26/05/2026: Good location in the town square. Great for a rain respite. Food in good but not remarkable. Service is prompt and pleasant. Nothing special, just a fine caffe.

13/05/2026: Enjoy a delicious cappuccino and a decent brioche in a relaxing, elegant setting. A collection of vintage whiskies, a detail that speaks to the establishment's historical significance, as do others. Even during a heavy downpour, the outdoor seating area proved a welcome refuge.

25/05/2026: Pasta factory, focaccia shop, and quality delicatessen. The place is a bit small for the amount of products they sell, and you risk having to wait outside during the market. But the wait is worth it, as the local options aren't up to par. The fresh pasta is excellent, but what makes the difference for me is the pesto. Their pesto is very delicate and balanced, for refined palates who appreciate a skillful and almost perfect blend. I mean, pesto can be made in many correct and personal ways, playing with the quantity, quality, and processing of the ingredients: basil, oil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan and/or pecorino, and salt. In this case, for example, the garlic is certainly limited, and I don't know if they use pecorino in addition to Grana Padano. Anyway, it's worth trying.

10/07/2025: Terrible. Just terrible! 2-hour wait for food!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food arrived cold! I didn't even eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the pesto bread! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. This place is simply disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star is just for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant I've ever been to.

10/05/2026: This fish and chip shop near the Mascagni terrace, practically on the seafront, offers outdoor dining with plastic cutlery and cups. The fried food is very dry, the fish is fresh, and the chips are delicious.

28/06/2026: Good local steak. If they decide you deserve it. Otherwise, they say they're out of stock. And they give you the meat you find everywhere without giving you a receipt listing the dishes you ordered and their cost. They charge a flat rate at the end of the meal at the register without the possibility of checking the dishes you ordered and their cost. I won't be going back.

03/05/2026: I'm from Albisola, and every time I passed by the restaurant, I always thought it was the perfect place for a relaxing lunch. For the first time, I was able to do so with my girlfriend, happy to treat ourselves to this moment. We arrived at 12:30, and they brought us water, focaccia, and bread, and we ordered. At 1:10, the honey-filled shrimp arrived, which I'd heard so much about but honestly didn't wow me. Next came the anchovies and panissa, which were delicious, followed by my girlfriend's paccheri, which were clearly poorly reheated because they were still cold and sticky. She finished them in time (and she's not that fast) while I was still waiting for my shrimp trofie. When they arrived, I also noticed a lovely crust on the trofie, like reheated pasta, and pieces of shrimp that, when combined, make a whole shrimp. For two first courses at €18 each, in short... The final cost was €70, including glasses of wine. All in all, I wasn't disappointed by the price, which they also followed with a complimentary digestif, which was much appreciated. I was disappointed, however, by the small portions, the time difference between my dishes and my girlfriend's, and the obvious reheating of the starters. I must say, however, that the location remains enchanting.

21/06/2026: I exited the highway to go to the first pizzeria that closes at 11pm. At 10:30pm, "Sorry, we're closed." Change the hours on the website.
