08/08/2025: Great experience because of the nice staff, good prices and great pizza. The place is a little small but It just fits right with its vibe. In the Netherlands they should take an example of these great pizzas baked in a wood fired oven.

02/08/2025: A small pizzeria with delicious pizza. The place is small and not particularly inviting, but lots of locals eat there or get their pizza from there. We had the Caprese and Quaddro Formaggi. With the Formaggi, they specifically asked if it had or had no pompdore sauce—the first pizzeria that asks for this. We had it without, and it was really delicious—the pure taste of cheese. The Caprese was also very good—simple but with very good ingredients. And the value for money? It's really good, €20 with drinks.

06/07/2025: We went to this bar because our usual one was closed. Very slow service: the waitress brought one thing at a time very slowly. We went back a second time but the situation did not improve: we had to get up to complete the order. Disappointing experience.

14/08/2025: A beautiful outdoor location by the church and a kind, calm, and friendly Romanian waiter—these were the only positives of our visit. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The Fregola di Mare was overcooked and had crushed fish bones. The Spaghettone alla Bottarga had no fresh bottarga—just thick spaghetti with oil, garlic seasoning, and dried roe. Only the Carpaccio di Tonno was truly delicious, while the Su Scabecciu was decent. We paid €82 for this meal. The chef came to our table, but instead of listening to our feedback, insisted nothing was wrong and even questioned why we came to Italy if we didn’t like the food. Overall, not an experience we would repeat. Thank you for your comment, but we also have the right to express our opinion. Just because we’re not Sardinian doesn’t mean we can’t evaluate a dish or notice when we don’t like it. We didn’t order a lesson on bottarga or fish anatomy—we ordered a tasty dinner. And if a dish doesn't meet our expectations, we can say so. Cooking isn't just about tradition, but also about taste, service, and the ability to connect with customers. And McDonald's has nothing to do with it: we came to the restaurant to have a pleasant experience, not to receive a defensive reaction to every criticism.

27/07/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant last night. We're from Albenga and have always walked past it, saying, "We have to try it sometime!" Well, we tried it last night and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is cute, relaxed, and welcoming, right in the center of Albenga. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared, so we stopped for the appetizer and first course because they were plentiful. The service was courteous and friendly, and the price was fair for the quality. We'll definitely be back.

21/08/2025: Quiet restaurant offering quality products. The salads and spaghetti Bolognese were fine for us in terms of quantity. The prices are a little high, but like everywhere else in Portofino (€118 for 4 people, main course, dessert, and drinks). Very welcoming. The service was very good. There were 8 of us and 2 small dogs.

19/08/2025: Avoid. My partner and I went for lunch. Fish not fresh? The people to our left ordered the fried fish mix we wanted, but when they arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant odor. The neighbors saw our disgusted faces and said, "Do we agree that it stinks?" The waiter brought them a second one after they complained, but the bad smell was still there. This ruined my partner's appetite, so we avoided the fish and seafood dishes. We still ordered a plate of trofie with pesto and a plate of tomato and mozzarella because we were hungry. It was okay, but not worth the price, and we didn't really enjoy eating our meal given the smell in the neighbors' faces. Service needs to be improved. Another negative point: when it came time to pay, the server took my partner's credit card from the table to pay the €61 (which didn't work because for more than €50, he needed the PIN) instead of handing us the terminal. We asked to split it in half, and he kept the card to pay the €30 without showing the amount first. In short, avoid it; it's better to pay more for good food or go to a bakery.

19/04/2025: We went in to ask if 2 places were available, a lady, I presume the owner, in an impolite manner, rudely kicked us out without any plausible justification. I don't judge the food or the service but the poor education of this person who with inappropriate gestures and attitudes has certainly lost a customer.

15/08/2025: The Miramare restaurant is located on the seafront like many other restaurants, with the difference that the outdoor tables have more space, extending all the way to the adjacent square. Once we were seated, the wait staff offered us a substantial off-the-menu option, in addition to the dishes on the menu. The dishes we ate were good, average. One star less for the service because the wait staff became a bit intrusive at times, for example, constantly refilling wine glasses, perhaps even for those who had run out of wine. Speaking of wine, the wine list is decent. The a la carte prices are average for the area. Just be careful with the off-the-menu options, which quickly increase the final bill. Overall, good.

