21/10/2025: The servers were lovely. However, the food was awful. The pizzas arrived watery, probably due to a rapid thaw. We found two hairs on one of our pizzas... A horrible experience!

25/09/2025: Perfect place to eat and have a nice dinner or take a drink in the bar. Service was wonderful and location is amazing.

12/01/2026: Based on traditional Ligurian dishes, the trattoria's cuisine is quite good. The cheese focaccias, in particular, are excellent, and the portions are generous, consisting of five focaccias. The mixed grill and the fritto misto alla paesana (a typical Ligurian dish of fried meat and vegetables, not to be confused with mixed fried fish) are also good. Due to the season, the mushroom dishes are not yet available. The restaurant is a 5-minute drive from the center of Recco, has ample parking for customers, and is reached by a flight of stairs. Prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Recommended for those who want to eat well without expecting fancy service or an exclusive location.

22/09/2025: Hotel in a quiet area near the center of Recco. A decent-sized room with all the comforts. A garage is available, but it does have private parking. Recommended.

05/01/2026: A family-run restaurant, very well organized, both in terms of kitchen and pizzeria. Service is quick and the food is good. Reasonably priced. We had tried this place before and returned because we were satisfied. We returned after two years. The food is always good, but the place is too crowded, the tables are too close together, and the wait is long. We hadn't booked, but they still found us a table. Those who arrived after us waited up to half an hour before their order was taken. The prices are a downside: two pizzas, two coffees (€2 each), a 1/4 cup white wine (€5), a plastic bottle of water (€2.50), and a €3 cover charge. These days, especially in Liguria, it's almost impossible to go to a pizzeria or restaurant because they overcharge on everything. It's a shame because the pizza is also good.

30/12/2025: Terrible pizza, non-existent leavening and terrible cooking, burnt, the staff didn't even come close to asking if something was wrong and when it came to the bill they pretended not to notice.

11/01/2026: I had lunch with my friends. We ordered appetizers and a first or second course each. We arrived at 12:30, and our dishes arrived at 1:50 PM with no apology for the 1-hour and 20-minute wait. The appetizers were served directly to us, and the appetizers were completely forgotten. Two of the seven people we were with ate another 25 minutes later. When they picked up our dishes, they received theirs. Again, no apology from the waitresses. The food was good, and the portions were adequate for the price. Except for the spaghetti with clams, which were completely undercooked and very salty. We didn't order desserts for fear of leaving the restaurant after another hour.

29/11/2025: Great food in a lovely setting) The food was absolutely delicious truly excellent. The interior is beautiful, stylish, and very atmospheric, making the place feel special and authentic. It is definitely a tourist spot and quite expensive for what it is, and the service was not particularly attentive. However, all the staff speak English, which makes everything easy for visitors. Despite the price and average service, the amazing food makes it worth a visit. I can recommend this place if you’re in the area and want to enjoy really good Italian cuisine. 🇮🇹🍝

09/11/2025: We didn't feel welcomed, and we left disappointed and bitter, not so much because of the food, although we didn't find it as carefully prepared as usual. But because of how we were treated. When it came to dessert, we asked if there could be traces of peanuts among the ingredients, since there was a person at the table with an allergy. The check was fairly simple, as the biscuit used was a commercial product, but the table manager initially denied having the packaging, then stated that she wasn't required to provide this information... a colleague, overhearing the discussion, brought the packaging with the list of ingredients into the dining room. The dessert was free of traces of peanuts... so why refuse to check? A person with a food allergy doesn't recover, and it can lead to very serious, even fatal, consequences. I've never had a restaurant owner refuse to give me this information when they had the opportunity, especially in a restaurant we frequent often.

28/01/2026: I was in Mexico several years ago. I love Mexican cuisine, and wherever I go, I'm always happy to try a Mexican restaurant. For many years, my friends and I have been organizing dinners at Baquito, and I have to say that so far, I haven't found anything better when it comes to Mexican food. Everything is always delicious; in my opinion, it's the restaurant that comes closest to authentic Mexican flavors. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The pizza is also very good. The place is unique, and in the summer, you can eat on the terrace right on the beach. A great choice if you want to try Mexican cuisine!
