04/12/2024: Nice and clean place where you can have a pleasant breakfast or lunch break. The aperitif is also excellent, always very rich with carefully made cocktails at very competitive prices...two aperitifs 20 euros🥂🍾 Informal and welcoming environment with friendly and very helpful staff!

31/03/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante il giorno di Pasqua. Il servizio è stato veloce ed efficiente, i piatti scelti di buona qualità, presentati bene e serviti in quantità ragionevole. Peccato per il tonno, che purtroppo non era disponibile. I prezzi sono forse un po' più cari di quanto ci saremmo aspettati a fronte di un menù piuttosto semplice, ma in linea con quelli della località. In quattro, prendendo due antipasti, due primi, quattro secondi, due dolci, tre birre e acqua abbiamo speso 163 euro (tutti piatti di pesce).

10/08/2024: Sono stato in questo posto due volte, a Luglio e poi ad Agosto 2024. Qui su Tripadvisor si leggono molti commenti negativi, ma c'è stato un cambio di gestione, per cui vi consiglio di affidarvi alle recensioni più recenti (del 2024). Per le due volte in cui sono andato, mi sono trovato molto bene. Si mangiano piatti (di mare) molto buoni, i prezzi sono onesti, l'atmosfera è molto tranquilla e il personale è molto cordiale. Lo consiglio vivamente

25/07/2024: We enjoyed a very tasty dinner at La Taverna. We had the filet with porcini and a very well filed seafood pasta. Sweet staff.

16/08/2024: Ambiente carino, ma cena davvero sgradevole. Può darsi sia un caso isolato, ma nel momento in cui è stato fatto educatamente notare siamo stati etichettati come rompi scatole prevenuti. Sicuramente un titolare potrebbe sentirsi per lo meno dispiaciuto dell'accaduto comunicato con civiltà. Gnocchi industriali galleggianti in un mare di panna annacquata con pezzi di pomodoro crudo probabilmente della "bruschetta" presa come antipasto prima, ma anch'essa lasciata perché non era bruschettata bensì solo un pezzo di pane semplice con pomodoro. Nel menù erano dei semplici gnocchetti calamari e zucchine, panna annacquata e pomodorini non erano segnalati. Ad ogni modo bastava essere cortesi per concludere meglio la serata, ma probabilmente ai proprietari non interessa visto che " è 30 anni che sono aperti per un motivo " come ci hanno detto. Forse 30 anni fa non c'era lo stesso chef.

27/07/2024: The food was all very delicious! This is extremely positive!!! However: You had to wait a long time for the order to be taken, and then for the food as well. There were 4 of us. 1 was brought out his main course first, after 5 minutes the 2nd main course, and after another 5 minutes 3 appetizers. We ate them all, then waited for the 2 main dishes that had not yet been brought out. We spoke after 25 minutes. They brought it after another 10 minutes. Huge mess with the service. There is no permanent waiter at 1 table, but whoever goes there brings or takes something.

31/10/2024: For those who know the Pia Centenaria in via Magenta in Spezia, I suggest you forget about this point of sale in Monterosso. At 1pm at the end of October, with a flood of tourists invading the town, we ate two skimpy slices of pizza from the day before, freshly reheated and the same goes for the farinata, without any filling and equally old, reheated and really unappetizing which we left. No other alternatives. Non-existent service, not even plastic knives, only forks and everything self-service. Only the price is a little higher than the other "Pia" in the neighboring area. Those who praised this manager leave me very perplexed, personally I can only advise against it, also given the countless offers available in Monterosso which are not even comparable.
