02/11/2024: Tappa fissa alla trattoria “Da Orazio”, quando siamo a Borghetto! Luogo fuori dal tempo, semplice ma pulito e genuino. Menù prevalentemente di pesce, ottima l’orata ai ferri ma anche il fritto misto! Servizio veloce, prezzi contenuti.

02/11/2024: It's always nice to have positive reviews. Excellent pizza cooked in an electric oven. This means being good pizza chefs. This results in a light, crunchy and consistent dough at the same time. Not at all salty and perfectly cooked. Very good and quality ingredients above. Super quick service even though the place was almost full. Super friendly waiters as well as the guy at the cash register. As soon as I'm back in those parts I'll be back.

03/11/2024: Pleasant environment on a panoramic terrace, young, kind and professional staff who also pay attention to detail. Clean and tidy environment which is not easy in facilities practically on the beach. Good food and a nice wine list. P.s. I can't always digest mixed fried foods, this one was very light. Recommended place

05/09/2024: For a summer lunch or dinner overlooking the sea, you can't help but go to the LIDO DELLA PALMA baths in Albisola Capo, which still offer a refined venue, even with a veranda in winter, excellent for any occasion (business or atmospheric lunches and dinners)

12/07/2024: Cena tra amici per festeggiare i 50 anni di matrimonio. Seduti di fronte al mare, clima perfetto. Aperitivo con panissette, fiori di zucchino fritti, gamberetti fritti. Entratine con frittata,torta di verdure, melanzana fritta. Seppioline con verdure delicatissime e abbondanti. Paccheri allo scoglio ottimi. Orata al cartoccio. Fritto misto ( veramente misto e soprattutto niente anelli ) non unto. Sorbetto al limone. Torta. Non ci saremmo più alzati da tavola. Servizio perfetto.

19/09/2024: We had an amazing experience at Balin. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the very end. This is exactly what you expect when booking a fusion-style dinner. The veranda was beautifully decorated, with cozy lighting, lovely wooden tables, small lights, and plants, which made us feel comfortable right away. The food was well-balanced, using fresh local ingredients with an Italian touch and a lot of Japanese influence in many of the dishes we tried, like dashi broth, gyoza, nori flakes, and bonito sashimi. The chef’s background, with pop-ups in Seoul and Bangkok, was clearly reflected in the food. Each dish was presented beautifully, making the whole meal even more enjoyable. They offer a selection of natural wines, both local and international, all of which were delicious and paired perfectly with each course. The service was friendly, professional, and made us feel at ease throughout the evening. We highly recommend this hidden gem in Sestri Levante!

06/09/2024: Great food but think it’s worth mentioning I left hungry. I never left hungry after having a 6 course tasting menu, usually that is too much. Here the portions are really tiny. So perhaps worth seeing this meal as a treat and not so much as actual dinner.

03/01/2025: We had a very good time, a familiar and courteous atmosphere, dishes that were mostly plentiful, all very good. Average price for the area but considering portions, quality and service I think it is one of the best restaurants in the area.

13/11/2024: Un locale che nel tempo ha sempre mantenuto una sua identità. Entri e sai che assaporerai degli ottimi ravioli, dei panigacci all’altezza. I salumi possono essere migliorati; rispetto alla concorrenza ( poco distante ) dove si sfoggia una Berkel che affetta del carpaccio di maiale, siamo su altri livelli. Bravi, come sempre siete per qualità e serietà sempre gradevoli.

02/11/2024: Consigliato per pranzo o cena . Buoni i ravioli al ragù , ma anche i testaroli tipici della zona conditi con sughi vari ed i panigacci con affettati e formaggi molli . Buon appetito !
