04/10/2024: Farmhouse converted into a hotel located high in the mountains, on a narrow road, problems with big buses, rooms in three buildings, of 42 only 12 with elevator. Reaching up to 3a. plant narrow, straight stairs and suitcases up. Not recommended for the elderly.

03/09/2024: Waiting almost an hour to receive dishes without infamy or praise, in September, is unacceptable. Even more so for a restaurant considered among the least worse in Finale. The worst of the worst, however, is the owner's painful justification: "What do you want, we only have one person in the kitchen: he does what he can...". Now, ma'am: it's you who need to organize yourself better, not the customer who needs to be patient because you want to save on staff. And the worst part is that when you point it out, she blames her chef! It's okay that we are in Liguria, so we are used to certain pettiness, but there is a limit to everything.

06/01/2025: Luckily we found a parking space nearby because getting there given the restricted traffic zone is not easy, but a nice location, on the sea where there was a bit of life compared to the sadness of the rest of the country. Small tables, but clean. Fairly average prices (€25.60 for 4 people to eat focaccia, a slice each, with 4 drinks!). Mediocre focaccia/pizza, reheated then crunchy than normal and the natural one nothing special. The only doubt is that they cannot serve focaccia with sausage, radicchio and gorgonzola without telling you that there is gorgonzola, because things change a lot! Focaccia eaten in Liguria does not at all correspond to the typical Ligurian focaccia, which is usually greasy, soft and super appetizing. I don't think I'll ever go back!

28/09/2024: Il miglior ristorante di pesce di Deiva. Mangiato sempre egregiamente e la figlia del titolare e lo staff sempre attento e cordiale. Unica pecca: i bambini pare non siano graditi in fase di prenotazione. Alla telefonata avuta per 2 volte in 2 occasioni diverse col titolare, egli invitava ad andare in pizzeria (probabilmente per via dei bambini). Peccato Questo non mi farà desistere e se avrò voglia di pesce ci tornerò (se me ne verrà data possibilità) Ps. L invito alla pizzeria mi é stato fatto in ambedue le telefonate, una quest estate ed una stasera, nella prima occasione sono riuscito ad andare a cenare comunque, questa sera invece rimbalzato perché non c’era posto……forse

While she is turned around she tells us to go and look inside ourselves, upon entering we see that there are three different types of cakes and different types of biscuits. while we look at the window the waitress tells one of her colleagues to send us to a seat. the colleague very calmly and kindly asks us to sit down and after asking his colleague what was in the cakes and after receiving an answer we return and the waitress returns in a huff to ask us what we wanted.

14/09/2024: I’ve never experienced such a disgraceful, perhaps discriminatory behaviour towards visiting guests: we came without reservation on a friday evening in a half-filled restaurant, well-mannered, well-dressed and kindly asked for a table for two. After we denied having a reservation the old grey-haired lady unmistakably told us to leave the restaurant. After we stood outside we were kind of confused how harsh she was but did not even wonder about it until the next day when we tried to get a table for the second time. This time in an almost empty restaurant, we entered with a group of old Italians who directly received a table when again she looked at us not even letting us finish our sentence, immediately denying with multiple “No, Grazie” and pushing the palm of her hands towards us and the door, as if we were criminals. Probably this place is not suitable for non-Italians, tourists and especially LGBTQ+ people.

05/01/2025: I honestly don't understand how a place like this where you eat so well can only have 4.2 reviews. Nothing to say about the food and the friendliness of the staff. I loved the clam and cherry tomato gnocchi and the pesto lasagna. The only aspect that I would see that could be improved is perhaps the care and cleanliness of the place which in some places seems neglected and perhaps a little dark. Another point that I would recommend is to propose a children's menu with something a little varied (meat and pasta with baked potatoes for example). Perhaps the reviews are so low also because of the location or perhaps the difficult parking. But, I repeat, spectacular food and honest prices. Dear aunts and even grandmothers now, thank you for the pleasant human and culinary experience 💌
