Made us feel right at home and made recommendations that we loved. Food, service was amazing.

This is quite a popular establishment that has been here for a while. It was recommended by our hotel and we were immediately welcomed by the super friendly manager/owner (?). They specialise in seafood and so we ordered the lobster pasta, seafood pasta and a mix grill of seafood items. Overall, the pasta was very good.. Especially the lobster pasta although my wife did not finish the pasta. The mixed grill was good but as seafood grill doesn't really involve alot of creativity in cooking, it was ok but not exceptional. Nevertheless the energy and friendliness of the manager really made the place special. Food was decently priced and their house wine was very worthwhile. We found the tiramisu to be too rich for our liking but it's great as well.

I was there in June 2023 and I still think about their seafood pasta. I recommend!

The De Lisi brothers continue the tradition of their father who decided to open a restaurant over 50 years ago. The father, now deceased, had understood that the secret of success was to guarantee fresh fish of the day and therefore at half past four in the morning he was in the market choosing the best fish. The restaurant was soon known to all the relatives of the conscripts (sailors) who on the day of the oath, and not only, came to La Spezia and invariably went to eat "Alla Nuova Spezia".

We had dinner last night with my partner...well what can I say, everything was perfect, welcoming staff, excellent food...we will definitely be back😊

Fully recommended. I went with my family, and the owners and staff were extremely kind with us. It had been a long time since I felt like this at a restaurant. The food was really good too. Definitely a place to stop by when you are at La Spezia.

We had dinner twice at Nuova Spezia, and it was wonderful! To be honest, it wasn't our first choice but it was by far the best of our Easter weekend! Thank you VERY MUCH to the whole team! The fish soup, the pasta scarpara, the squid and the langoustines... everything was sublime, fine and fresh! A big thank you to the gentleman we called Nonno for his welcome, his advice, and his kindness! You are a great man and the world deserves more people like you!

We had paccheri with seafood, risotto with marinara and mixed grilled fish. Like sweet meringue. Not excellent quality, it took them very little to bring the dishes probably because they were all already pre-cooked. Waiters not too ready.

An incredible place! The food was delicious and super cheap!!! The staff was very friendly and on top of that they invited us to coffees 😊

Very authentic restaurant with typical dishes from the region. The staff is also really friendly!
