But I only give 3 stars because it's not fair to pay a lot for a dish with truffles and the truffle tastes as good as a cork. It is the fault of the chef and the diners not to taste their dishes and reduce the prices. Understand me.....it's a constructive criticism...... 2 eggs with grated cork for €15 Overall the bill is expensive compared to the contents of the dinner. Very good desserts

21/08/2024: We stayed here for a week and we really liked it. The facility is beautifully designed. The apartments are clean and well equipped. They have air conditioning. Very good when it is very hot outside. The pool offers plenty of space and is clean. There is a toddler area and normal pool. The owners are nice and very helpful. There is also a charging station on site for electric car owners. I suspect it's a 50 kW. It works best with the Enel X-Way app. From Residence Borgomare you can easily make trips to Monaco or Nice (much nicer!!!).

13/12/2024: A pleasant and cordial evening with friends with a dinner based on tasty, assorted and excellent appetizers, and a second course made of fillet, Angus bone-in steak, Iberian pork capocollo, and Umbrian kebabs. And what about the side dishes, Puntarelle with Roman anchovies and sautéed artichokes. Red wine chosen by Franco, the owner, with a dry and fruity taste. Everything excellent. Good and honest in price.

04/08/2024: I have been here with two friends for dinner. I like Liguria and was already familiar with its sea and mountains. However, there is a third element, the "orto". Orto by Jorg Giubbani does a great job in explaining, preparing, and well, cooking, dishes that cover all these elements alone, but also in combination. A special mention goes to the selections of herbs, really on point. I would recommend the degustazione "Avanguardia Ligure" and also the pairing with the wines. It was all worth it, the focaccia, not on the menu, was like a cloud!

03/08/2024: The dishes: impeccably plated and surprisingly particular; Unfortunately, however, many of them are not so pleasant to eat as the flavors are often decidedly too strong and do not encourage you to move on to the next bite. I would recommend it to lovers of strong flavors and/or to those looking for particularity and quality of the raw materials. Splendid and unique location.

16/11/2024: Last night I went to this place with some friends. The food, especially the tigelle, was really good, but unfortunately the room service was disappointing. I had called ahead to report the gluten intolerance for our table and, initially, the first round of tigelle was prepared correctly, gluten-free. However, in the second round, they brought us tigelle with gluten. When I pointed out the mistake, the waitress (the one with the glasses) not only gave a perfunctory apology, but also had the unwelcome audacity to blame us, stating: “What did I know that your table was gluten free? It was also your mistake not to have told us again” It should be underlined that there were only two waitresses in the room and the place was not crowded, so it was easily manageable. I would like to underline that customer health should be a top priority for every restaurant. An error like this, at a table with people with celiac disease or gluten intolerant, could cause serious consequences, from immediate discomfort to more serious situations. Having worked in catering for years, I know that it is essential that all staff are informed of any food intolerances declared at the time of booking. Hasty, arrogant and rude responses should never be part of the service, especially when the mistake was made by the venue. It's really a shame, because the tigelle were good, but the lack of attention and professionalism of the service definitely ruined the experience.

15/02/2024: Prenotato la domenica per pranzo. Ci siamo presentati al ristorante con un po’ di ritardo e tre bambini (uno di 6 mesi 2 di 4 anni) e una ragazza incinta. Accoglienza super gentile, attenzione alle esigenze dei piccoli (peccato per la mancanza del fasciatoio) e anche nei confronti della ragazza che aspettava nel proporre piatti buoni ma che lei potesse comunque mangiare. Prezzo nella norma ed in linea al servizio! Posto davvero piacevole…. Un bella esperienza! Ci torneremo

01/09/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale soggiornando nell’ hotel poco distante. Ottima location, direttamente sulla spiaggia, ben arredata e caratterizzata con gusto ma non climatizzata e quindi troppo calda nelle serate estive dove se non circola aria viene difficile gustare la cena con spensieratezza. Menu non enorme e con piatti strani per le calde serate estive (tipo il risotto al castelmagno), antipasti buoni, primi meglio degli antipasti. Piccolo appunto: i primi, sopratutto i gnocchetti al nero di seppia che erano veramente buoni, erano tutti però invasi dall’aglio - una punta ci sta ma così era davvero troppo e sopratutto non veniva riportata nel menu la sua presenza. Prezzi nella media, conto adeguato alla location, personale di sala gentile ma poco formale, proprietaria (penso) alla cassa impettita e di pochissime parole. Promosso ma per me da migliorare sotto gli aspetti indicati
