30/07/2024: Locale senza troppe pretese situato sull' Aurelia che conduce da Genova a Bogliasco. La recensione riguarda il menu' del pranzo che, sebbene a costo contenuto, a nostro avviso era preparato con l' utilizzo di materie prime surgelate e pronte (vedasi il sugo del primo a base di pesce) oppure di media qualità, anche se in porzioni abbondanti. Vengono date tre stelle per la cortesia del personale e per il servizio veloce. Location: 6, menù: 5, servizio: 6, conto: 6.

06/04/2025: A little place hidden in the alleys of Varazze with a decidedly vintage atmosphere where every piece from the furniture to the crockery is different, recycled but definitely well placed in the context... you must certainly already like the genre, because for example the plates/glasses etc. They are all harmoniously mismatched! Regarding the cuisine, I must say that the food is really super good!!! Small menu, which is highly appreciated because the products are genuine and prepared in front of the customers, since the kitchen is developed behind the counter!!! Excellent family run, friendly and always friendly staff!! Perhaps the dishes are a little expensive, but the bill was paid with the satisfaction of the palate!! Desserts absolutely worth having, all made by them and of a goodness that takes you back in time!!! If we come back to these parts we already know where to come and eat!!! Thank you so much for a great dinner! My son and I had a great time last night!!!!

28/03/2025: Scrivo questa recensione veramente con una stretta sul cuore, perchè questo posto, che frequento da anni e che mi ricorda tantissimi momenti spensierati in famiglia, sta inevitabilmente calando del baratro e sono consapevole che questa mia recensione non aiuterà a risollevare la situazione. Gli ho sempre dato un'ulteriore possibilità ma credo che questa sera sarà l'ultima in cui mi vedranno. Trovo veramente aberrante che, un locale aperto da decenni, non si preoccupi minimamente di servire al cliente pesce pulito bene, i crostacei erano pieni di sabbia che strideva sotto i denti, i gamberoni con tutto il cervello e l'intestino e la pasta al limite del crudo. Il servizio veramente gentile e disponibile, unica unicissima nota dolente, quando una cosa cade per terra e soprattutto davanti al cliente sarebbe buona educazione non metterla sul tavolo. Il pesce non è fresco, il che è anche questo assurdo, visto che il locale è letteralmente fronte mare, con diversi pescherecci visibili ad occhio. Un decadimento totale, nel giro tra l'altro di pochi anni. Essendo poi clienti da anni ed anni, mai un digestivo offerto, nulla, pagato tutto al centesimo, per una cena purtroppo molto scadente.

11/08/2024: Recommended by a friend who lives in Albenga for a good aperitif (I had a Campari spritz) accompanied by chips and a jar of peanuts, friendly and kind staff, an informal place where you feel like you're among friends, ideal for a break, to have an aperitif or stop for a quick lunch, if you pass by here I recommend it 😉

18/03/2025: Very average pizza, not inflated (absolutely not a Neapolitan), a little too salty, canned mushrooms. Bad organization 10 minutes of waiting just to pay! Extremely hot room, no air conditioning or very little, but above all the doors wide open to the street with unbearable noise! Hell. I don't understand the comments from people who are delighted and who return several times!

12/03/2025: Came here on a recommendation from travel expert Rick Steves and it did not disappoint! This place is a great people watching spot in the middle of the Cinque Terre town of Monterosso. It was our last day and we knew we wanted to visit for the famous Sciacchetra. We got a little meat and cheese platter that came with some bread and jam. Simple but so good! The star was definitely the Sciacchetra- which is a special dessert wine from this region. We ended up taking a bottle home from this as a souvenir! It’s usually served with a little biscotti- like cookie. I’ve looked for this wine in the U.S. and it’s hard to find! I definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area.
