cooking, so even if you arrive in the late afternoon you can eat or have a snack and... cat friendly! We came with Priscilla and were greeted in one of the kindest ways we have ever experienced. Thanks to everyone! Highly recommended!

I remembered better... but memories from many years ago. However friendly, renovated place, slightly greasy focaccias. Biagio's shack still remains.

Shack on the promenade. The lady is very nice and quick. They fry focaccia with stracchino. They are not delicious but for a day in Recco by the sea they are fine. Prices ok...

Spartan restaurant on the Recco seafront, courteous staff, very crowded place. I honestly expected much better. Very high prices and small portions. After eating I went to the bakery to fill myself up.

menú molto limitato ma veramente buono: ottima focaccia di Recco anche pizzata con qualche dolce, noi abbiamo scelto la classica torta 🍰 della nonna che era buonissima. prezzi moderati e ragionevoli.

Da Biagio torno e ritorno spesso e mi sono stupito della tante recensioni negative e sospetto si tratti di persone che a) non conoscono il prodotto o b) pensano di essere capitati in un posto diverso da quello che è. La barachetta di Biagio è, come dice il nome, una baracchetta (ora rinnovata) che propone piatti semplici con un servizio semplice, in un contesto spartano e con prezzi tutto sommato popolari. Insomma, masterchef di qua non passa e va benissimo così.

Sono stato a pranzo presso questo famosissimo ristorante storico di Recco sul lungomare con tavoli interni con vista sul mare. Ho preso una porzione dell’autentica focaccia al formaggio di Biagio ma non mi è piaciuta molto bruciacchiata ai bordi ed un pò dura e non molto buona. Personale gentilissimo cordiale il servizio attento e veloce e prezzi buoni!!

15/03/2024: Stopped for lunch here attracted by the Gluten Free sign on the door. Once the staff understood my condition (Celiac) they had many options including Genoese gnocchi with pesto, bread and wine. Very good and I know most GF substitutes are not the best. Grazie for making this cuisine available to people living with Celiac!
28/01/2024: The owner was good and very kind for an excellent breakfast. Good brioches and focaccia, coffee and cappuccino.

12/02/2024: Siamo rimasti incuriositi dal locale con le luci nel cortile e volevamo provare la cucina. Ottima accoglienza e gentilezza da parte del personale, composto tutto da ragazze. Anche la spiegazione dei piatti è stata esauriente. I piatti scelti, di pesce, molto buoni. Un pochini cari nel prezzo i primi piatti.
13/09/2023: Un restaurant élégant avec un service irréprochable. C'est aussi le meilleur fritto misto de Santa Margherita! Des assiettes copieuses et savoureuses qui méritent le détour. Bref, une cuisine typique de Ligurie qui a tout pour séduire les plus exigeants. Mieux vaut réserver à l'avance pour une table dans le jardin. Une valeur sûre. Nous reviendrons!
