15/02/2026: Family dinner decided at the last minute. Welcoming place with friendly and helpful staff. Tagliatelle with venison, trofie with pesto, and very good stuffed mussels. Exceptional value for money.

21/12/2025: I visited this rustic, spartan café serving healthy vegetarian and vegan cuisine. It's located in Genoa's Foce neighborhood and fills up quickly. I sat at one of the few tables inside, and there are also some outside overlooking the street. I ordered a coffee and a canestrello, both delicious and plentiful. The staff were welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly, and helpful, and the service was attentive, fast, and well-priced. This café offers breakfast with a wide selection of focaccia and brioche, including vegan options, and a wide selection of cakes and pastries, including vegan ones, all made with organic ingredients. Lunch is also available, with excellent dishes, including vegan options, and plant-based drinks, in addition to traditional options. 21/12/2025: This neighborhood coffee in Foce, has the best cafe in town! It is a place to go to for a quick morning coffee before work, with a great brioche (also vegan options). It is a great place to stop for a freshly prepared lunch by talented cooks, all from organic produce. The menu changes daily and their way they prepare the vegetables, is exceptional. Every Thursday they have an Aperitivo evening serving a selection of natural wines and 2 options of unique dishes. Make sure to book your table ahead, to enjoy this fully Italian immersed experience. It is my second home in Genova. P.S. They also have a selection of organic produce , olive oil, flours, Jess, teas and how can I forget, natural wine.

07/04/2026: With the new management, I feel like the service has significantly deteriorated. This morning, there was only one barista on duty (the others are on vacation), who was supposed to wait on the counter, prepare the tables, and put the used cups out to wash. In the end, she served us coffee in paper cups! If there's no staff, it's better to stay closed "for vacation" than to provide service like that.

28/03/2026: Pepito is our go-to spot on every trip to Italy. We come for the atmosphere, the aperitivo, and especially the owner's kindness! Imagine unlimited Spritz and focaccia for a ridiculously low price (8 euros). It's a place where everyone gathers, all ages. It's best to book ahead, that's how popular it is!

10/07/2025: Terrible. Just terrible! 2-hour wait for food!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food arrived cold! I didn't even eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the pesto bread! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. This place is simply disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star is just for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant I've ever been to.

09/11/2025: A historic osteria in Sestri Ponente. It offers traditional Genoese dishes, with excellent value. Today we enjoyed the borage ravioli with a delicious slow-cooked ragù and the spinach tart. The kindness and attentiveness of the manager and the waitress Carola complete the experience. Highly recommended.
