13/10/2025: On Sunday, without a reservation, we were greeted warmly. We ate wonderfully, truly traditional cuisine: the ravioli with a touch were excellent, the polenta with goat stew (a superb dish), the boiled meat served with salsa verde (very good) and Cremona mustard, and the desserts were perfect. The service was courteous and prompt. The prices were absolutely reasonable. Congratulations, we'll be back soon.

12/10/2025: We stopped by with our motorbike a little while ago.. we ate burgers and salad.. really excellent.. the owner and the staff are very kind.. highly recommended

13/09/2025: We went at night, and the staff were fed up, tired, or sick because the service was poor and the place was already very dirty. The food was average.

09/06/2025: Genoese Panettone super good and rich in ingredients, delicious chocolate kisses and lady kisses. Gifted to relatives in Sardinia who were very happy. Highly recommended.

11/04/2025: We purchased some simple focaccia, some focaccia with stracchino and some small pizzas which are always handy while walking 😜 All very good and with more than honest prices 😊

06/11/2025: A restaurant near the center of Sarzana offering daily and à la carte menus. A good selection of dishes; I had spaghetti allo scoglio for lunch. It tasted good, but the seafood was a bit limited. Average value for money.

30/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way down from the Sarzanello Fortress. We'd noticed it while driving by. On our way back, we stopped in, and it was a wonderful surprise. Friendly staff, excellent food, and a pleasant location. Highly recommended. Excellent value.

19/10/2025: Discovered by chance today. Authentic Genoese dishes, delicious and light! I hadn't had such pesto mandilli in years, not to mention the Ligurian-style rabbit! The view is magnificent and the attentive staff treated us like family... What can I say, we'll definitely be back!

08/09/2025: Excellent venue with a fabulous location. We attended a wedding there and had a wonderful time. The dishes are excellent and elaborate.

13/09/2025: I went with my partner to enjoy the beach and have a good time. I settled down quietly on the right side of the beach. A man finally told me that it was a private beach and that the left side was not private. Respectfully, I moved to the left side of the beach, on the Playa 79 section. I'd barely settled in when the lifeguard at Playa 79 came over to me to tell me, once again, that it was a private beach. I calmly asked him where the sign or marker indicating this prohibition was. He told me he would call his manager. That's when a woman arrived, extremely rude and aggressive, speaking to us as if we were nothing. Knowing that I didn't speak Italian, I tried to communicate in English, but she didn't care at all. At one point, another man, very aggressive, approached me directly and began insulting me violently. As a French tourist, I wasn't aware that so-called "private" beaches existed with such aggressive behavior and no clear signage. So I packed my bags and went straight to the nearest police station to file a complaint against the Playa 79 staff—specifically, against this woman and man who seem to believe they are above the law. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially in a supposedly tourist-friendly area.

01/08/2025: Weer een ervaring rijker. Lijkt alsof ik in een aflevering van Fawlty Towers terecht kom. NO GO. Gastvrijheid was er niet.

01/08/2025: Ik heb nog nooit zo’n onbeschoft personeel meegemaakt, we hebben fles wijn besteld en een cola die pas na 20 minuten kwamen toen we de 2de keer hadden gevraagd waar ons drinken is. Voordat we ons drinken kregen vroegen ze al om eten te bestellen. Het voorgerecht was prima, ik had de laatste hap in m’n mond en ze stonden al met het hoofdgerecht terwijl de net leeg gegeten borden er nog stonden, die werden zo uitgewisseld en dooreten. We hadden er wat van gezegd dat we t niet oké vonden dat we niet eens ons voorgerecht fatsoenlijk konden op eten voordat t volgende eraan kwam. Het personeel kon dat niet waarderen en waren onbeschoft en begonnen te hard en intimiderend te praten “wil je het eten of niet anders gaat t terug naar de keuken maar je gaat t wel betalen”. We konden geen antwoord geven en ze pakte onze onaangeraakte borden weg. Ze zei tegen ons dat de keuken om 9 uur dicht gaat, vonden we raar dat t niet vermeld was wanneer er om half 9 naar binnen kwamen. We gingen betalen en er waren 2 nieuwe tafels die gewoon rustig nog eten konden bestellen om half 10. We vroegen waarom wij zo snel moesten zijn en we kregen t antwoord “Is het jouw restaurant?”. Zeer onbeschoft persoon, geen reclame voor de horeca Italië, schande. Als je een leuke gezellige avond wilt met een leuke sfeer van de personeel zou ik hier niet heen gaan. Geen woorden voor het personeel, het was niet normaal… Ze willen zoveel mogelijk geld uit de tafels halen, klant is niet koning maar klant moet opschieten en wegwezen. Voor de “oudere” t is alsof je in een extreme aflevering van Fawlty Towers terecht komt.

04/08/2025: The BEST coffee in all of Savona!! Quality, courtesy, and the best macchiato I've ever had!!! The atmosphere is refined, with background music perfect for a relaxing breakfast! Top!

11/11/2025: They cancel an order made through the app and when I arrive to collect it they tell me that nothing has arrived and that it is better for me to reorder there directly... It is not done like this, it is unfair to the consumer who wastes time. They will never see me but not even on Saturday evening did they see me, I went elsewhere

14/10/2025: The pizza was dry, only the color of the tomato was there, with a sweetish aftertaste. The end.

27/09/2025: In March 2025, at dinner, we were offered the "Rossetti" (tiny, almost transparent fish) because March is the season. We were greatly disappointed to receive fritters made almost entirely of batter... with a homeopathic content of "Rossetti" (red fish). The Ligurian-style minestrone, however, was good, with pesto on the bottom of the plate. Overall, a rather disappointing experience.

16/11/2025: Family atmosphere, precise, punctual, and fast service. Excellent quality of dishes with generous portions. Marco, the chef and owner, is a true cooking enthusiast who brings his love for his craft to life in his creations. Special praise goes to the pasta alla Nico, which has an incredible flavor that I will never forget! See you soon, congratulations, and best of luck with this wonderful venture!

23/08/2025: Stumbled upon this place by chance, in tourist mode... we met the owner who took the time to explain the little dishes he prepares and the products... so we took a board and pasta, aperol with and without alcohol... well, nothing to complain about, everything was very good... to try.

05/08/2025: Prices haven't increased. Two beach loungers cost €25 per day. The food is good. The beach is spotless.

27/07/2025: After a few years of absence, I returned to Bagni Gianni for the second consecutive year, and I'm pleased to confirm that it's truly special. The family-run business is its true strength: professionalism, attention to detail, and friendliness create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a truly comfortable vacation. The restaurant is a real surprise: tasty, carefully crafted dishes of a quality that surpasses that of many renowned restaurants in the area. Simple cuisine, but made with love and excellent ingredients. The bar also deserves a special mention: excellent focaccias, fresh croissants, excellent coffee, and carefully prepared cocktails, always served with kindness and a smile. Special praise goes to Fabio, who manages the beach with obsessive attention to cleanliness and order. Every detail is taken care of, and it shows!
