04/05/2025: Paolo manages to amaze us every time with unique culinary creations!!!

26/04/2025: Six friends of us go to eat in this place, which is accessed via a staircase with dozens of photos hanging with various celebrities. The place is located in a very beautiful and suggestive position, with a view that is truly worth it. Unfortunately we end up in a tavern without windows (however they had warned us via telephone) from which we cannot enjoy the view, however the table and the environment in general were ok. The problems begin when the dishes we ordered arrive: the seafood salad as a starter was completely unseasoned, despite this it wasn't bad, let's say it was the minor problem; the spaghetti with clams was very salty (also in terms of price), with traces of sand, taste ok but after 3-4 forkfuls the flavor made everything inedible; the mixed fried food which seemed thrown onto the plate without any care, not particularly tasty and not plentiful; the mixed grill was the most problematic dish: we had been told that we would be served tuna, cod, sea bream and swordfish. Of the first two there was not even a trace and when we asked the waiter we were told "it will be finished" (the swordfish was also raw). Some of us had chosen this dish for the presence of tuna and cod, otherwise they would have changed their choice. Very high prices, at the checkout no one asked us if everything was ok, they just told us the price. When we kindly pointed out that the grill did not contain the fish that we had been told when ordering, we were responded with an irreverent "he must have been confused", without even a superficial apology. It's a shame because it is a very beautiful place and the village is worth a visit, but with 55 euros each (just one bottle of wine for the whole table) in many other places, even on the seaside and with more tourist prices, you can eat much better. You pay for the view, which we didn't even have, zero welcome, inadequate service and insufficient value for money. I hope that reviews like this are not taken as criticism for its own sake but as a stimulus to improve a place that has potential and, furthermore, I hope that there is not an irreverent response to this review like that of those who made us pay the bill.

05/09/2024: For a summer lunch or dinner overlooking the sea, you can't help but go to the LIDO DELLA PALMA baths in Albisola Capo, which still offer a refined venue, even with a veranda in winter, excellent for any occasion (business or atmospheric lunches and dinners)

02/05/2025: Had to wait outside even though there were free tables. It made you feel unwelcome. The other years it was tasty, great and good service.

20/04/2025: Excellent pizza, really good, if I want a pizza I eat it there!!! Everything excellent, fish always fresh. Dear Giorgia and all the staff whose names I don't know. I would improve the choice of desserts a little... I highly recommend it

04/05/2025: Very welcoming restaurant, a little small in space but very pleasant Attentive, helpful and caring service towards the customer. Excellent food with fresh raw materials, I highly recommend coming to eat in this extraordinary place. You can also find a large assortment of wines of various kinds.

27/04/2025: Hospitality, kindness, attentive service, tasty and plentiful traditional dishes, appetizer with cured meats, rice cake and fried foods and traditional Russian salad, homemade ravioli with spectacular sauce, Ligurian rabbit as grandiose as the Genoese top, homemade desserts, all at an absolutely adequate price... recommended and worth trying for both business and family lunches. Very very good....

13/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena la sera dell’otto marzo, il locale era al completo, al telefono abbiamo chiesto la cortesia di poterci ospitare perché avevamo esigenza di cenare presto, con grande gentilezza e disponibilità ci hanno accontentati. La cena è andata benissimo, abbiamo preso antipasti di calamari fritti molto buoni, carne salda fatta da loro eccellente, pizza buona, primi e secondi buonissimi, ottimo pure il dolce. Tutto è andato benissimo, ma il valore aggiunto è stato conoscere Gianni, uno spettacolo di persona, complimenti.

02/01/2025: We were in a group of 9 people, most had pizza, which they were fairly happy with. Well, me and my boyfriend had ravioli that had no taste, the salad was exactly the mix we bought in the supermarket (+ a tomato) and the grilled veggies - which are hard to spoil - had no taste either! Besides, both the veggies and the ravioli portions were tiny. Only deep fried squid was good, but that's even harder to spoil. The tiramisu was not tasty at all, which I could never imagine saying before, wow. Also, it felt like the waiter was in a bad mood and had no time for us, although the restaurant was almost empty. I'm surprised, because normally Italian restaurants are great.

13/04/2025: Unfortunately we tried to book but they never answered the phone. So we went there at 1.30pm and after entering we saw numerous empty tables not yet rearranged and already left by previous customers. We were told that the restaurant was fully booked and so we left. I do not recommend because paying attention to the customer is even more important than how you cook, which I give 4 stars on trust.

Warm atmosphere despite the cold and rain outside Friendly and helpful staff Very good appetizer cheeses Very light and tasty ravioli with a very good ravioli Excellent tortelli with gorgonzola and artichokes Very light and tasty escalope with balsamic vinegar Finally roast pork with brandy apple puree... fantastic! Very satisfied with this dinner. Everything was really tasty, but at the same time light. The portions were all abundant and the price was more than fair. Everything was cooked with great care. We will definitely be back

07/12/2024: The first course + second course and side dish menu is excellent at €14.00. The food is good and in generous portions. If it stays like this in the future I will happily return

06/04/2025: Small restaurant ideally located facing the sea in a peaceful setting. The service, although pleasant, is unfortunately abnormally long and the food with its very limited choice is nothing exceptional. Ultimately the value for money is mainly due to the particularly pleasant setting.
