22/03/2025: My experience was not pleasant at all. We ordered takeaway (2 pizzas + 1 baby pizza), at 7.00pm when the restaurant opened (knowing that there could be a mess on a Saturday), with the restaurant having just opened they already told us that there was a bit of a wait. But waiting until someone finally showed up at 9.15pm for two and a half pizzas honestly just seems ridiculous to me. It must be considered that at 8.50pm we asked by phone and were told that they were wrapping them, it took them another 25 minutes to arrive. (We live 1 minute drive from the venue). My four year old daughter waited 2 hours for a pizza. And when it finally arrived there was no excuse for the whole wait. Good pizza but he will never see us again, neither in person nor for orders. And if you are not able to afford the takeaway, avoid giving the service! It's sad!

09/04/2025: Every time we go to Alassio we like to stop by this small, hidden family restaurant but which has a reputation for its traditional Italian cuisine and very reasonable prices.

31/03/2025: We ate there on Saturday afternoon, March 22, 2025. The food was absolutely delicious, all homemade, and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. They also have various products that they produce on site, such as honey, oil, etc. We'll be back. I highly recommend Agriturismo Cà Sottane.

30/03/2025: Very beautiful, sunny and spacious terrace overlooking the sea, perhaps too much given the hour and a half wait for two vegetarian dishes including a pasta with pesto and what was considered an eggplant millefeuille that perhaps could have been more modest in defining. Like us, other tables were in the same situation, untruthful excuses and procrastination accompanied by a few more glasses allowed the wait for the much-desired lunch. The staff was very kind and we are sure that the kitchen did its best, at the same time, two and a half hours at the restaurant and then leaving dissatisfied and not so full, we do not recommend it. Unsatisfactory quality/price ratio. We hope that it was an understandably isolated problem and we limit ourselves to commenting on our personal experience.

25/01/2025: A restaurant by the sea in Borgio Verezzi that combines simplicity and quality. I ate very well, fresh and tasty dishes that enhance the catch of the day. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, perfect for those looking for an evening without frills, but full of taste. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend the best of the menu. The sea view adds a special touch, making the experience even more pleasant. A place to return to for the authenticity of the flavors and the authentic welcome.

24/03/2025: Per parecchi anni Il Cantuccio era stato il ristorante della mia compagnia, ma sto parlando di più di 30 anni fa. Non ci eravamo più andati perchè la qualità del cibo e soprattutto la pulizia del locale era andata parecchio giù. Saputo della nuova gestione abbiamo voluto provarla, ma abbiamo fatto male. Il locale è stato sì rinnovato (a parte i servizi igienici sempre molto approssimativi), il cuoco è certamente capace, ma purtroppo è tutta la gestione ad essere veramente incapace. Il menu è parecchio banale, i soliti piatti che si trovano anche in pizzeria, solo più cari. Predominanza di pesce come è normale che sia in questo posto. Poichè ha piovuto per due giorni l'aria è parecchio freddina e quindi prenotiamo all'interno. Il locale ha una prima stanzetta, classica zona bar, ed un salone molto ampio più avanti. Peccato la poca lungimiranza dei proprietari ha mal pensato di far mangiare tutti i clienti nei tavolini della zona bar. Non solo i tavoli sono piccoli e costipati ma poichè è pieno anche nel dehor tutti i momenti viene spalancata la porta d'ingresso con terribile corrente sulle schiene. Una signora particolarmente anziana tutta tremante ha dovuto pranzare con il cappotto, nella più totale indifferenza del personale servente. Il più anziano della brigata ad un certo punto completava l'opera bloccando la porta spalancata. Restava così solo un paio di minuti, tempo che il cameriere più giovane, sentite le maledizioni che si elevavano dai tavoli, provvedeva a richiuderla. Tutto il servizio è palesemente condotto da dilettanti allo sbaraglio, si dimenticano di portare le cose, sbagliano i tavoli, peccato che non siamo alla corrida. Ovviamente il salone principale restava tristemente deserto, ma si può? Scopro anche dopo aver mangiato la prima portata che oggi come piatto speciale c'era il risotto ai frutti di mare, che avrei anche ordinato volentieri se qualcuno me lo avesse detto. Tutto veramente imbarazzante, mangiando nella media e pagando caro. Addio.

10/03/2025: Disappointing. Covered: 4 inedible dry slices of black bread. Catch of the day: half sea bass, good, with baked potatoes straight from the fridge, frozen and blackened, unthinkable. When I reported it to the waiter he offered a replacement which I was then made to pay for!! Even the place is not worth the €28 bill (including water).

03/03/2025: Nous avons bu un très bon verre de vin de Toscane, au bar pour l’apéritif. Ensuite nous n’avions pas très faim alors n’avons pris qu’un plat de pâtes avec un autre verre de vin chacun suivi d’un dessert et tout était vraiment très bon avec un service très bienveillant.

18/03/2025: Sono stato all’osteria a marzo 2025 e devo dire che la signora Michela con la sua gentilezza e cortesia ma sopratutto con i suoi piatti ci ha reso un pranzo di lavoro ottimo! Cibo sano e piatti molto semplici ma cucinati a dovere! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

03/03/2025: Ci siamo stati la prima volta, per caso, a Novembre e, memori della piacevole esperienza, dato che eravamo in zona ci siamo tornati. Come sempre il piacere di mangiare semplice ma bene si mescola alla sensazione di stare a casa, accolti e coccolati come da una zia. Ancora una volta promossa.

22/09/2024: Tried it in the evening as a restaurant and pizzeria. Eating on the beach has its own particular charm, but if you add a truly exceptional cheese focaccia the place becomes dreamlike. Marked in the favourites, it is worth the whole motorbike trip from Genoa. Compliments.

13/11/2024: Un locale che nel tempo ha sempre mantenuto una sua identità. Entri e sai che assaporerai degli ottimi ravioli, dei panigacci all’altezza. I salumi possono essere migliorati; rispetto alla concorrenza ( poco distante ) dove si sfoggia una Berkel che affetta del carpaccio di maiale, siamo su altri livelli. Bravi, come sempre siete per qualità e serietà sempre gradevoli.

04/04/2025: Che S.Rocco di Camogli sia una perla di Liguria e d'Europa tutti lo sanno.su quel colle dominante il golfo paradiso ci si confonde e si resta attoniti da tanta bellezza e da delle energie positive che scaturiscono da quelle rocce salmastre forse perché Nel 14 secolo vi ha sostato Rocco di Montpellier grande Santo Taumaturgo amante del bello! Ma che tanto splendore riuscisse anche a infondersi nelle PIETANZE genovesi levantine di un ristorante Sanrocchino con tanta forza gusto sapori del passato ormai spariti e tutto a mano e al momento questo forse non si sperava più. La signora Carla col figlio a Tucca e Leva san portare questa rarissima ricchezza e in un clima di famiglia con ottimi vini e pani fatti in casa agli aromi mediterranei. Una assoluta VERTICALITA '! e il portafoglio resta anche pieno! TUCCA E LEVA MERITA LA GRANDE MENSIONE DELLA AUTENTICA CUCINA REGIONALE ALL'ANTICA. Ottimo super consigliato a chi ama gli antichi sapori.
