07/09/2024: If you are looking for a clean and quiet campsite immersed in the coolness and nature of a romantic forest, where you can recharge your batteries, you have found it! Le Fontanelle offers all this together with the possibility of taking beautiful walks in the surrounding area in the shade of centuries-old chestnut trees and very tall fir trees, large rocks covered in very green moss, giving those places the appearance of Nordic forests where only the elves are missing but there are deer! Giovanni, the owner, may perhaps seem a little grumpy, but don't be fooled, he is simply someone who cares a lot about preserving the natural beauty and peace that reigns supreme in that corner of paradise, and who can blame him? We with our camper and our dog had a great time, we arrived for a weekend and stayed almost two weeks! Elisa and Rudy

10/11/2024: Me encantó esta experiencia y aunque una pegatina un poco impactada por la pasta de trufa lo haría de nuevo. El servicio fue impecable, el plato de pasta de mesa estaba al siguiente nivel delicioso, las vistas de la ciudad de Portofino son hermosas, me encantó este almuerzo caro, bien valió la pena el dinero!

30/11/2024: It was a fantastic experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the first moment. He proposed us a selection of wines that turned out to be excellent. In addition, he was nice enough to offer us some focaccia with cheese. It's a shame that we were only in this city for one night, because without a doubt we would have returned every night to enjoy this special place. A highly recommended place for its atmosphere, quality and, above all, for the warmth of its owner. A gem!

08/02/2025: Let me start by saying that when we were there it was not a restaurant but a bar. We got focaccia and sandwiches. Fresh and good, tasty food. Quiet environment, with two rooms, clean bathroom. The view of the river is beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff.

31/10/2024: For those who know the Pia Centenaria in via Magenta in Spezia, I suggest you forget about this point of sale in Monterosso. At 1pm at the end of October, with a flood of tourists invading the town, we ate two skimpy slices of pizza from the day before, freshly reheated and the same goes for the farinata, without any filling and equally old, reheated and really unappetizing which we left. No other alternatives. Non-existent service, not even plastic knives, only forks and everything self-service. Only the price is a little higher than the other "Pia" in the neighboring area. Those who praised this manager leave me very perplexed, personally I can only advise against it, also given the countless offers available in Monterosso which are not even comparable.

01/12/2024: Très déçu par la prestation de ce restaurant. Nous avons commandé plusieurs plats notamment des moules, malheureusement elles étaient microscopiques !!! Une salade vraiment quelconque mais pas question prix. Et le plus incroyable ils nous ont fait payer les couverts !!!!! Première fois que l’on me facture les couverts dans un restaurant. Pourquoi pas ne pas faire payé les chaises et les tables et le soleil ? Restaurant se reposant sur sa notoriété bling bling nourriture ordinaire à éviter.

16/11/2024: Un posto fantastico, location impagabile, personale e proprietari gentilissimi, cortesi e disponibili ! Tutto freschissimo e ben cucinato, servizio veloce e prezzi adeguati ! Consiglio il Branda, il guazzetto, il tortino e le acciughe……i primi…..ed il pesce ben selezionato, fresco ed ottimamente cucinato ! Sempre molto bravi !

14/02/2025: Nulla da dire per il cibo ma il locale lascia molto a desiderare: freddo, umido e con odore di muffa. Inoltre il servizio eccessivamente lungo.

19/02/2025: Also open out of season. The mixed fried food is excellent, the black trofie with a touch of octopus is excellent. The diners here all seem as satisfied as us. This is the second time duck, we will come back again.

04/02/2025: Lunch break from work restaurant on the seafront in Ventimiglia I had a plate of spaghetti with clams, a well done and tasty dish and a portion of fried potatoes a glass of wine 29 euros expensive for me but the prices are like that throughout Ventimiglia

17/11/2024: One star because I can't give anything; Yesterday we sat outside for 10 minutes and no one came to serve us, we could hear the waitresses talking about their personal things instead of looking after the customers, if you are not happy leave the place to those who want to work, but for heaven's sake! If you have a room with 2 rooms you must be present at BOTH, do not justify your inefficiency.
