Caffe' delle Carrozze In Chiavari

Good location in the town square. Great for a rain respite. Food in good but not remarkable. Service is prompt and pleasant. Nothing special, just a fine caffe.

Enjoy a delicious cappuccino and a decent brioche in a relaxing, elegant setting. A collection of vintage whiskies, a detail that speaks to the establishment's historical significance, as do others. Even during a heavy downpour, the outdoor seating area proved a welcome refuge.

Excellent choice for a breakfast suitable for everyone. Lots of choices, from sweet to savory, and their specialty coffees are also super good. Highly recommended.

Cappuccino with top cream...and more

A day at the beach... mid-afternoon we stopped for coffee but were drawn to the "specialty" coffees. We had one with hot chocolate, cream, and chocolate chips, and the other with cream and marron glacés, and... they were truly special! Delicious! Friendly staff.

We visited this place on New Year's Eve, around 3 PM, literally fleeing the rudeness and lack of welcome we'd experienced in the historic establishment across from the Caffè delle Carrozze. We were therefore in a state of irritability and decidedly not the best, but the welcome here was immediately kind and attentive, even warm, I'd say. After describing the dishes of the day, the lady serving us suggested a few small changes to the menu that perfectly met our needs. Within minutes, our mood had completely changed and was further improved by delicious sandwiches, a generous salad, and glasses of Franciacorta Contadi Castaldi. The desserts to finish were also very good, and the bill was fair and reasonable. We therefore recommend this café both for its welcome and customer service, as well as for the quality of its offerings and professionalism!
