26/08/2025: We returned after a few years, hoping to try some of the dishes we'd always remembered, like the mussels marinara and the spaghetti with seafood, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Prices have risen significantly, while the quality has significantly declined: the mussels were too few at €18, while the spaghetti with clams (€20) tasted like nothing, like eating plain spaghetti with no sauce, and half the clams tasted like they'd gone bad. It's a shame, we'll never return.

22/08/2025: I've known this restaurant for years, and it's always a pleasure to return. I recently went with friends and we had a wonderful evening, topped off with excellent dishes (from appetizers to pizzas and focaccias, and even excellent value for money seafood entrees!) and excellent house wine. The owners are friendly and helpful, as is the staff. Highly recommended for an evening filled with an authentic and pleasant atmosphere.

06/11/2025: The classic home-style trattoria where you can enjoy yourself and spend little. Exceptional.

25/08/2025: We stopped by for an aperitivo...a prosecco for €6, a Spritz for €8. Only two fries, poor service, and nonexistent service. Now I understand why it's always empty. Avoid.

24/08/2025: Nice location, but overall the food was average; nothing to write home about, either positive or negative. The price is a bit high for the quality, but you pay for the location.

08/11/2025: From the food to the atmosphere, everything was really good. The prices are fair, especially considering that it’s located almost in the city center.

26/10/2025: 1x not 2x The pizza is nothing like Italian pizza. The cheese is disgusting. We ate two too many slices... the interior smells like a urinal and isn't very clean. We went to eat elsewhere.

24/09/2025: Tried it on Thursday evening, September 13, 2025. Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very good farinata and pizzas. The only downside is the slightly long wait for the dishes.

10/09/2025: My wife and I ordered two pizzas here on our last night in Spotorno. We were delighted with the pizzas, the wine was delicious, the only thing was that we had to wait a long time for the food to come to us, but considering everything else, we can overlook that.

19/09/2025: We were truly satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, attentive to guests' needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is excellent. The beach is also a convenient option. Thanks to Mr. Repetto and all his staff. We will definitely be back.

14/09/2025: The hotel is in a beautiful location, but unfortunately our experience wasn't a positive one. The photos online don't reflect reality: they show an outside restaurant, while with the guesthouse, meals are served in a basement. The menu is limited and monotonous. Our room had a faulty toilet that kept making noise; despite reporting it and attempting to have it repaired, the problem was never resolved. Finally, the icing on the cake: they even charged us for a beach towel. Overall, we didn't enjoy our stay and wouldn't return. Parking is excessive at €20.

08/11/2025: This is really just my personal opinion. I'm sorry, but I can't be satisfied with the disappointing quality/price ratio. Located in a perfect spot above Sestri Ponente, nothing particularly beautiful, but not bad either. 2 rooms with as many seats as they can fit... Traditional set menu. Appetizers with objectively mediocre cured meats, stuffed with Genoese-style vegetables and stuffed with potatoes, which I disliked. The fish salad was flavorless, and the anchovies marinated in vinegar were very good. Good first courses: seafood risotto with pink shrimp, calamari, and mussels, good; Genoese-style ravioli, good. Mixed fried fish with the aforementioned fish, fried well. A slice of apple pie, tiramisu, or panna cotta, okay. The house wine is unpresentable; they only offer two bottles of red wine, one Dolcetto and one Barbera. My bill is €45 per person, plus the cost of wine and water. Of course, I'm used to spending that amount, but given the type of offer, I expected more...

20/10/2025: Super delicious pizza, good beer (Rosso), delicious tiramisu, friendly and fast service, nice atmosphere—all in all, a great place with fair prices! We'd love to come back.

19/09/2025: I stopped here for lunch, as it was on the way to my destination, but I wasn't satisfied with either the service or the meal. Prices were quite high, the pasta was fresh and well-cooked, but the pesto sauce was bland and bland; I had to add half a bowl of cheese to it to give it flavor. Cover charge was an unreasonable €2.

16/09/2025: You shouldn't pass by if you enjoy delicious, authentic Italian food. From setting the table to the final coffee, they make a real effort to ensure their guests have a good time. A very charming place in Italy… Thank you for the food and the great time!

17/09/2025: Lovely tavern, good, generous dishes, and very friendly staff. It's also a Genoa museum, with lots of photos and memorabilia of the team. Well done, and go Genoa ♥️💙

07/09/2025: Disappointment. The first courses were poor but good quality. We ordered roast beef and baked potatoes. Five or six slices each arrived, two millimeters thick like salami slices. A scant portion of baked potatoes for two. We ordered half a liter of wine, water, and a dessert, which arrived squashed... We spent €50... Not worth it. The wait was incredibly long between courses. There are better options nearby.

10/03/2025: purtroppo avrei voluto fare una bella recensione, ma x la seconda volta ad un’ora decente (19.15 l’8 marzo scorso una volta e 12 la precedente qualche settimana fa) abbiamo chiamato x prenotare ma… “eh mi dispiace ma stiamo chiudendo… (??) “ e “ no siamo pieni” allora mi affretto a dire… siamo solo due e ci basta un insalata…. e la risposta … da ligure … come solo io che sono ligure capisco… no mi spiace …e niente ….non RIUSCIAMO. mah ok .. ho capito !!siamo alle solite! accoglienza genovese… peccato. credo che non proveremo piu … ho abitato a pra quando prima del porto c’era il mare … quello bello!! ci ho imparato a nuotare … lì davanti…volevo tornarci… anche solo x un pasto veloce. ma credo che non chiameremo più! in bocca al lupo di passaggio!!! 😃🥹

01/03/2025: Home cooking. Overall, the food is good. We're not in the center of Genoa, but if you're nearby (Genova Pra'), it's worth stopping for lunch.

11/10/2025: I was out walking the dogs at Gaiazza and it was getting late, I called and asked if we could eat something... Despite the time and the 4 dogs they told me to go anyway... They were very kind and helpful.. and I ate a delicious plate of trofie with pesto!!!

28/08/2025: The restaurant is located inside a campsite, and although there's often music and entertainment, dinner is a relaxed affair. The menu features seafood and pizza. For seafood lovers, this restaurant is addictive, not to mention the desserts. We tried practically the entire menu, including the pizza (we dined there 7 or 8 times in 15 days). The prices are low for the quality and abundance of the dishes. Michele and Rosa are super nice and friendly people, as is all the other staff. We haven't eaten this well in a long time!!!! How lucky we were to meet them at the beginning of our vacation! Top 🔝

27/08/2025: This is the 5th time I've been here, after many years. Super place, super staff, top owner!!! Obviously the food is amazing!
