08/12/2025: Why so many... Friday, November 28th, dinner in a very welcoming, small, and intimate restaurant with stone walls, typical of Genoa's alleys. We spent €56 including the €20 discount on the Fork. We had two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, and a bottle of water. I'd say the price was right. The appetizer was a generous and delicious steak tartare, and the octopus salad. Perhaps the olives, a bit too much, covered the flavor of the octopus. The first course was pansotti and spaghetti with seafood sauce and arugula, delicious, and the dessert was delicious. Why...? Negative comments about the service? As far as I'm concerned, it was fast enough, attentive, helpful, and I'd add friendly. Congratulations, in fact. We're in Genoa, so if you're expecting the holidays, it's better to go somewhere else.

12/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato fuori nel dehor personale attento e preparato. 2 antipasti 2 secondi vino pigato (hanno portato secchiello con ghiaccio), piatti molto belli alla vista e ottimo pesce. Prezzo giusto per il contesto (100 euro)

19/11/2025: Excellent excellent pizzeria. Order 3 pizzas, cinque stagione, paesana & maiala & wine, which all went down incredibly well. (And only €36). The stagione & paesana were stand outs. Beautifully flavoured, olives & artichokes adding the salt, peppers & onions tasting sweet. The salami & ham you could tell was of good quality. They also bought over olive & chilli oil. I had a good old research on places to eat before heading out & I thought this place, from the pictures looked like a glorified takeaway joint… Far from it upon arrival. Spacious, clean, well lit, so we changed our minds from another eatery I had earmarked & went on in! … Walked out not regretting a thing!… And satisfactorily stuffed! Thank you ever so much folks. Grazie Mille. A very nice evening.

13/11/2025: With the change of management, things have changed a bit, good pizzas, fair prices but home delivery service has been penalized if you are not in the center but live in the suburbs they do not deliver...

09/11/2025: Very good! Excellent pasta dishes. Appetizers (fried food or ham) are perfect to start the meal. A friendly and helpful team. A great place to enjoy delicious local specialties.

26/10/2025: Are you in Rapallo and want some fish? DO NOT go to Papisca Mare! Mediocre food (and that's a compliment), very polite waiters, and an arrogant and rude owner. Not to mention the atmosphere: the tables on the street are like those at the bar next to the train station. An experience not to be repeated!

22/10/2025: A beautiful location with a sea view. A wide selection of delicious and excellent dishes, including the catch of the day. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would gladly return.

18/10/2025: We wanted an aperitivo. They kindly told us to choose our drinks and then offered San Carlo fries or a "fritturina." A few calamari and fried vegetables cost €26, bringing the total to €42 with a Ceres and an alcoholic drink. It was good, but it would have been better to let them know the price in advance, and anyway, it can't be that expensive.

25/08/2025: We stopped by for an aperitivo...a prosecco for €6, a Spritz for €8. Only two fries, poor service, and nonexistent service. Now I understand why it's always empty. Avoid.

24/08/2025: Nice location, but overall the food was average; nothing to write home about, either positive or negative. The price is a bit high for the quality, but you pay for the location.

15/11/2025: Very good pizza, the skills of the bald pizza chef amazed me and I ate a pizza half whole wheat and half normal, with lots of stracciatella, recommended if you have strong stomachs because, not finding the bathroom, I had to keep my muscles not relaxed to avoid unpleasant odors, the service of Alessia Toosa and Andrea Toosa was very professional but no one told me the bathroom anyway.......

26/10/2025: Pizzeria almost exclusively for takeaway with a few tables to eat on site, friendly owners, excellent pizzas, punctual and courteous service... recommended

10/03/2025: purtroppo avrei voluto fare una bella recensione, ma x la seconda volta ad un’ora decente (19.15 l’8 marzo scorso una volta e 12 la precedente qualche settimana fa) abbiamo chiamato x prenotare ma… “eh mi dispiace ma stiamo chiudendo… (??) “ e “ no siamo pieni” allora mi affretto a dire… siamo solo due e ci basta un insalata…. e la risposta … da ligure … come solo io che sono ligure capisco… no mi spiace …e niente ….non RIUSCIAMO. mah ok .. ho capito !!siamo alle solite! accoglienza genovese… peccato. credo che non proveremo piu … ho abitato a pra quando prima del porto c’era il mare … quello bello!! ci ho imparato a nuotare … lì davanti…volevo tornarci… anche solo x un pasto veloce. ma credo che non chiameremo più! in bocca al lupo di passaggio!!! 😃🥹

01/03/2025: Home cooking. Overall, the food is good. We're not in the center of Genoa, but if you're nearby (Genova Pra'), it's worth stopping for lunch.

29/08/2025: My favorite restaurant in Liguria. A gem. An exceptional welcome, tables with breathtaking views, delicious dishes (I always ask for something special for a starter: prosciutto and mozzarella, and then, always, spaghetti ale vongole). Tomorrow I'm going there for the third time in a week, which is saying something.

20/08/2025: My boyfriend and I ate at this restaurant two nights ago, and from the moment we entered, we immediately felt welcomed by the entire staff, which is not a given. The attention to detail is the strong point of this heavenly place, with a view of the sea and the entire city. The lighting is soft, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The service is truly impeccable. Nothing to complain about; we had a great time. It's slightly above the average prices of other places, but in my opinion, it's highly recommended if you want to treat yourself to a treat on such a beautiful evening. If we'd had the chance, we'd have returned. It's a 10 for us, and it's a place we've always loved!

06/10/2025: Last night, my partner and I, while visiting Imperia, dined at this restaurant, which undoubtedly deserves recognition for its willingness to offer vegan options. We had seitan escalopes with mushrooms, the seitan having a very soft texture and the mushrooms being passable but a bit watered down, and a black cherry-flavored gelatine, which I assume is a packaged version from a well-known brand we vegans know well. Overall, the dinner was passable, but what I find less than acceptable is the lack of transparency in the prices of the vegan dishes offered. Customers aren't supposed to ask for the price of each dish, and there's no justification for this omission.

18/09/2025: We had dinner this evening. We ate very well, and the location was fantastic. Our feet in the sand, the sea lapping in the background. Laigueglia is a beautiful, human-sized town, and this evening, thanks to the delicious dinner, good wine, and discreet service, will remain in our hearts.

04/10/2025: The owners are very friendly and approachable. The pizza and food are excellent, and the homemade desserts and bread are also appreciated. Table service is provided by a somewhat unconventional but friendly waitress.

26/08/2025: We returned after a few years, hoping to try some of the dishes we'd always remembered, like the mussels marinara and the spaghetti with seafood, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Prices have risen significantly, while the quality has significantly declined: the mussels were too few at €18, while the spaghetti with clams (€20) tasted like nothing, like eating plain spaghetti with no sauce, and half the clams tasted like they'd gone bad. It's a shame, we'll never return.

22/08/2025: I've known this restaurant for years, and it's always a pleasure to return. I recently went with friends and we had a wonderful evening, topped off with excellent dishes (from appetizers to pizzas and focaccias, and even excellent value for money seafood entrees!) and excellent house wine. The owners are friendly and helpful, as is the staff. Highly recommended for an evening filled with an authentic and pleasant atmosphere.
