20/12/2025: I stayed in Savona from December 9th to 14th for work.
The bar is very nice from the outside, located in one of Savona's most beautiful squares. Unfortunately, I'm giving it 2 stars for the service and the cappuccino I had for breakfast one morning: UNDRINKABLE. I asked for a cappuccino at the counter from a young man with short hair, who was probably his first job given his agitation, and he made me a scalding cappuccino, without foam. I left it and paid for it without returning in the following days. A bar this well-kept should probably pay more attention to what they serve to their customers.

01/01/2026: Quality food expertly prepared, friendly owner, a Genoa native (you'll notice this as soon as you enter). It's a lovely place, worth a visit even if you're a Sampdoria fan; you might even declare it, as the food itself is excellent. I don't think they'll give you any discounts, though. :)

23/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of eating here a few times. The owner, an exceptional chef, is kind and welcoming. The menu changes daily, sometimes offering interesting delicacies. Marco's goulash is a must-try, revisited without cumin, yet it's every inch the same as the traditional Hungarian recipe.
I'll definitely be back.

09/04/2026: My girlfriend and I had dinner here the night before Easter. We didn't have a reservation, and despite the late hour, they were very accommodating, which we really appreciated.
We ordered two first courses: she had pasta with clams, and I had seafood ravioli. Both were really good. To finish, we also had a dessert to share.
Overall, it was a truly enjoyable dinner, with good food and attentive, helpful service. Definitely a place to return to.

12/03/2026: I ate very well. I would like to point out that I am celiac. Apart from one starter, I was able to try all the pasta they make fresh. They replaced it for me with a gluten-free one. They also had packaged gluten-free bread. Thanks again for the attention I received as a celiac.
05/03/2026: Excellent place to stop and enjoy the greenery, the food is excellent, the staff is attentive and professional (and friendly too), we will be back soon.

23/10/2025: The first thing you feel when leaving this place is the desire to return. And in fact, I personally returned the same day. The owners have made this place a local hotspot, which is evident in the well-being of the patrons. The prices are reasonable but the products are excellent. Good cocktails, a wide selection of beers. Accompanied by sandwiches and appetizers. A tribute to the staff who created a wonderful atmosphere.

08/11/2025: I've been going to Vecchio Mercato for almost twenty years, and it's become a trusted name in my opinion. Probably the best pizza you'll find within a radius of several kilometers. Service is basic but courteous and fast, and the place is traditional and welcoming. I highly recommend the French fries, a must for any diner!

13/09/2025: Excellent place if you’re looking for peace and a break from the city. Delicious breakfast (included) and dinner (€30 per person) made from local products. Breakfast and dinner are available only for guests. They also have a ropes park and offer lunch for non-guests.
09/09/2025: Simply: it felt like home! ❤️ We spent days of pure relaxation and felt pampered and welcome. We ate, drank, and slept divinely! Bob is a loyal four-legged friend who quickly makes friends with everyone. Thanks to Nereo, Lucia, and their children. We were lucky to discover the Giandriale farmhouse! ❤️

09/03/2026: Nice restaurant, but there was a bit of a wait for service. It was so long that we preferred to leave rather than order dessert. The dish was far too salty. I asked the waiter, but he informed me that this was normal because it's a very salty dish. It was impossible for me to eat it, so the waiter kindly brought me a small portion of another dish.
I only recommend this restaurant if you are used to eating very salty food. Otherwise, avoid it.