11/08/2025: Everything was very good. When the waterfront is closed to traffic, it's even pleasant. Otherwise, with the cars passing by, it feels like you're at a gas station. Prices are a bit excessive.

10/07/2025: A very nice restaurant by the harbor. The seafood is highly recommended, but the guys in the kitchen have absolutely no idea how to prepare meat. I ordered the sliced ​​Angus with fries (medium-well), but it came completely raw and was a smashed piece of crap (even an 80kg German Shepherd couldn't have bitten through it). By far the worst piece of meat I've ever eaten in my life. My wife's seafood pasta, on the other hand, was a real treat; unfortunately, I made a big burger at home first, as the fries alone weren't enough to fill you up. DISAPPOINTMENT

24/08/2025: The sunbed prices were all in all fair (€40 for three is fine), but the food prices were barely justified: €20 for a plate of spaghetti with clams, truly tiny and with very few clams (50-60 grams?). They put us in the last spots, very close together: three people in the space of two... it was uncomfortable, one had to sit sideways and you risked shaking hands with the man next to you... and we were almost always in the shade. Much of the beach was empty but "reserved" for season ticket holders who never arrived, and it was impossible to move around or close the umbrellas. The proximity to the play area gave us a chance to spread out but made it less relaxing. The owner was kind, but overall the experience wasn't the best.

20/08/2025: The place is beautiful and the beach is wonderful, but I had a communication problem. When I tried to explain a situation involving a misunderstood sauce order, the gentleman was rude and charged me 2 euros for the sauce. I didn't ask for it because I had already paid. I only reported the situation because of the waste and the waiter's lack of communication. The gentleman, who appears to be the manager, told me and my family to leave because he said I had been at the restaurant for 3 hours. I wasn't informed that I had time to sit down, and the place had several empty tables. I was already leaving, but I was very embarrassed. I've never seen anything like that in my life.

29/08/2025: It was 2:30 p.m. and we couldn't find a restaurant to eat in Imperia because most restaurants close at that time. We asked around, and despite the fact they also closed at that time, they let us eat. The service was attentive and helpful. We ate pasta (for the umpteenth time), and honestly, it was quite good. The restaurant is in the port, right next to the moorings, but it doesn't stand out for anything special.

12/07/2025: Beautiful, well-maintained campsite. Clean showers and sometimes hot water. If you get a good spot, the view is amazing, but it's very cramped. Unfortunately, the owner is very unfriendly. The place itself is great and ideal for hiking.

12/08/2025: We had dinner at Ritrovo degli Amici after a beautiful day relaxing by the walnut pond in Molini di Triora. What can I say? Everything was simply perfect. Ornella, the owner, makes you feel right at home and part of the family. The food is like grandma's old-fashioned cooking. We had a mixed antipasto with many excellent selections, a delicious first course (sugeli, a typical local dish), and to finish, a fantastic wild boar with potatoes. Generous portions and excellent prices. Highly recommended; you won't regret it.

03/05/2025: Entro, sfortunatamente, dopo una corsetta mattutina per prendere un pan au chocolate da portare alla mia bambina che mi aspetta a casa. Il fenomeno al bancone comincia a urlare "Quanti???" come se non avesse capito e, al mio ribadire la quantità già indicata, comincia a lanciare improperi e bestemmiare per l'esigua quantità del numero. Mi sono girato e me ne sono andato nonostante varcando la porta del locale mi giungessero le ritrattazioni del fenomeno, tornato a più miti consigli, dopo la mia reazione.

31/05/2025: The restaurant of the San Lorenzo hotel, family-run, not bad and equipped with a large room. Good selection of meat and mushroom dishes and average prices, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel/restaurant is located on the road that leads from the center of Santo Stefano d'Aveto to Rocca, more or less halfway. Informal and quiet atmosphere, perfectly suited to the town.
